Hey! I could use some commiseration during this first trimester and adored my BMB during my first pregnancy so even though I'm a little late to the party hopefully you'll have me! I have a DS almost 3, I've been married forever and I'm from California.
ETA: Due 1/17, 9 weeks along according to U/S dating, I must have had the longest cycle because I'd be 12 weeks based in LMP (this is the never ending 1st trimester)
My name is Jess and I live in Georgia. This is definitely a big happy surprise for my husband of 13 yrs. and I. We have 2 girls (8 & 4), 2 cats & 2 dogs. I just recently turned 37 so it feels like a new ballgame being a lil older. We haven't told our parents yet, but I'm sure they will be as shocked as we were. Our due date is January 21...best of luck to y'all for healthy babies!
Hi everyone! So happy and excited to meet you all! My name is Alyssa. I am 29 and have been married for almost 3 years. DH and I have been TTC since July 2018. I have PCOS and also Factor V Leiden, so it's been a seemingly long road of Lovenox shots 2x per day and we have been doing assisted TI with Letrozole and Ovidrel trigger since December. CP in March 2019, but next cycle resulted in a BFP I am 8.5 weeks pregnant with TWINS! which was a huge shock to us but we are incredibly excited. These would be our first children. Wishing everyone a healthy and happy pregnancy. My EDD is 1/23/20, but I'm sure with twins I will be surprised if I go more than 36 weeks. Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
Hi everyone! I can finally post! I was a longtime knottie and bumpie back in the day, but that was years ago and I don't remember my login. Things have definitely changed around here. I have a DS who is 12 and a DD who is 9 and we thought we were done! We never made anything permanent, but we also never really prevented and we'd just sort of accepted a few years back that we weren't going to get another one. Well, big surprise! Apparently, I can get pregnant. I'm feeling a bit old to do all this again. We'd purposefully chosen to have kids young, so we could travel more once they were out of the house. We'd even begun deciding where to buy a condo in a few years to downsize the house. Oh well! We're both excited but still adjusting. My EDD is 1/25/20 and I'm counting the days until the second trimester when this morning sickness might finally ease up!
Hello ladies! So glad to be here.. I'm pregnant for the first time at 36 after my husband and I finally decided to have kids. We've been together forever and didn't intitially want kids, and changed our minds. It's kind of a trip, but we are really excited. I'm due January 3, 2020 and our first scan showed we are on track (off by only two days).
We have a rambunctious 15 lb cat made of pure muscle. He is really fun and eats all the bugs in the house. I love mountain biking, I occasionally run, and am working out in a CrossFit gym, but taking it easy. I also love learning about nutrition for fun.

A little late joining....Wanted to wait until after the 1st appointment. 8 weeks today due 1/29/20 (I’m taking this with a grain of salt...I’ve been well past due with previous 3 babies) so I may end up in the February 2020 group 🤷🏻♀️. Congrats to all!

Hi, I'm Kendra and my husband of 5 years and I are expecting our first. Had a MC in 2016. We did IVF to get this far, and we are grateful! We also have a sweet, funny diva dog that keeps us entertained. My due date is Jan 24th.
Hey, my name's Alicia! I'm 30 years old from Canada. This is baby number 3 for us - though fifth pregnancy. Our son is 3 and our daughter is 1. We had a loss prior to each of our children, so we are thankful that we had a really good ultrasound with this one, even if it was a bit of a surprise pregnancy Estimated due date is January 28!
Hi! I'm Nina, I'm 24 and pregnant with my third! I'm a stepmom to a 17 year old and mom to Maia who is 4, and Amara, who is 22 months! Due January 20th.
Hey guys, I've been lurking for a while so I figured I would introduce myself. I'm Destiny, I live in Singapore temporarily. I'm a mom to 1 (3 yo) and step mom to 2 (6 and 8). I started off in the Feb group, with a DD of Feb 1, but I knew I would end up here. Went to my ultrasound last week and now my DD is Jan 31. This is my 4th pregnancy (two prior very early MC), but things seem to be progressing well so I'm hopeful. Looking forward to getting to know you ladies!
Hi I’m Brittany and I’m 12 weeks, due January 4th! I’m 33, live in Georgia, and this is my first pregnancy! I’ve been married for 11 years and have a sweet corgi for nearly 7 years. Excited to add to our little family!!
Hello all, I'm Kristen. I live in Idaho. Pregnant with my second through IVF. Due date of Jan 23rd, but planning to go at 37 weeks due to previous surgery and C-section. I have a blooming toddler at 20 months old. I'm 38 (yikes!). Been married 4 years. We have 3 dogs and a cat. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Hello, I’m Chelsea, nice to meet you guys! I’ve been married almost 7 years, been stateside for 4, and we have a 3 year old son. Now we are expecting baby #2, around January 5th. We had a home birth for our first, which my husband and I both loved, and we are hoping to be able to do that again with this one!
So, I changed my username over a month ago and it's just showing up this morning. I was previously Spedteach something (I dont even remember my previous username. Or anything else these days.
Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a few weeks, but I'm ready to jump in now! Second pregnancy, due 1/26. I was super active in my last bmb, and hoping to be in this one as well!
Greetings from Albuquerque! STM here. Looking at a due date mid January, but who really knows when the baby will come. Looking forward to chatting with everyone.
