  • Hey! I saw there was no chatter in this thread so I figured I'd throw one out there and see who bites, lol.

I have another UO, but it's a positive one instead of a hater one like my one upthread: I think Maynard James Keenan from Tool is foxy. Even now that he's 55 years old (nearly 20 yrs my senior), I'd still let him sing "Crawling through my own chaotic insecure delusions" in my ear at night. I've loved him since I was 9 years old.

  • @ttcbabyodo I suppose I could see that, but it depends heavily on whether you're talking about this Maynard:

    Or this one 😬

  • @ttcbabyodo noooooo Pink Floyd is amazing. Especially listening to an album in order all the way through. So many interesting musical themes that recur throughout!
  • UO: I don’t like theater. I sound like some uncultured heathen but I’ve hated it since I was a kid. The overacting, the loud voices, the predictability—dear gawd, I can’t wait till it’s over. (But I love the songs in musicals😆)

Someone else admitted their hate for theater too recently, not sure if it was @flowntheloop or another member?
  • @keikilove I also am not a theater fan. The overacting just kills me.

Haha! Honestly, either one works for me. My love for him is undying. And I've always had a thing for older men. I think Gabriel Byrne is sexy. Same with Ian McShane.

  • I eat food to survive. I don’t really care for expensive, gourmet meals.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @shamrocandroll yes! Plus, I’ve found most plaques aren’t really informative anyway, so what’s the point? I have napped on benches while mh finishes reading everything in a room. I’m not against learning stuff, but I just can’t feign interest at ANOTHER clay pot.

I guess mine is that I have no desire to go to a live concert. Has someone already mentioned this one? Doesn’t matter the kind of music. I’d rather sit on a comfortable couch at home without a million strangers surrounding me.
  • @ttcbabyodo Don't feel bad. Growing up, I always had a thing for Slash. I'm not proud of it. And I'm not totally over it, either...
  • @begging4abump this is how I feel about sporting events. Way better in my living room than in person. Or at a bar even
