Upcoming Appointments: Tomorrow. I was hoping to not be going to that appointment, but I guess we'll see.
How are you feeling?: Hot and big and tired. Ready to meet this baby!
Rants/Raves: My coworkers are so nice and supportive. I'd rather not be working though. It's so much more exhausting than I assumed it would be.

GTKY: How are you beating the heat? 🥵 Basically just staying inside! And popsicles & slurpees!

Upcoming Appointments: Saw the OB this morning. Got hooked up to the fetal monitor for the second time - she's still looking like she's doing just fine! The monitor registers that I am having some contractions, even though I'm not feeling them. My cervical check showed that I'm about 75% effaced but barely a fingertip dilated. We made an induction plan - tomorrow evening we go the hospital to get started with a Cervidil insertion. We see what happens from there!
How are you feeling?: Excited to know we get to meet our LO soon, and I'm trying my best not to even give my nerves a chance to start up.
Rants/Raves: So thankful my parents arrived in town to be here. Very grateful for my DH.

GTKY: How are you beating the heat? Mostly staying indoors.... And eating cold things. Drinking lots of water too.
@mamanbebe I’m so glad you are feeling prepared! One less item of stress you don’t need.

Upcoming Appointments: we had a weight check today-still not great but have a new schedule that’ll hopefully move us increasing faster. Still waiting for him to poop.
How are you feeling?: good mostly thank MH is around for a bit longer because this is hard work!
Rants/Raves: rave: I have my baby rant: I’m starving! I swear I’m constantly eating I need to curb this habit soon I think it’s because there is actually room in my stomach now!
Questions: I don’t know if it’s a question but I have to bring up to MH the fact that I need to go into work for a morning next week I didn’t get everything done before I left and my substitutes don’t have all the information they need I’m nervous he’ll be annoyed but I can’t just not do it

Upcoming Appointments: Had a NST today and 38 week appt + ultrasound Friday. It will be my 3rd ultrasound in 3 weeks because of high fluid and a GIANT baby. *sigh*

Upcoming Appointments: Her 1 month well baby visit in 2 weeks
How are you feeling?: Really good! I'm not eating or drinking enough (I really need to up my water intake to help with my milk) but I'm feeling really good!
Rants/Raves: N is gaining so well and growing so quickly. She is already past her birth weight and has grown 3cm.

GTKY: How are you beating the heat? We put a large tent like shade in the back yard and we play with the hose a lot. Mostly though we're inside with the AC since it's too hot outside for N.

How are you feeling?: the simplest answer is I'm feeling done. The 39th week of pregnancy is about 40 days long I swear
Rants/Raves: feeling happy that all the big things are done off my checklist. Trying to spend my free time this week spending some quality alone time with my son before his sister gets here and diverts my attention

I'm totally not! This heat is kicking my butt! I'm not one for AC but this year it's my best friend. I've been enjoying some delicious homemade lemonade. Unfortunately my son is a lover of the outdoors so I'm basically bribing him constantly to stay indoors.

How are you feeling?: over it
Rants/Raves: the past couple of weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster. I'm over being huge and uncomfortable, but I know the longer she cooks the better. I hate everything, but am so grateful for everything. I'm ready to find a little more emotional stability!

Upcoming Appointments: BPP Friday with open invitation to induce, but I am going to decline
How are you feeling?: I'm off work and don't know what to do with myself.
Rants/Raves: My mom has been here for a full week because we really thought this baby was going to be early. At this point we are all kind of twiddling our thumbs waiting, and everyone keeps asking where the baby is. It's just a waiting game now, because I really want to avoid an induction. I hate to see my maternity leave tick away before baby is out, but in the grand scheme I guess it doesn't really matter.

GTKY: How are you beating the heat? Went to the pool today, and will probably be back every day this week. Drinking so much ice water my fridge ice maker can't keep up.
