Ever since I teased POAS to track trigger & then said I'd wait.... well I'm back to testing the trigger and have taped my tests to a piece of paper with dates noted... I AM ASHAMED
@ruby696 is it sad that my immediate thought process was "Hmm, does that include OPKs? If so, seems standard"

I just had to unfollow a friend on FB because all she EVAR posts about is being pregnant (she is currently 36 weeks). She was always so fun and level-headed, but it's like this pregnancy stole her brain. And seeing every ridiculous, mundane post of hers always revolving around her pregnancy (i.e. "You know you're pregnant when you can't pass up a popsicle!", "Drank too much soda, now I have the burps. #pregnancyvibes") is just really grating on my last nerve. STAHP! If I'm ever like this when I get KU, I want someone to slap me.
ETA: This was the first time I've had to do something like this since we started TTGP. I can only imagine it getting worse for me the longer this takes.
In a a similar vein, I’m about to unfollow my mom on FB because she posts several insane (and inaccurate) political things every day. I just can’t deal with the propaganda. My brother told me recently that he unfollowed her months ago for the same reason.
ETA: Also, I was super excited when FB started fact checking her, but I don’t think she can see it and they don’t do it for everything.
@ttcbabyodo I don't know, I think most people would find those constant PG posts annoying whether or not they were trying to get KU. That's what irks me about the social media age, people feel like they have to "perform" certain times in their life like that. I get the excitement and wanting to share it but that's just over the top sometimes.
Holy crap @emeraldduchess you hit the nail on the head. I feel like it's gotten very performative. I think at this point it's almost revolutionary to live your life just for your own sake and not for a social media post. And @ttcbabyodo I unfollow without shame or hesitation, encourage you to do the same. As I always say "I think someone has confused FB with their diary again..."
And @mercury94 all 4 of us kids (me, MH, BIL, and SIL) have unfollowed my FIL for similar reasons. It's just not worth it.

@emeraldduchess one girl I knew in college would post the most mundane stuff. Like "class at 2, then homework in the library"
"Going to take a shower before homework"
It was just weird stuff. I know people post random things but it was all the time. Like FB was her diary or her commentating her day to day stuff. I just found it annoying even though I shouldn't have cared about it.

@mercury94 this is one of the reasons I completely deleted fbook - my parents and ILs and ESPECIALLY the friends of my IL's.... they have said some nasty stuff online
@inthewoods23 - hahha those are like AIM away messages from the 90s! That's not what FB is for people.
@mvt2003 - Yeah I feel like I have at least 80 OPK pics on my phone.
@ttcbabyodo - omg your examples of her posts are so funny/terrible! I'm pretty sure burping is standard for anyone drinking soda, not just pregnant women. My favorite/least favorite FB misbehavior is "vaguebooking." ...where people are like "Wow, you think you know someone but then certain people just surprise you with their BS and drama." Then people comment asking WTF the person is talking about and they're like "I can't say right now." Uhh ok thanks for wasting everyone's time and getting me semi-invested in this gossip and then not delivering.
My FFFC....my SO got me a purse last Christmas that I spent way too long choosing and kept changing my mind about and finally settled on.....and it is kind of the bane of my existence. There are no interior pockets and I feel like I spend half my life digging around for things in the bottom. How long do I have to keep using it before it's respectable to replace?
DH worked later last night, he got home about 9:30. I had gone to bed about 8:45 but was still awake on my phone when I heard him get home. I was tired and didn't want to talk to anyone so I put my phone away and faked being asleep when he came up to shower and change. I did end up going to sleep for real shortly after he went back downstairs.
@whitealbum29 is there any way you can spin it as a “winter bag” and that you need something different for summer? Or do you have any wristlets that you could put stuff in so that you don’t have to dig?
@chichiphin - not that expensive, it was from Anthropologie....like maybe $80ish!
@bows22 - yeah I actually have a little bag in it that I use for cash, hair ties, keys, all the necessities....but still, bags without pockets should be banned. I have to unzip the little bag when I want to put anything in it! #firstworldproblems Hmm the seasonal bag thing could be an option...
I like the seasonal bag idea from @bows22 but I do think you could also say you are looking for a “brown/black/beige (insert any other color here)” version
@whitealbum29 I've been successful with @chichiphin 's idea of looking for a specific color. MH ALWAYS remembers what bag he bought me and if I'm not using it he notices lol.

@mtv2003 - haha yes I'd like to think I've built up some credit by using it allll the time since December but I feel like I would get some comments if I stopped.
@whitealbum29 so, since this *is* flame-free after all, I do have a teeny tiny little not so nice suggestion for you. This is based on my own experience. MH bought me one of my all-time fave bags, I ADORE it and get compliments on it all the time. The strap broke unfortunately, and we're at kind of an impasse about what to do about it. I want to get the strap repaired, (after his original reaction of "so that bag is done then?") he wants to cut the broken strap off and buy a cheap one on Amazon. For a Kate Spade bag. I know, I am also horrified. In the meantime, it's sitting by my front door looking sad until I just take it myself for repairs. So I speak from experience that men do not understand bags and he would most likely not question it if something mysteriously happened to the strap...

I’m super mad at all of the ladies in the March BMB for not creating a TTGP Grad Check In thread so that I can check up on them without feeling like a completely weird stalker. There are so many of you. One of you can throw a thread together.
Also mad at the ladies in Feb for not really using theirs, except for @brookert615.
I've spent so much time going in circles on the phone with my insurance about trying to appeal this rejection to have lupron covered that I'm saying f*ck it, let's just pay OOP because nobody has even just given me instructions or transferred me to a department where I can submit the info to do it. I've argued with 2 people now that Anthem does have 877 phone numbers because they're on my damn insurance card so clearly they don't know what they're talking about. Earlier today one of the people gave me a phone number to call which was listed as Provider Services which obviously is not for me to call since I'm a member.
So yeah, just to end the anxiety (even though I have plenty of time to work things out) and annoyance, I am willing to pay hundreds extra for this medication just so I can be done with it and move on.
Did the same for our florist. We paid an extra $250 so that they would come and take all the flowers and decor we rented from them instead of us having to take everything at the end of the night, wash all the glass jars, and return them 2 days later after the wedding.

@mvt2003 - hahah amazing! Why didn't I think of this? There has to be some way I can mess it up! The strap seems fairly sturdy but I literally just stopped what I was doing to examine the seam and see if it could plausibly come loose....
@whitealbum29 I'll see if I can get a pic tonight of what happened to my leather strap without him noticing (bc good gravy I do not want to start that particular discussion over again)!
