What’s your diagnosis? Possible Asymmetric IUGR, AMA
Upcoming appointments: 2 Appts on 7/16, growth scan and OB
Rants: Stressful day at work today. I wish I could share more, but I need to be careful since we are not in a PG yet. Let's just say I'm so glad it's over and that there's a holiday tomorrow.
Raves: Glad to have the day off tomorrow. We'll be going to a BBQ at a friend's house and keeping it relatively low-key since we'll be back to work on Friday.
Questions/Concerns: Just concerned and worried about growth now and googling far too much.
What’s your diagnosis? Homozygous MTHFR, protein C deficiency, pre-eclampsia
Upcoming appointments: MFM w/ growth scan next Thursday
Rants: pretty sure all the stress with DS1 is contributing to my BP issues 😪 i’m already taking BA and now up to magnesium supplements containing 90% of the daily recommended amount, so I’m hoping we can keep it under control until term
Raves: HELLO 3rd tri!
Questions/Concerns: not related to the baby so no 😪
What’s your diagnosis? Advanced gest. Age, possible IUGR
Upcoming appointments: Growth scan next Thursday will see MFM, getting sugar test at OB office but no visit.
Rants: Tired of being tired, otherwise not much to gripe about ATM
Raves: DH and I had a much needed date yesterday. We saw Spider-Man, went to dinner, did a little window shopping and ended the evening going to this shaved ice place and sitting/chatting outside while we enjoyed.
@mrsinterweb If it’s any help or reassurance DS was IUGR as well as this little one. Outside of sucking issues right after birth and sensitive GI system he’s had no problems. He’s a healthy and developmental normal 4.5 yr old. He ma
What’s your diagnosis? Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (past two pregnancies), now potentially Fifth Disease
Upcoming appointments: 07/18 GTT + OB
Rants: I still don’t have my labs back on whether I have Fifth Disease immunity which is making me batty. I threw my back out (which has nothing to do with my high risk designation, haha) and it’s making me cranky with my family and I wasn’t able to sit to enjoy fireworks last night.
Raves: no itching yet! Maybe I’ll get through this pregnancy without ICP!
@mrsinterweb I know it’s hard not to google but stay away if you can! It’s even harder when it’s something new and out of the blue. I hope you get good news at your growth scan! 🤞🏻
@cmbt2 I’m sorry about the uncertainty with your DS1. I hope you can get answers soon. Congrats on getting to 3rd tri, can’t wait to join you!
@kindbytealikat How was Spider-Man? Trying to decide whether to take the boys while it is in movie theatres or wait for Redbox.

This was/is similar to our experience, too. The only issues DS2 (he’s now a couple months over 2) had was reflux plus MPI. He still is milk protein intolerant, but so am I when not pregnant, so it can be linked to genetics as well. I can’t comment on sucking because I don’t nurse.
@quidditchcapn1120 I really enjoyed it, but I really like Tom Holland’s version of him. If you go you have to stay through the 2nd end credit scene, being pregnant made that difficult but it’s very important pertaining to the MCU.
@mrsinterweb best of luck with your scan this week? Mine is on July 15th first thing in the morning (thank goodness bc I don't think I would be able to concentrate at work)
@cmbt2 hopefully resolution can come soon so your BP can decrease // congrats on 3rd trimester! I just got here today, though I thought 3rd tri is 28 weeks so that was a pleasant surprise to wake up to on my weekly updates
What’s your diagnosis? None officially, just multiple MFM scans scheduled to make sure the baby is growing properly due to low PAPP-A levels
Upcoming appointments: July 15th, I cannot wait for it
Rants: we had guests over today and one of them criticized my choice of curtains and of course that caused me to cry after they left (thanks pregnancy hormones)
Raves: 3rd tri today! I'm so happy and grateful to be since I got so fearful from googling intensely after a terrible blood draw (low PAPP-A, trisomy scares, etc) that I couldn't believe we would get here
@marbellie Soon! Our next scan is on the 16th. Congrats also on 3rd tri!! I'm so sorry your guests criticized your decor! That's horrible and obviously they have terrible taste! Hugs!
@marbellie - 3rd tri is 27 weeks? I thought it was 28 too. I'm only 24+3 so I have a while to go...
seems like IUGR is a potential issue for a lot of us!
EDD: Oct 25th
What’s your diagnosis? previous pregnancy loss showed massive perivillous fibrin deposition, rare issue where my body laid down fibrin deposits all over the placenta causing it to fail. has 80% chance of recurring so I'm monitored for IUGR/ will do doppler checks to check on placenta as pregnancy progresses/ weekly NSTs once I get to 32 weeks.
Upcoming appointments: tomorrow morning with MFM. As I posted in the weekly randoms, I Had unexplained bleeding this Thursday with spotting continuing on and off until yesterday (so far so good today). I cannot wait to get to my appt. I went to an ER in a rural CA town and while it was reassuring for the time being, it didn't bring me peace of mind.
Rants: Ugh we got home at 2 AM last night and I am working today (from home because if I walk a lot I seem to bleed more...)
Raves: not today.. just depressed and down and worried about this pregnancy and the bleeding.
Questions/Concerns: nothing that I haven't stated above.
@marbellie@quidditchcapn1120 yes, it was yesterday. It was reassuring - baby is doing just fine. They did a vaginal u/s and found that a thin portion of my placenta is still covering the cervix, which could have caused the bleed. I'm supposed to take it really easy, work from home whenever possible, and back on complete pelvic rest. Not ideal, but so relieved!
@obsessedwithoranges it's wonderful to hear that it wasn't anything more serious. Sorry that it's got you back on pelvic rest and travel restriction, but your sooo close! For all that you've had to go through I have my fingers crossed that this little doll is a lot easier on you when he/she makes their appearance, lol.

We had our two week follow-up scan today. We had really great progress and I'm feeling a lot of relief. At our last visit baby was in the 26th% for overall weight but only 5th% in the abdomen. At today's he was at 36th% overall and jumped up to 20th% in the abdomen. We'll scan again in 3 weeks, but Dr was really pleased with the trajectory he is on and so are we!