Hi all. My name is Susan. My edd is 1/26/2020. I’ve been hesitant on posting and getting involved in the discussion boards since I had a miscarriage at 6w in August. My husband and I pretty much started trying again as soon as my doctor cleared me. It took us a while but we’re here!! Im trying to stay very positive and just trying to enjoy the ride. Two more weeks to go until I’m finally out of the 1st trimester!
Hi! I’m a little late joining. Im Melyssa from Toronto. I’m 32 and this is my fiancé’s and my first baby. We just got the panorama results today and we’re having a boy! I’m due Jan 20 2020
Sylvia from Minnesota here. I've been lurking for quite a while. I'm 41, 1st pregnancy, and just hit 11weeks - due date Jan23! My husband and I were happily surprised with this pregnancy, because I had recently been diagnosed with infertility and we had an appointment with a clinic all set up. Have had a hard time realizing this is real!
Hello from PA. I am a former teacher turned SAHM. I’m 33 years old married for almost 5 years and we have 2 boys and a dog. My oldest is almost three and youngest is 13 months. This pregnancy was a bit of a surprise and I’m very excited and very overwhelmed. I’m still close with my May 18 bump group and am looking forward to the closeness and support from this group. I’ve been lurking for a few weeks between Jan and Feb and decided I definitely like this group best! I love that there are a lot of moms expecting their 3rd/4th. I’m actually due the beginning of February with baby #3 but am hopeful I will go a bit early like my last 2. My first was due Oct 5 and was born sept 13 and youngest was due June 5 born May 27 so 🤞🏼
I'm Kiara, 29 years old, and married for 2.5 years. I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant. It's been a stressful couple of months as I've previously had two miscarriages, but excitement levels are slowly growing as the weeks pass and the nausea continues! Due Jan 16.
Hi fellow mamas to be! I’m Lindsay, 27, living in Charleston, SC and a first time mom to be. I’m due January 24th, and have had a brutal first trimester with the heat, humidity and being diagnosed with pregnancy induced hypothyroidism. I had half of my thyroid gland removed last year due to cancer, and so I have started on meds and am starting to feel somewhat normal again. Luckily, I’m a teacher so I have the summer off to sloth around. Props to all the working mamas or mamas with kids during the first trimester!
I suffered a MC exactly a year to month of my BFP (last May). We TTC for two years (no issues with hubby or myself) with one MC, so needless to say I am SO EXCITED to be a mom! We finally told our parents and close family the news, and I am so relieved to not be keeping in the secret. However, I am always paranoid and somewhat tainted from my MC, but it is starting feel more real! Excited to be a part of this club!
Hi everyone from a FTM in Virginia. Been lurking for awhile hoping not to jinx anything, but I’m full on second trimester now and so happy about the lower risk (not to mention less nausea and exhaustion). EDD is 1/2. Time to get excited (and overwhelmed by the registry, daycare waiting lists, hospital tours, name decisions, and the list goes on)!
I have also been just reading and not posting yet. First time older mom (just turned 39 last week) and just hit 12 wks. EDD is 1/25- ish. Still waiting on some bloodwork but 12 wk sonogram was great so we’re tentatively allowing ourselves to get super excited. :-) I cant complain about 1st trimester too much, I was nauseous 24/7 for like two weeks and then it slowly to faded to now it’s only occasionally.
Hi! My name is Alison. My husband and I have been married for 4 years (today is actually our anniversary!) and we are both 30 years old. This is our first pregnancy, and we are due on January 24. We found out yesterday that we are having a baby girl! We are so incredibly excited (and so is our dog, Olive)!
Hello! My name is Marissa and this is my first baby human and I have 3 fur babes! I’m 25 and this was a big surprise, but I am so excited. My due date is Jan 29. I am so over the first trimester and being constantly nauseous and ready to find out with my little Key Lime is! I think it will be a boy, along with the needle test and my entire family.
*stepping from creeper shadows* HI! I've been mostly lurking and popping up every now and then, but I'm going to follow my OBs advice and let myself get excited. It's not like holding myself apart from my pregnancy is going to keep me from being heartbroken if something goes wrong...I know this from experience. I was planning to wait until the NIPT came back sometime in the next week, but I was so excited to see my little Porg moving around in there and so happy that the MFM said everything looked perfect, I couldn't hold back.
I am from South Texas, and a HUGE The Lord of the Rings fan, and I'm lucky enough that my kids and SO are, too. I just turned 42 in March, and my partner will be 42 in October. We are high-school sweethearts re-united by pure chance. I hadn't seen or heard from him in 23 years when HIS friend mentioned to MY friend he needed a job and he showed up as a new hire, where I was the trainer. As soon as I recognized him, (it took about an hour) it was love at first sight all over again. I hugged him, and realized how much I'd missed him. And I knew this was different. We've been together since about a day later...but we make our anniversary the day we were reunited. We both had our fair share of dark and sad and trials and tragedy, but together, we're bringing out the best...and sometimes the worst in each other. And that's how it should be.
This is my fourth pregnancy, and will hopefully be my third child. I have two children from previous relationships. My son is 7 and very precocious and driving me bonkers. To call him a "pistol" would be to call a sperm whale a fish. My daughter is 23 and currently teaching English in China. I'm not proud of her or anything. OK, she's the bestest daughter anyone could ask for. As a TWO-TWO household, this baby will be the tie-breaker, so my SO is playfully hoping for a son, and DD and I are playfully hoping for a girl. Truthfully...we just want, happy, healthy, and normal.
