Re: Weekly Randoms w/o 7/1

  • @inthewoods23 Oh no! That's the wooorst! At least you have TB to distract you!

  • @shoogapoff I am both listening (just so I know the story) and trying hard to not pay attention because stuff in DH's family tends to make my blood boil. It's drama I don't want to have to hear all the time.

It seems like neither side can act civil. Sigh.

  • I just read that post too...wow. 🙄
  • @chichiphin With my luck, she's probably really pregnant. 😒
  • @inthewoods We are up to episode four, which was so intense! I have been scheduling Stranger Things gifs along w/ my posts from the first two seasons on the social account I run haha.

@tyrion_ Um, what, wow! That's short notice!

I am getting ready to watch the women's world cup (alone, since i tried to invite someone but she didn't respond until ~12 hours after I texted her and was like "10am yikes I'm not normally up by then" & by then it was too late to invite anyone else w/out feeling like it was super short notice AND like it was silly to invite ppl over so early.) DH doesn't like watching sports really, so he's mowing the lawn and being grumpy about being sore. Hopefully the game will put me in a better mood. Go Team USA!

How do we decide who’s on the monthly grad check in thread? I know we had a lot of March grads that seem like they were around a lot longer than a month or so and that a lot of us probably would love to hear from, but that breaks the “rules”...?
  • Is that the July grad check in @b_1029?

    @puppylove8910 yes!

@tyrion_ ahhh have so much fun! Sorry for the late notice for the wedding and getting in so late.
  • I don't know the rules about it, but I was actually wondering why it wasn't posted yet😂 @b_1029

  • @b_1029 I would say that if we were to deviate from what has been past practice (those who are qualified to graduate via the weekly grad thread are those who wind up in the monthly grad thread, right?), it can't be random bc that would imply favoritism--there would have to be some other objective reason for including those who weren't qualified under the new graduation rules. ..... maybe the monthly grad thread goes by the old graduation rules? that seems like a lot of keep track of, though.

    ALSO. <3
  • @b_1029 where did you stay when you came to FL?
  • b_1029b_1029 member
@tyrion_ we were in Stuart! About 2 hours southeast of Orlando.

@mercury94 He told us Friday. My husband was like, “should we come orrrr?” So bizarre. He was happy we came but it was weird.

    Edit: spelling
  • @mercury94 That ad is really something 😂
  • b_1029b_1029 member
    Lol @tyrion_ that is amazing!
  • Informal poll: I just created a new baking, crafting, cooking thread.... should I add July 2019 to the title to encourage this to be something that gets posted a-new each month, yay or nay?
  • @kagesstarshroom I forget what it was called, but there used to be a thread for all sorts of creative things like painting, knitting, baking, etc. :)
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

Right??? Sometimes it's hard for me to keep up during the week, but then I finally opened it to catch up, and I'm like, whaaaa???  FOUR PAGES???? lmao.  Nevermind the footnotes, (pg. 1, see First Trimester, pg. 2 see Second Trimester,  pg. 4, see Grad thread) lol. But this is why we need the randoms!
