I feel like this one is small potatoes here, but what's currently irritating me is that I have a member of my dept (above me on the org chart, I'm the administrator) who has a large meeting in an hour, and when I try to help him nail down call-in line details, he was basically like oh we'll handle it later.

How about we handle it now? Then it'll be done, and when I leave for my chiropractor appointment I won't get frantic phone calls from you.... Sigh.

My OB is a TW. I met with her last week to get a referral letter for a specific out of network RE (for IVF). She took notes, paid attention, and said she'd write the letter. Then yesterday I got a call from a nurse telling me she was on the insurance website and my RE isn't on the approved list, so would it be okay if she sent me to a different one? Um, no. That was the whole point of my request, since the options are all for RE's 45-60 minutes away. I want the one down the street from my office, who has done two IUI's for me already. Andddddd, apparently my OB is out all week, so that's great. Because CD1 should be on Saturday and I need to start BC on CD2. Argh!

We seriously might just pay OOP. Because there's a decent chance the ins company won't approve it and then we'd have to oay OOP anyway and lose a cycle. A loan for $8k isn't ideal, but I think my sanity is worth that much.

@ruby696 will there be a likelihood of needing a second retrieval? your insurance may cap out or may only cover one, so if you know you need two, I'm inclined to agree with you to pay OOP

@chichiphin That's a good point. I've been a poor responder this far, so a second retrieval could necessary. I know MH isn't thrilled about paying OOP, but he's going to defer to me and I've already decided what I'm going to do. 😁

The ones I get are either a shot of a woman holding an US photo in front of her pregnant belly, or Beyonce on stage stroking her pregnant belly. Ugh.

New TW.... Insurance. Ugh. I guess my next step is to call the clinic tomorrow 🙄

Trying to submit an appeal to get lupron covered and express scripts does handle the pre-authorization anymore and tell me to contact anthem. Whoever the hell I talked to said no they don't do that. Like wtf 😒

Anyone know what lupron is OOP?

I'm just here to complain that my antibiotic is making me want to barf. I can't find any good time to take it so it's generally when I haven't eaten and it makes me nauseous. Thank God it's the last day. I long for the day of just taking PNV.

Haha! Thanks @bows22 for pointing me this way. I would have immediately asked what I did wrong if I hadn’t been so busy yesterday. For the record, my username is not related to the planet, but the musician. I have no sympathy for the obnoxious planet.

ETA: My TW is also @ruby696’s OB. And work for making me late to this party.
