  • My house is a freaking mess and I don’t feel well enough to clean it and be a fun mom.  I work weekends, so the mess was not created by me and I have had to restrain myself multiple times from not text my husband something snarky about him being a slob.  Ugh.  First world problems.
  • @daffodil_shoe they are closed the whole week?! I’m all for celebrating holidays but it seems like the 4th is getting really stretched out this year!! Many appointments and things I’ve tried to schedule this week are closed!
  • @char245 yep, it’s their “summer break.”

@DDRRT1982 omg I feel you. I hate when I come home from a weekend shift, and DH hasn’t bothered to do a single thing, and the living room is trashed with toys.
  • So no one but my husband and I know I'm pregnant again. But this weekend my grandparents, cousins and sister mentioned how it is a good thing I am done having kids because now I can just focus on the three kids I have. Like what does that even mean? I most definitelydon't neglect my effing kids, I do nothing but care and entertain them 24/7.
  • Well, anger filled text sent to DH.  His geriatric cat shit in my kid’s drawer, so ya, I didn’t hold back.
  • @DDRRT1982. Solidarity....I have a 16-year old, diabetic cat that has poop “accidents” weekly now.  My suitcase was his last victim 🤬. I’m not sure if he just can’t get to the litter box fast enough, or if he’s being spiteful in his old age....it blows.

  • @brookert615  Why does it matter to them what you decide to spend your money on?  And also, if getting the earlier US helps with your anxiety than I would think they would support it if they’re “so concerned”.   I don’t understand why people can’t see that everyone handles life differently and the best thing they can do is just support a friend....it seems so silly to be judgemental about it.  Do what makes you happy.  😘

  • @Pgh_Kel I totally agree! I honestly regret bringing it up. I thought they would just be like "how exciting" but the reaction was ridiculous. I agree - it's something so silly. Thanks for saying all of that :).

  • @brookert615 ugh people need to keep their opinions to themselves. Unfortunately, it probably will not be the last time you get rude, unsolicited comments or advice now that you are pregnant, which will continue right on thru having that kiddo! My father in law’s comments about me not being able to do a med free labor with my first actually fueled me into making sure I did it. Lol. People need to mind their business. If the US makes you feel better, do it.
  • @therealbitts. WOW, just wow to your FIL’s comments!!  Good for you for proving him wrong!!

  • @therealbitts Thank you for saying that! I'm so happy to hear you say that you proved you FIL wrong! Funny thing is the same friend told me I would want meds because I said that I wanted to be med free as well! Thank you!!!

@therealbitts or how bout when you talk about doing a mess free labor and they start on with the horror stories about their births? Gtfo 😂

@brookert615 it’s easy for people that aren’t in your shoes to judge. Sorry DH didn’t have your back - the men just aren’t invested as much at this point. Wait until he sees that little heartbeat- things will change!

  • @brookert615 Sounds like people not to talk to about baby things! I can never decide if childless people giving parenting advice annoys me more, or if people who failed at things I am attempting telling horror stories annoys me more. Tell anyone in the world you plan to exclusively cloth diaper from birth... Honestly no one else's limitations are your limitations and you're free to do absolutely whatever TF you want. Judgmental comments are about the commenter being judgmental and have nothing to do with you.

I'm just here to b!tch about my back. It hurts. I'm annoyed. Apparently everything is overdoing it these days. Sigh. I wish I'd have gotten in better shape before getting pregnant. I have a feeling I'm going to be walking the line of what my current abilities are for the rest of the pregnancy. Boooooooooooo!

  • @craftywitch Yes! Thank you so much! So sorry about your back! Hope you're able to heal quickly!  <3

  • At work I got stuck doing the one job I hate. My coordinator told me last time that im the only one who has a problem doing the job when I came up with a suggestion on how to make it better. And then everyone else seemed to gang up on me saying they dont have an issue... Blah blah blah. I am unfortunately short and not tall like them, and the other short people wont speak up. So today I was like idgaf because I already threw up twice this morning, I'll take my sweet time. Boy did she get antsy when the line was backed up. Although i seriously got frustrated to the point i had to hold back tears. I hate that job.
  • I am so tired. And, my two year old has decided to she can’t stand to be apart from me. She woke up at 6 this morning! SIX! And wouldn’t go back to sleep. At naptime she slept for 45 minutes, just long enough for me to almost fall asleep myself, and then refused to go back into her crib even though she went to sleep instantly when I picked her up. I’m now trapped under my sleeping toddler, hoping I’m doing the right thing... I’m hoping maybe if she’s well rested she will sleep in longer tomorrow. Or you know, I could just be reinforcing this behavior  :#

Oh mama, 6am is sleeping in for us!! 5:15am wake up here. Weve been having quiet time for the past hour in my bed. I’m exhausted.

Can’t tell if you’re being facetious, but they are quite messy actually! We just use constant suction and lap sponges 😉 On more than one occasion amniotic fluid has flown everywhere 😆

You poor thing! We usually sleep until 7:30. Well, one of mine sleeps until 7:30 and the other until 6:30. They take turns sleeping in and waking at 6:30. They’ve made a pact to never let me sleep.
  • @doodleoodle and @jessieR358 I feel your pain! We used to be a 5:15 family but DD has been consistently getting later over the last year!! She now gets up around 7 every day, totally doable! However, just for fun it was a 6am day today  :#
  • The 4 year old is currently sound asleep so I’m sure it’s going to be a fun battle getting him to bed tonight  :#
  • @jessieR358 I accidentally let my 3.5 year old nap 4 hours today. I feel your pain. At least we’ll have each other 😂

@daffodil_shoe I was being facetious although I wouldn’t have known about any mess because I was just trying to keep from throwing up the whole time. I hope I don’t have to go through that again!!
