  • I remember doing these every week back when I had my first mc in 2016 and thought it might be fun to do again.

    1. NMC 12/2016, CP 7/2018
    2. WTO CD8
    3. Rant-I have to go back to work tomorrow. It's been sooo nice having time off since my surgery, I really don't understand why they won't just keep paying me to stay home...rude
Rave-I just made some bomb ass chicken tacos for dinner 😋
4.bbqing at my sister's house! We get together as often as possible and just visit amd spend time outside with our families.

  •  Introduce yourself: Hello, I am new here. It’s nice to meet everyone. I have had two miscarriages-9/2014 and April 2019.
    2. Status: We are waiting for my RE to give us the green light. I am having to have a small surgery and hopefully we can start trying in July or August
    3. Rant:It drives me crazy that sometimes my RE is great about returning phone calls and other times I have to call them multiple times to get a response. Rave: I am a teacher and I am enjoying taking naps in the afternoon.
4.GTKY: My favorite things about summer is lazy days....one minute my family and I are swimming in the pool and the next watching movies.
  • I like this! another way for us all to get to know each other. nice idea, @splashmountain
    1. Introduce yourself (if new)- not new, but: incomplete MC with D&C march 2019
    2. Status? TWW, 3rd cycle AL
    3. R/R: I am so behind on work! I got behind after my MC and then moving didn't help but now we're reaching the end of the academic year so i'll probably be up the next few nights trying to catch up on everything. Good news is, I have half of thursday and all of friday off so thankfully i'll have a chance to rest once I'm done!
4.GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? getting soft-serve ice cream cones, and hanging out at the pool

@Mamaof2beautifulgirls so jealous of those naps!

  • @Mamaof2beautifulgirls gl with your upcoming surgery and it drives me nuts when doctors don't get back to me too!

@manillabar yay for a short week! I hope the next few days fly by and you get tons of work done
  • 1. Introduce yourself (if new) not new. MC 8/2016, 3/2017, and 12/2017
    2. Status? Need to talk to DH I think we will end up going NTNP
    3. R/R: I can’t wait for vacation next week!
4.GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? Just being outside in the sunshine.

@splashmountain good idea to bring this back!
  • @Mack2342 have fun on vacation next week!
  • Thanks for bringing these back. I've missed them
    1. Not new. MC Apr 2017, July 2017, Oct 2017 and Apr 2019
    2. Self benched. Not sure what's going on with my body right now. 2 normal cycles after d&c then AF arrived on CD14. Waiting for blood test results
    3. I'm part of a large volunteer organization and we do amazing things but there's one thorn in our side who just constantly nitpicks and tries to bring us down. It's exhausting when we are all just volunteers.
    4. Bring on lazy lake days. And please no forest fires.
  • I love this!

    1. Introduce yourself (if new) Not new - 5 losses, 2 CP's and 3 MMC's.
    2. Status? Self-benched. IVF consult Thursday and hope to move forward with IVF prep/ER next cycle.
    3. R/R: It's hot and yucky, and making lunch time running impossible. I've been going at 9:00, which seems a little inappropriate since I'm at work. So far no one has complained, so...🤷‍♀️
4.GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? Having my windows and doors open in the evening. I hate hot summer days but love warm summer nights.

  • 1. Introduce yourself (if new): 2 MMC's 2/19 and 6/19
    2. Status? Benched waiting on testing(Fetal tissue and Genetics on me)
    3. R/R: My D&C almost 2 weeks ago was incomplete so I had to take Miso last Friday, go back to RE tomorrow to check and confirm progress. I am really hoping this part is almost over. I just want to move on and get my test results back and come up with a plan forward.
4.GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? Swimming, water parks, BBQing.

  • @hanshotfirst77 Once I committed to IVF, all my reservations went out the window and I became really excited. I still have anxiety about whether I'll produce any good eggs, but otherwise I'm really optimistic. I hope you feel the same way if you go down that road.
  • @ruby696 I’m glad to hear you are in such a good place with it. After my doc brought it up, I started doing my research. I still have a lot of questions and probably need to wait on some test results to know how to best go about it. But I think I’ve come to terms with it and think it’s my best chance at getting and staying pregnant. I’m excited to hopefully move forward soon and have a plan. Fx for us both!

  • 1. Introduce yourself: Early loss May 2019

    2. Status: WTO CD 3, 2/2 AL

    3. R/R:*TW parent loss* Today marks a year since we lost my dad. This whole week was rough and emotional but today has been pretty good.

4.GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? I feel like living in Florida nothing really changes for us. It’s an eternal summer here. Except In June, July and August I can get third degree burns from my seatbelt buckle. But that’s not my favorite activity 😂

@splashmountain Hope your first day back isn’t too rough. And it’s Friday! (Unless you work weekends then never mind).

    @Mamaof2beautifulgirls hope surgery goes well!

@manillabar Here’s to hoping  you’re not as far behind as you think and you catch up quickly.

@Mack2342 Are you going anywhere next week or just taking time off?

@40momma I hope you get some answers soon.

@ruby696 I went for a run at 10am today and nearly went down when I got home. It’s so dang hot. Hope your consult next week goes well. I’m excited for you!

@hanshotfirst77 I hope tomorrow goes well and you can put this behind you.

    Edit: spelling
  • @tyrion_ no I don't work weekends so yay for Friday tomorrow! And I'm sorry for the anniversary of the loss of your dad. That has to be hard, sending hugs your way.

@tyrion_ I'm so sorry about your dad. I can't imagine how hard the week had been for you. My consult is being moved due to an insurance issue. So I'm hoping for mid-July.

  • @Mamaof2beautifulgirls Glad to hear surgery went well. Hoping you have a restful weekend and easy recovery.

@ruby696 Dang, that sucks. I’m sorry. Insurance is so frustrating.
  • @Mamaof2beautifulgirls glad surgery went well.

@ruby696 sorry about your appointment being pushed back.
  • Can I have another rant? I was planning to make apricot jam this weekend and my coworker brought me a huge bag full of apricots (at least 10 lbs) and I forgot them at work! They were super ripe too so I'm sure they'll be no good when I go back to work on Monday. So I had to go to the farmers market and pay for my apricots like I was planning to do in the first place  :D
  • @splashmountain that stinks, but it sounds like something I would do too! 😆 I bet your homemade jam will be awesome! Yum yum!!!
