I'd rather the full moon be in Capricorn than Sagittarius like it was last month, lol. As an Earth sign (Virgo), I'm more comfortable with the Capricorn full moon. It's more grounding for me. But, with Mercury being in retrograde, I won't be surprised if I don't get KU this cycle. Things always just seem off during retrograde, like anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

I never believed in any of that stuff until recently. This Mercury retrograde is KILLING ME.

Also, you guys... it's taking all of my willpower right now not to say something ban-worthy to the Peggy playing the victim card right now. Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe in, breathe innnnnnn....

@shamrocandroll it would probably be rude of me to tell the Peggy that I also didn't use my TB account for a year but I wasn't stupid and read all the pinned posts cuz, you know, I was a newbie to the board and like to follow the rules!

@inthewoods23 I have an incessant need to always follow the rules (which makes me super fun at parties) and so people tho blatantly ignore them really irk me. I'm not usually triggered by pee stick photos, but today after my own extremely disappointing BFN, I couldn't hold back...

@shamrocandroll @inthewoods23 honestly I lurked for multiple months, I didn't want to make a mis-step!! Message boards all have their own set-ups, and I've always watched and observed for a bit to make sure I knew all the rules. And when I first started posting, I would double check things JUST to be sure. You're not alone in being a rules enthusiast!!

I actually started in the Trouble TTC board before joining in here but I still read the pinned posts in each!

@inthewoods23 Honestly!! I know a lot of it is that people find they actually have Bump accounts because they used to have Knot accounts, etc. and that eliminates the mandatory waiting period to post when you open an account. But I will never understand Peggy's who dive in expecting everyone to fall all over them to reassure them that no they absolutely ARE KU, that test just must be wrong!

Can someone please tell me all of my BFN tests are wrong? Isn't that how this all works?

Seriously, if I do not lay off the freaking SS I'm going to go batty between now and Friday. I've just looked up EDD and all sorts of other details. CTFD MVT!!!!!! I'm going to sit in my car and repeat over and over "I am not KU, calm down."

@mvt2003 I have no symptoms at all, but keep thinking this cycle might be the one because my chart looks just like my last bfp chart. Which ended in a loss. So yeah, simmer down, Ruby.😂

I just ordered a three pack for FRER's from Amazon. Apparently I've ordered the same thing on 23 prior occasions. That's 69 FRERs. I think I test too much. 😂

@ruby696 Better to buy them on Amazon than in person! I had to buy some 2 cycles ago, and I had to check out with a cashier at Walgreens that I literally see all the time, and who makes awkward conversation all the time. Shocked she hasn't asked about the status yet.

Ahhhh you guys! The fridge repair guy is back and he is confident he just made a bad solder connection on the new compressor he put in. @ruby696 Apparently this is a known bad compressor and they've been failing left and right. LG has a new compressor they're having the warranty tech use to replace it. He feels confident it was his mistake and it'll be back up and running today! Crossing ALL the things!!!

I used my last FRER for the saline sono yesterday since I wasn't sure if I needed to take an HPT before it (they had me do it for the first one) so I figured to do it to be safe. And idiot me forgot as I'm basically done on the toilet so I said f*** it, I'll dip it in the bowl even though that guarantees a stark white, but at least I can say I took one if I need to! They probably don't require it since I've been on BC the last 3 weeks so I pretty much wasted it.

ugh I'm still FRER shy from my last experience... but maybe by 12-14DPO this cycle if I am KU, there won't be any "squinters", just a true line or not.

I always use the self-checkout when I buy FRERs. I think self-checkout was invented so people could buy FRERs, condoms and lube without having to make eye contact with a cashier. 🙊

@emeraldduchess Oh I wish that was a possibility for me! My town is largely anti-self-checkout. We're also anti-drive-through, which is also infuriating.

@inthewoods23 Yep!! Ours are severely limited! Just for reference, I'm technically in a small city with a population of about 65,000 people. We have only 3 fast food restaurants with drive-thrus, and they're not allowed to be open past midnight. They built a new Starbucks with a drive-thru and it was a Big Deal. Panera tried to just sneak a drive-thru window in their new construction and the city made them fill it in, so now there's this bricked up window on the side of our Panera.

I was a grocery checker during high school and was always so amused by how uncomfortable people got buying personal care items - menstrual supplies, condoms, lube, etc. Everyone makes NO eye contact during the transaction. I would just scan it and keep chatting about small talk things.

@mvt2003 I live in a small country town of about 4,500 people and not a single stoplight (lol) and even WE have 3 drive-thru options.

@shamrocandroll we don't even have a drive-thru dunkins, and for New England you know that's insane!

Part of the reason is that we're so densely populated we just don't have the room for them in most places, but our local government is also convinced that drive-thrus lead to drunk driving. Our Wendy's is open until 3am, but the drive-thru has to close at 11:30, so all the drunk people just end up in the dining room together. ::eye roll::

@mvt2003 Yeah, one of the 3 here is a Dunkin. The other ones are a food market/deli and a diner. That's the dumbest thing ever. Drive-thrus are one of the greatest inventions of all time!

@shamrocandroll I will admit, MH kind of secretly loves it. When we lived in a different town that had tons of drive-thrus, we definitely spent wayyyyy more money on frivolous items. 3pm and want a coffee? Sure! It's amazing what having to park and get out of the car does to that little habit lol.

My dog threw up ONE TIME yesterday and now I keep getting a giant ad at the bottom of each screen that says "causes of dog vomit". The extent of the conversation between DH and I was him texting me about the barf, then us saying it one time while we walked him. CREEPY.
