First, I’m starving and that waffle looks amazing!

My realtor is a total twat waffle. Like massive! He’s seriously the worst and has been all talk. His communication SUCKS, he’s flaky, lies, overpriced our house, has no sense of urgency, etc. etc. etc. I’m extra pissy about it because if he was on top of everything, our house would be closing on time to sell. My husband finally called the escrow company to figure out what was going and they said they hadn’t even heard from our realtor. Anyways, I could go on and on but he is my current twat waffle and needed to vent!

@blackcat01 that sounds like a nighmare. We just bought our first house and our realtor was the exact opposite and it was still a stressful situation. I couldn't imagine dealing with a bad realtor on top of selling/buying a house stress.

@stashattack I’m glad you had a great experience since that changes everything! Soon, it should all be over and we can finally relax. When we bought our house, we used our friend who is a wonderful realtor who just goes the extra mile. I would have used him to sell in a heartbeat, but he isn’t familiar with our area to sell.

@blackcat01 oh that's the worst. I had a similar experience when we were trying to buy land last year. We used the same realtor who sold our house even though the house literally sold itself. She did nothing but the paperwork. I asked her before if she had ever dealt with land before which was a whole other ballgame, she avoided the question and insisted she would be more than capable of helping us buy land. Well, it became pretty apparent that she had no clue what she was doing, she was new which I later found out. I ended up doing her job for her and ended up chewing her out. It wasn't pretty. Thankfully the first property we saw fell through so when that contract was null we switched realtors. I still get pissed thinking about it. I hope he gets his act together soon. Have you tried contacting the company he works for to file a complaint? I know you're probably under contract so can't switch but something needs to light a fire under his ass.

Today's twat waffle goes to MH. I don't know what crawled up his butt but he was in a bad mood yesterday and as soon as I walked in the door took it all out on me. Just complaining about random shit and blaming me for silly things. Sir, I am pregnant and emotional, I cannot deal with your attitude. I had to just walk away and try to avoid him the rest of the evening. Of course he slinked into bed asking if I hated him. No, I don't hate you, but I don't particularly like you right now either! To be fair, poor guy hasn't gotten any action from me since we found out and I've been super lazy (because of exhaustion) the past couple months so I'm trying to remind myself that he's been doing extra lately, but whatever, I'm playing the pregnancy card. This first tri has been exhausting, and it's my first time, this is all new to me. So yea, MH is a twat waffle right now.

My twat Waffle goes to the jack ass who decided he was cool enough to cut the drive thru line at chick-fil-a and go in front of the 10 other cars in line. There’s literally 10 or so signs saying to circle the building to get in line and it’s hard to miss the massive amount of cars, but please feel free to get ahead of all of us because your speshul. Then he proceeded to sit on his phone the entire time so he wouldn’t actually pull up until someone honked. I realize this is first world problems, but I’m pregnant, wanted my damn frozen coffee and fries and my 4 year old, who just got shots, wanted his damn milkshake. No cutsies, back of the line.

Accounts Payable and Student Financial Services are my Twat Waffles for today. They keep meeting, making changes to policies about student payments, and then just not disseminating that information down until I get rejections back from my payment requests for stipends to students. This BS has been going on for the last 2 months and I've had it. So I just reamed them all out over email telling them how you can't just make changes that affect the university as a whole and not disseminate these decisions down to the people who put the requests in. Because how are we supposed to know you made a change without telling us??

And for the second time in a row when this issue comes out, the head of SFS is out on vacation so I won't be able to get an answer out of her until freaking next week. But I guess that's better for her so I don't freaking wring her neck right now. Pregnancy anger is real.

@peppyj9 I feel you. When DH gets moody recently all he brings up is the extra weight he's pulling around, and how much i'm not working out. Excuse me. I'm growing YOUR spawn mister. I get to feel like shit and pull the I feel like shit card. I'm trying to do as much as I can.

Ooo I'll add my cervix during sex has been a TW recently. Definitely can't go as deep or a sharp pain happens. UGH so rude. I mean it used to happen sometimes before pregnancy, but now it's happening like every time and it's a bitch for sure.

@peppyj9 my was like that on Saturday. He kinda ruined the festival with his grumpy attitude. Hope yh gets his act together. I get being in a bad mood or stressed, but unnecessary to dump it all on you.

