Weird recipes lol

i was thinking it might be fun to share off food concoctions you had made from pregnancy cravings... who knows something might sound delicious to someone else and they can try!! Haha

this morning i made a scramble with pan fried zucchini, onions, pasta, 2 eggs, Parmasean cheese and topped it off with some raspberry chipotle salsa... it was soo soo good! (Now I need to balance that with some sweetness!!!)

    Fun idea!

This is actually an all-the-time weird recipe of mine that I extra enjoy during pregnancy.  Hot sauce and peanut butter sandwiches.

Seriously, don’t knock it till you try it!

it's funny how your taste changes! I had sushi that tasted like MJ last pregnancy! I haven't had any cravings except for carbs and fruits & veggies this time so far, pretty boring.

  • Ditto @leksiL . ALLLLL I want is carbs and fruits so far. I am really bummed that it looks like I am going to not like avocados this time around either.
  • @bg122785 this is also me right now. This baby is especially into potato wedges/fries, watermelon, and pineapple. But really any fruit and carbs will do.
  • OMG- So some things are repulsive now that I usually like, but some foods are like out of this world amazing all of a sudden: cold mango chunks and also Samosas (freaking carb dumpling best food I've ever eaten in my entire life).
  • I pretty much make potatoes with eggs, cheddar, and salsa every single day.
  • @pirateduck I’m going to try this because I think I love all of those things. I haven’t been able to repeat dinners yet though, it’s weird.
  • @merigoround I made my first batch of refrigerator pickles this past week and they are bomb! Especially the chunks of garlic- next level pickles!

  • I like to do pickle sandwiches with salt and pepper kettle chips. Take a cold pickle and put it in between two chips to make a little sandwich. Note: not pretty to eat in front of others...
  • @therealbitts  OMG yessss....my mouth is watering right now thinking of that!  I would eat that anytime, pregnant or not.

  • I made homemade Mac n cheese (sauce is butter, cream cheese, milk, and sharp cheddar). But the pièce de résistance...I poured in some buffalo sauce for tang! Yummmm!
  • @daffodil_shoe yes! That sounds awesome. May have to make some of that tonight. MH has like every kind of buffalo sauce known to man.
