Upcoming Appointments: i have my 12 week appointment tomorrow. i have to attend the endocrine clinic due to gd in my previous pregnancy which is a tuesday afternoon but there is also a chance that i'll have to attend a multiples clinic on a wednesday afternoon too. the clinic is usually a few hours long and i will see a number of different consultants etc during it.
How are you feeling?: still sick and tired. im constantly hungry but nothing sounds appealing and sometimes have to force myself to eat to get rid of the queasiness.
Rants/Raves: We got back from italy late on friday night, on saturday we had dd's swimming lesson in the morning, then a christening in the afternoon which was 2 hours away & ended up just going to stay in my parents house on saturday night, which meant that we didnt get back home til 9pm last night. the house is a bombsite & i have no holiday washing done or suitcases unpacked and i have a hectic week in work with site visits and meetings etc so have no idea when i will get time to do anything!

Upcoming Appointments: second midwife apt on the 16th. I am meeting with a potential Doula on the 3rd since my previous Doula has gone into midwifery.
How are you feeling?: Feeling better, super bloated by the end of the day. Also before bed I'm starting to get restless leg syndrome again. Still feeling some nausea at times
Rants/Raves: By the end of the day my bloat is so noticeable, I was at a bridal shower yesterday and had to tell my family there since it was so obvious.

GTKY: What’s your favorite time of year (season, holiday, etc.)? Definitely love the fall/winter season so many fun things to do around then, the mood is always happy leading up to Christmas. I just hate the period after new years all the way to about april/may hahaha.

How are you feeling?so much better over the last week; less nausea and fatigue but still some waves here and there
Rants/Raves: we just told all my nieces and nephews about their new cousin and they are just so excited!! Feeling excited that we’re approaching the end of first trimester.

GTKY: What’s your favorite time of year (season, holiday, etc.)? Thanksgiving ! Food and eating together is a big part of my family’s culture and it’s just such a wonderful time we see get together and appreciate one another.

How are you feeling?: soooo bloated and easily full. Also I have been sneezing a lot, not sure what that's all about.
Rants/Raves: I'm pretty sure I have round ligament pain and it hurts so much! The other day I sneezed and audibly whimpered/whined for a good minute.

Upcoming Appointments: Just had my second ultrasound today! Measured 2 days larger, so estimated due is Jan 1, but they didn't change my actual due date. OB intake /doctor appointment is Friday.
How are you feeling?: Either hungry or exhausted. I'm really exhausted right now.
Rants/Raves: After our US today, my husband said that he thought baby was cute already. Great to see the love instincts already kicking in!
Questions: Anyone else worried about the amount of stuff that comes with a kid? Feeling like I need to purge a bunch of stuff of my own before our new arrival. Getting inspiration from the minimalist mom on YouTube! Do you recommend other inspiring content for living a clutter free life with kids?
GTKY: What’s your favorite time of year (season, holiday, etc.)? I love August when there are blackberries growing everywhere in the PNW. I also love shopping during Easter. Can't get over all the cute bunny stuff.

How are you feeling?: Like a human again! It's weird. Still exhausted, though. I'm also getting some RLP; it starts a lot earlier than the internet would have you believe.
Rants/Raves: Just so happy to be through the first 12 weeks. I've always seen that as a big milestone.

How are you feeling?: Slowly improving. Not as nauseous or tired. I am having a lot of food aversions still and nothing sounds appetizing to me.
Rants/Raves: My company cancelled our short term disability with the previous carrier and is now offering a new one during open enrollment. The plan is better, but I wont be able to use it since it has pre-existing conditions limitations. I'm kinda really pissed since this messes up our financial situation for during maternity leave

Upcoming Appointments: tomorrow, I'll be able to hear the heartbeat finally. Sometimes I think there's nothing in there so I'm excited.
How are you feeling?: Overall well, no more nausea for the past few weeks, boobs are becoming less tender except for right when I wake up. My hormones though, I just have no tolerance for dumb shit now so I'm easily irritated and feistier.
Rants/Raves: Yooo, these hormones make me bitchy. 😬 However my skin is doing pretty well.
