R/R: My MIL will be in town this weekend. Not excited. Last time she was here we had a blow out fight because I overheard her bashing me as a wife to my own mother. She doesn’t think her son is happy with me. And during the fight she divulged even more stuff I hadn’t overheard. It was horrible and I don’t want to see her face.

@tyrion_ Oh my goodness, that is awful. I wouldn’t want to see her either. Is this an ongoing issue or did she just suddenly decide you’re wrong for her son? Also, who thinks it’s a good idea to say bad things about someone to their mother? So weird.

@tyrion_ omg, that is horrible about your MIL. Did you all have a bad relationship before this? I would be so furious. I’m sure YH is happy with you ❤️

My parents are coming today so I’m excited about that, and I got woken up just now by my pup jumping into bed (something he’s typically too scared to do without lots of encouragement), rolling his head back onto my pillow, and attacking me with kisses 😍 I sure love this doofus

My MIL is a very selfish person. And when it became apparent that my husband wasn’t going to bend over backwards for her when it came to putting her above our relationship she started trying to drive a wedge between us. I’ve known she trashes me but this is the first time I caught her.

One more rant so y’all know it’s not that I’m a brat that expected my husband (then boyfriend) to pick me over his mom.

When we had been dating for about a year I went up north to visit and meet his whole family (aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents) and his mom joined us.
The day before we were set to fly home his mom told my husband her flight itinerary (she was flying back to Orlando with us and then to Costa Rica out of an airport 3 hours south of the Orlando airport). He said, “ok, why do I need this info?”’
she expected him to drive her 3 hours south for him to then drive 5-6 hours back up north to where we lived at the time. When it is only 2 hours to where we lived out of the Orlando airport. She flipped out and blamed me for him not driving all around the state of Florida for her when he simply suggested she just rent a car and drive herself.
That was my first clue this lady was nuts.

*lurking from WTO* wow @tyrion_ your MIL sounds like a pill. I wouldn't want to be around her either, especially after you overheard her comments. Have you ever discussed this with her? Also, what was your mom's reaction to your MIL bashing her daughter? I'd be livid, yo.

@tyrion_ wow she sounds like a real piece of work. Does YH have siblings? Sounds like someone still needs to cut the cord, geez. I love my mom but I would never drive that far to take her to the airport...good grief. I hope your mom was like ummmmm no b*tch!

OMG @tyrion_ I am so very sorry. That is so hard. I'm happy it sounds like YH doesn't jump to her call, but the fact that she's still acting this way is so awful for you both. Hoping this weekend goes ok for you. I probably would need to sew my mouth shut, myself.....

I told my mom I was very hurt that she didn’t stop her in her tracks when she started talking about me. In my mom’s defense, she wasn’t in the best frame of mind. My dad had died a few months before and she avoids conflict and confrontation like the plague. So she just sat there. That hurt more than whatever my mil said.

And I have tried talking to my mil, making her feel included, and welcome. But it’s been almost 14 years of this. I’m done.

@tyrion_ OMG WTF to your MIL?!? I am so sorry you had to put up with that. Did your H stand up for you? Any chance you can make other plans for the weekend and avoid her? Her behavior is absolutely absurd.

@b_1029 I hate those times of terrible sleep. All i can think about all day is when i get to go to bed again, and then when I get to bed I can't even sleep.... hope you get good rest this weekend!

AFM - Still hanging out, but dont really belong here or WTO. I think my body is trying to ruin my vacation and AF is going to come Sunday.

@tyrion_ So sorry your mom got cornered like that. I agree that her not being in an emotional place to defend you makes it even worse.

R/R: Good news: Got my FF CHs! Bad news: FF agrees with Femometer that I O'd the day after my calculations. I tend to not believe it because I compulsively used Wondfos to watch my levels go down to high then low, and I know for a fact I was off peak by the last one of CD15, and at low by the end of CD16. So I'm going with my wondfos!