@peppyj9 That sounds terrible and sort of similar. My realtor said all these wonderful things and promised this and that, but couldn’t deliver. We are about to close, so once that’s done I would like my chew out session and move on! I’m sorry your hubby was so snippy at you! That just sucks, and not that it justifies it, but I’m sure he just had a lot going on and maybe hit a little bit of a breaking point. I’m sure he will feel bad soon if he doesn’t already! It’s not like we are choosing to feel like crap and to hardly do anything!

@kbrown2385 We had a 90 day contract and we are pretty much about to close. Plus, he paid for a couple things up front that we owe him for and can’t pay him until the house sells, so I felt stuck. Anyways, it’ll be done soon!

I would have totally lost it if some jerk cut in line like that. I seriously would have to hold back from getting out of the car and screaming at the person, not that you could leave your car lol Also, maybe not the best idea anyway. I love Chick-fil-a so much, you actually reminded me of how delicious their food is and I’ve always wanted to try their frozen coffee. Maybe this weekend...

@stashattack ugh, sorry you're dealing with student payment stuff. That would be so frustrating! Also, the cervix thing is exactly why I'm scared to have sex. I don't want pain or to deal with scary spotting. I'll give it a try once I hit the 2nd tri because as @kbrown2385 said, pregnancy sex is supposed to be fun!

@kbrown2385 there's almost nothing that makes me more mad than people thinking they can pull shit like that. I mean I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, like maybe they were just oblivious but uggh sometimes it's so blatantly rude and then I lose it. I can't imagine trying to keep it under wraps while pregnant.

I'll say we actually haven't tried sex yet again since we found out. Mostly because I have just not felt like being close to anyone or anything.

Also,I think it's a little psychological. I know sex doesn't cause miscarriage and i am a scientist so I believe data but I bled and then miscarried after sex in my first pregnancy. Totally not related I know since I know that the baby wasn't developing right but it makes me nervous anyway.

@blackcat01 buying/selling a house is always stressful. Sorry this has been extra bad for you!

I totally get the whole not having sex mentality. There are plenty of thinks that make me think irrationally even though I know it has nothing to do with any of my losses. Like I don’t like taking medications, even Tylenol, or getting flu shots (I got one at 6 weeks during my first pregnancy and it ended in a loss. I’ll forever link them together and I can’t help it.)

peppyj9 I wholeheartedly believe men are the weaker species. They get in a funk for no reason. My husband blames me for the silliest shit, and then proceeds to do the same silly shit but if I say something then I'm the asshole. He also told me that pregnancy brain is not a thing....
@kbrown2385 in my town mom group there was a 200 long comment thread about drive thrus and whether or not it was okay to take your time while ordering and ask a bazillion questions. It was the most interesting thread of the month. And, it was about Chick Fil A.

I am in the same irrational thought boat. I had sex the night before my loss and of course that's all I could think about. And @kbrown2385 I also hate taking any kind of meds. Good news though, we are almost out of the first tri....one week and counting!

I'm kind of being a TW this week. I teach summer school and the kids are wearing me thin. I feel like shit everyday and they ask the laziest questions. I may or may have not told multiple kids to stop, think, and figure it out yourself.

@justsuzie Yep, this guy is pretty much the negative stereotype of realtors. I feel like the better rated they are online, the crappier they are in performance. Go figure, he’s rated the top realtor in my area. Lesson learned!

@biolprof I just wanted to add you're not alone. If I'm being honest we probably wont have sex for the entire pregnancy. It's 100% psychological for me but it makes me feel like something bad will come from it. Thank goodness my husband understands how I feel and deals with it.

@justsuzie Lol. I am teaching summer school too and have been doing that many times this week. Thank goodness it is a short week (for both me and the kids.)

TWs this week were men working across the street calling out to me saying "hello beautiful" while I watered the trees in the front yard. It was a rare moment of peace from our very intense toddler and they totally ruined it. They see visibly pregnant me getting out of the car all of the time with my husband and daughter so I am clearly unavailable. I really don't know what goes through people's heads that do that to clearly unavailable and uninterested women.

@mispanda Thanks! It's nice to know it's not just me. We're not ruling it out but DH has been super patient and understanding and would be fine if I wasn't ready too.

@peppyj9 I guess that's why you can't trust the ratings. I had a young realtor and I think she was eager to please so it worked for us. Maybe the hot shots get too big for their britches.

We call parents of kids currently entering college lawn mower parents. We literally have to extract the parents so they don't do everything for the kid. Most of my job is like making them fully functioning independent adults....and maybe teach some biology along the way. Seriously I make it my mission since I teach a lot of pre-meds to try not to allow them to be sucky doctors who are real people with real brains but I can only do so much....rant over 😂
