wow its 0800 EST and i'm first up! must be a holiday or something

R/R: working the holiday, womp womp. only okay thing about working a holiday is that everyone else at work is working too. hoping we can make the best of it! in terms of TTC i'm trying to figure out what other things i can throw at myself. thinking adding Fertilaid and maybe buying the digital CB OPKs. grateful tho bc this FW is coming at a convenient time at once!

R/R: I’m excited for the super long weekend! I’m heading to the beach this weekend to see my college best friend. So excited!

CS/Q: I started dipping OPKs this morning. Do you guys do twice a day from the start or do you dip once until it’s darker and then add a second time?

R/R: pumped to have the day off work today. I / we really need to be productive around the house. DH just brought me breakfast in bed and the dog is laying with me, so it’s a pretty good morning!

CS/Q: got the same exact temp as yesterday. Weird. Also had a little blood in my cm last night so I’m hoping that’s normal?

R/R: Happy 4th ladies!! I hope everyone has a great day planned. Morning HIO EOD has been going great and now we're off from work for the next four days so I'm hoping I O soon. Still getting a high reading on my OPK, but feeling some O pain twinges on the LEFT (yay!) and my CM is beginning to change. Hoping for a peak reading tomorrow or Saturday!

@tyrion_ Have an awesome weekend! I switched from twice a day to once a day because I found I was getting too obsessive and I haven’t missed a positive yet.

Month/Cycle: 11/11

WAYDTGKU: Ava, OPK, Acupuncture, Chinese herbs

R/R: One more day off so I’m headed for a girls day at the spa. I went all out and booked a 90 min massage and it is soooo needed. The gastro yesterday was wonderful and answered all my questions but handed me a stack of lab reqs on top of all the fertility ones I have to do. He said the damage on the scope was quite severe so it could take a while to heal. I’m going to meet with dietician though, so hopefully that will help!

@sevenn I'm sorry you have to work today! Regarding trying new things, have you considered Pre Seed? I've had luck with it before and I'm pretty sure @MrsVP614 just incorporated it into her most recent cycle (& that turned out great!).

@tyrion_ I begin dipping 2x/day once I notice the line darkening a bit and when I'm getting more body signals. CM changes and O twinges.

@b_1029 Breakfast in bed sounds lovely! I'm not sure about the blood bit...? If you have been having sex a bunch maybe it's from that? Like a scratch on your cervix or something. I'm sorry, I'm no help!

@tyrion_ have fun at the beach! I will typically start once a day then as it starts getting closer I dip twice a day. I found I actually first get my peak in afternoon/evening.

@b_1029 ooohh breakfast in bed. That's something I'll never have because I make the best eggs and bacon 🙄😂

R/R: I’m gonna lay by the pool today and I cannot wait! Our office is also closed tomorrow so I’m so excited for this 4 day weekend!

@tyrion_ have a great time at the beach! This is only my second cycle using OPKs but I started with one strip a day and when the line started getting darker I did 2.

@tyrion_ I dip once a day until I get to one of the days before my prev. O days OR if it looks slightly darker, then I also dip at night. Hope that helps!

@b_1029 I had "ovulation bleeding" one cycle--super faint amount of blood in my cm. I was like "um, WHAT is this?" but then I looked it up &... it's a thing! Are you around a date that could be yr O date?

@tyrion_ i pretty much just dip OPK in the afternoon once, and that seems to catch my blazer. although clearly my data was off somewhere last cycle with my 17 day LP. regarding softcups, I put them in after about the 15 min of laying down. super romantic.
@puppylove8910 i might as well pick some up! could probably add some to the soft cup and "apply" it that way

R/R: Wacky BIL is visiting (he got in this morning). He is the mid 40s and complainy one I discussed yesterday. Wants kids but been in only LTR. In finance but hates his job. He has been in good spirits so far. We went on a walk on the trail this morning. We are going to sneak some tequila on the ferry in a sippy cup, tomorrow 😂 It will be a hot day on the island with not a lot of shade, but should be fun!

I hope everyone who drinks enjoys a cool one today, we earned it!

Yes. So, I started Mucinex 2x a day CD 10. I didnt notice a difference until CD 14, when I had super slippery CM.

Quick question. I got a high OPK reading with FMU today and decided to POAS just now because my left side is feeling more crampy. Got my peak! And the line is definitely darker. So for FF, should I change it to peak, right?

Would O day most likely be tomorrow then? We're doing SMEP and HIO this morning. So we should BD tomorrow morning and possibly Saturday morning too, right?

@puppylove8910 It says in the FF guidelines to record your MOST fertile CM for the day--I imagine that works for OPKs, too? IDK if there's an OPK advanced option for AM/PM though in terms of peak/etc., but if there is you could record both? I only use the cheapies, so I haven't investigated that sort of option.

O is 12-48 hours after +OPK, according to internet lore, but there's no way to tell until after you've O'd that you've O'd, so HIO as much as possible between now and when you confirm O!

Happy Independence Day, ladies!
I'm out of limbo and setting up camp here for a while. S'mores, anyone?

Month/Cycle: 12/11(1st cycle after 2nd loss)

CD: 1

WAYDTGKU: Prenatal vitamins, Fertility Friend, temping, OPKs, observing CM, whatever else I can do at this point I will do it!

R/R: *TW* loss

My RE's office confirmed yesterday that I had a chemical pregnancy and AF arrived in full force this afternoon. Way to ruin ANOTHER holiday for me, uterus. I am ok though. I had that gut feeling that this time wasn't going to work out. I am more angry than anything. I go back in for bloodwork again tomorrow morning and I will ask if there's any indication of why I couldn't stay KU. They haven't shared any results of my initial bloodwork with me except for the CF and SMA screening.

Very low-key day at the Emerald house, I celebrated the holiday by reading historical fiction about the British monarchy. I also exercised my right to the pursuit of happiness by going to the craft store.

CS/Q: Nope. Might wait until AF is over and try temping vaginally. I really hope the RE doesn't bench us. I will be pissed if she does.

@misshelen86 I hope you enjoyed every minute of your massage! Sorry for all the labs you have to do now. Bloodwork is never fun. The techs at my RE's office laugh at me because I come in sucking down a 24 oz bottle of water (the more hydrated I am the easier it is since my veins suck) then make a mad dash for the ladies' room as soon as they finish the blood draw. I hope that the dietician can help with getting on the path to healing fast.

@jennifer_louise thank you, friend. 💚 They said we need to finish all testing before a follow up appointment. I do understand that we can't come up with a treatment plan until we know as much as possible, but it would be nice to know what they've learned so far. Hopefully I can get my saline ultrasound next week and be a step closer to a plan.