No matter what, it's Friday! I'm going to get errands done tonight and tomorrow, then Sunday is an extravaganza! Beach with my bestie, then late lunch/early dinner with our friends, then hanging out with MH. I need a day of relaxing! I'll spend the day listening to her tell me about her latest guy, and I'll b*tch about **TW**

the baby shower I got invited to and the shenanigans involved with that. (The father-to-be called MH out on me not going, and told him the mother-to-be knew why I "really" wasn't coming and that she told him he shouldn't have asked MH about it...)**

@mvt2003 FWIW, I would agree with FF on your O day. You typically O 12-36 hours after peak. So it seems to make sense that CD16 would be the day.

@millpe I think the reason I'm still on the fence is because I got my first peak reading on CD14, it went down to high for one reading on CD14, then back to peak on CD15. I only recorded the CD15 peak just to be safe. Then CD15 end of day it went to high, and was at low by the end of CD16.

@mvt2003 either way you have good timing. You should input your other results into FF and see what it gives you. It does best when it has all of the information. Are you checking CM as well?

@tyrion_ Oh wow, that's crazy. I'm not a fan of my own MIL, but she only talks crap about me with people I don't know. What's with MIL's thinking their son should prefer their moms over their wives?? Crazy women. Sending you strength.

@mvt2003 I'm sometimes a slow riser, so I i believe my body over FF. Sometimes it takes me 2-3 days to get a temp rise. But either way, your timing looks good!

@tyrion_ I'm so sorry about your MIL! I have a strained relationship with my MIL as well, so I can relate all too well. She talks horribly about the people she supposedly cares about all the time, so I can only imagine what she says about me. In her mind, I took her son ALL the way to NH (not even 3 hours away from her) and I'm the reason she never sees him anymore. Even though he's the one who is terrible at calling her or making plans with her, and even though I'm pretty sure we see her more now than when she lived 20 minutes from us and yet still never visited or called. My MIL visits us at the end of this month, and I anticipate some tension because she has been literally harassing me about having a baby and I'm about ready to snap the next time she says something. It hurts me that MH doesn't stand up to her when she says things like that, too. Ugh, I could go on, but I will stop. I'm sorry you're in a similar situation.

@b_1029 I'm sorry your sleep sucks lately. Hopefully it cools down and you get relief soon. But that wake up call sounds adorable, at least!

R/R: Ugh you guys. My fridge is still not fixed and I could cry. The repair tech came yesterday while I wasn't home and apparently replaced basically every replaceable part in the closed loop system. He plugged it back in, heard everything come on, and left! I got home to a brief note about what he did and a still non-working fridge. They did the same thing a couple of years ago with my oven, and it took 2 visits for them to fix that, and it ended up being the thing I told them was wrong the first time, when they ignored me. I'm so angry. I'm still being nice to them on the phone and he did sincerely apologize at least, but he won't be back until Tuesday. I'm so tired of having to go to the basement every time we need something from the fridge. It makes cooking dinner so difficult, but at least we have the backup fridge now, anyway.

CS/Q: Let the SS and BSC begin! Sore boobs and cramps today. They're actually making more pessimistic than optimistic because the last 2 cycles I had super sore boobs and was 100% convinced that meant I was KU, but I wasn't. Also, MH and I had a drink or two too many last night in celebration of our 11 year first date anniversary, and ended up DTD, and now I'm freaking out that we may have potentially knocked the egg loose because I am A LUNATIC. Please someone smack me now.

@shamrocandroll I'll join you on the SS/BSC crazy train so you don't feel so alone. Last night in bed I felt all this prickly and weird pinching sensations and was like duh, that's definitely implantation. I feel nothing today and also realized I was only 6dpo so what I was feeling was probably gas/progesterone levels rising/placebo effect. I find I'm at my most insane from 6dpo-9dpo and then I slowly give up hope & end up no longer caring just in time for AF to arrive. The TWW is truly maddening!

@puppylove8910 @shamrocandroll I’m on the SS too. 6 DPO and I decided I felt weird/ pricking sensations while I was attempting to lay down for a nap. It can’t possibly be because my stomach has been upset all day (which also puts me on the SS train haha)
