How common first time mom kinda freaked sorry if subjects is sensitive

I’m currently 9 weeks and 5 days I have my first ultrasound next Tuesday but online I’ve read all these things about missed miscarriages

And having a miscarriage but not showing any actual symptoms I want to know how common it is for that to occur

Since I took my first home pregnancy test I’ve had a urine and blood test done at 5 weeks and my levels were fine nothing alarming at 6

At about 6 weeks 5 days I had another urine test (home) it was positive and at a doctor on 7 weeks and 5 days they did a urine test and it came up positive

I have nauseous throughout the day and my sense of smell since 4 weeks has been out of this world the smell of lots of stuff almost makes me want to vomit

Urinating frequently, tired a lot, breast are sore and nipples are very dark.

Not having my ultrasound yet has been making me nervous and reading all these things have made it 10x worse.

So how common are they and when do the rates usually go down.

  • From everything I've read, theres a 25% chance of MC in the first trimester. After that, the chance drops to under 10%

Hey! One-off posts like this are discouraged on the board. It is completely understandable that you're anxious. I would talk to your doctor first and foremost about everything since we are just a forum of women going through the same things :). But there's a website that some girls use: https://datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer.php

Hey! I’m so freaked about this too. Honestly every time I get a positive result or good ultrasound, I feel good for 3 days then go back to worrying about a MC. If it helps I found this article that cites specific studies  and talks about risks of MC by different factors (maternal age, gestational age in weeks, whether you’ve seen a heartbeat) instead of just general numbers.  It’s been helpful for me:

  • Maybe find a new doctor. Serial urine tests are a little suspect that far along. If you find someone else maybe they will just send you for an ultrasound.  Good luck!
