Work is very lax on what you wear to the office provided you don’t have meetings with the big bosses or public... and I mean, extremely lax.

Today, it’s going to be over 90 and they barely turn on the AC, so I am breaking my own personal rule and wearing shorts to work. Maternity crops suck, and I’ll be dying in jeans all day

@cmbt2 jealous! I need to invest in some maternity pants for work. I only have one pair from my last PG, since I was only big enough to need them for the last month of the school year and then took a year off, so didn't work in the fall. Won't be the case this time, and I won't be able to do the belly band/hair elastic trick at 8 months!

My confession this week is a funny one. I am not a fast runner, or a long distance runner, but I count myself in the "real runner" club* because I once had to stop a few minutes into a run and poop in a ditch. I was not close to home, and I wasn't going to go up to a stranger's house to ask to poop. So I crouched down in the tall weeds near a cow pasture, wiped as best I could with leaves, finished my run, and then went home and immediately washed all my clothes and took a long shower!

Brought you by a recent discussion about that superintendent who was caught a few years back pooping on the HS track during his morning runs.

*Although, let's be honest, if you go and try, you are a real runner, no matter how far or how fast.

@steminist that superintendent story still perplexes me. I need to know more details. Like did he just want to shit on the school (literally) or did he legitimately have to go and just couldn’t hold it anymore.

Confession: I'm about to take my bra off at work. Probably because I'm sick and cranky, but it's more uncomfortable today than it's ever been before.

It's either that or reach through my phone and throttle to death the next "scanner support" person from India who tells me nothing is wrong with the scanner I put a ticket in on. Cuz of course I've got nothing better to do with my day besides make up incidents.

@jal88144 Apparently, the coaches and students would regularly find poop the track around the football field. The police were surveiling it one morning and caught the guy just stopping mid-run!

Me too, alot of my shirts that Ive been wearing I can't wear a regular bra it has to be strapless and I've been so sore and actually breaking out. By lunch time I just want to let them free!!

Okay OU......While many of the movies before this one are stupid, Freddy vs Jason is one of my favorite horror movies.

UO: I don’t think people should ever lean their chairs back on a flight. I think it’s just rude. There’s already not enough room for anyone.

Ever?! I agree with this for flights under a certain duration. Say, 8 hours maybe. But I've been on several 10+ hour flights, and there's no way I would have survived without reclining.

I am frustrated when people lean their chairs back into me because I am so tall, my knees are already hitting the back of the chair in front of me. And when I try to lean back, it feels like one centimeter, which can be such a letdown.

@quidditchcapn1120 I always want to lean my seat back, but I never do because I know I wouldn't like someone to do it to me. I did, however, do it once when I was nearly bawling my eyes out because my ears wouldn't pop and my asthma was getting the best of me (I was getting a cold going from 10° to 85° back to 0° for my honeymoon, but I was in too much pain at the time to realize that), but I was only trying to rest.

That being said, I agree with @galentine that there are exceptions.

@quidditchcapn1120 I agree sooooo much!!! It is so rude and drives me insane! I'm flying in a few weeks and have thought about it because I really want to lay my seat back because flying 30 weeks pregnancy and it sucks sitting straight up because I can't breathe. But I'll be nice and won't do it. The flight's only 2.5 hours, I'll survive!

Well here’s my FFFC then...if the person in front of my reclines their chair...then so do I. Im not going to be miserable just to be polite. It’s sad that airlines care more about cramming more and more people into a small space to make more money and make us uncomfortable in the process.

The only time I won’t recline my seat is if I’m in the second to last row and the people behind me can’t recline theirs (due to being up agains the wall)

I was a flight attendant for many years and because of flight benefits have been on hundreds of flights. I’ve never once seen it be an issue ℓσℓ

I will say on the international flights I’ve been on, there is a good amount of room and this hasn’t been an issue. But on the 2 hour flight to Orlando I just want to tap Karen on the shoulder and tell her to sit her damn seat up.

Please don’t be offended if you are named Karen. Haha
