Took 2 tests this morning- first urine of the day and one shortly after, both came out positive. The next test says negative.. period is due this Saturday. Can you have a false positive result?! I hope not!!

It’s against the TOU to post pee sticks here. It’s not that kind of forum.

Hi @hdg19 It is against the terms of use on this board to post pregnancy tests. Please see the pinned Newbie posts.
Also, QFP.

It is against the terms of use to ask us if you’re pregnant. But, yes, we have recently heard of a false positive on a First Response test, so it’s possible. If it’s not a false positive, please don’t come back and update us. This is a community of women trying to get pregnant. Many have been struggling for years. Please don’t throw your positive tests in our faces.
Thanks for rubbing your pee stick in our faces. Didn’t need this today.
Me: 35 DH: 35 TTC since 9/2018
Dx: MFI 10/19- First RE visit 2/20- DH had surgery for bilateral varicoceles 7/20- IUI with 5 mg letrozole- BFN 9/20- IVF. 9 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 7 blasts, 4 PGT-A normal 11/20- Mock transfer/ERA 12/20- FET #1- transferred one 4AB- BFN 3/21- FET #2- transferred one 3AB- BFP! Due Dec 2021 12/21- Baby girl born!
These are two different brands of tests. Anyone who has been struggling TTGP for a long time or dealing with one or more loss and subsequent anxiety (i.e. MANY people on this board) know that First Response tests are MUCH more sensitive (and cost more) than other tests, so they will show a positive result before other brands. So most likely your first TWO are right... and you can't seriously convince me you think those lines are false positives? I mean...
Methinks someone wanted to show off their blazing hot positive FRER pee sticks but wanted us to confirm that she is, in fact, pregnant even though the CB one looks negative.
Chill, chick. Either wait a couple of days and test again, or schedule a blood test with your doc. It's not that hard.
