How are you feeling?: Super nauseous. Got sick for the first time this morning.
Rants/Raves: The thought of all food makes me queasy, but no strong food aversions yet.
Questions: Anyone have any skin care products they avoided? I didn't know I needed to do that. I use Olay products and Ulta brand makeup.
GTKY: What’s your favorite time of year (season, holiday, etc.)? Christmas is my favorite holiday, but I enjoy different parts of each season.

How are you feeling?: Nauseated, super sore boobs, fatigued, and just started feeling lightheaded! But grateful to have symptoms because I’m still in disbelief lol.
Rants/Raves: Had a good birthday weekend! I took today off a long time ago because I thought I’d still be recovering from my 30th 😂.

@glynch0303 I’m not doing anything different with my skin products. But I have mostly all natural for the most part. I think you’re fine with makeup but I think there’s something with anti-aging products? Maybe some of the other ladies might know for sure!

How are you feeling?: Constant mild nausea, sore boobs, exhausted and thirsty all of the time.
Rants/Raves: It is very hard not to share the news with anyone but because of my history I am waiting until after my ultrasound next week. I get nervous every time I am around my parents because I am waiting for them to offer me wine (which I never say no to lol).

GTKY: What’s your favorite time of year (season, holiday, etc.)? I love the fall, the cool (hoodie) weather and the smell of leaves. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving.

How are you feeling?: Just sore breasts so far. No nausea yet. Honestly praying for some other symptoms, like nausea, LOL. Last time around I MC'd before I got to the nausea stage. I'm a little worried history is repeating itself.
Rants/Raves: went to a 4 year old's birthday party over the weekend and my husband was a hit with all the kids! He's going to be such a great Dad.
Questions: FTM here. What is something you wish you would have known the first time around, or something that surprised you? Anything at all regarding pregnancy, childbirth, Motherhood, etc.
GTKY: What’s your favorite time of year (season, holiday, etc.)? Spring! We have long, snowy, and frigid winters in MN. Everyone is happier when Spring finally arrives.

@malloryfrommn I was surprised by the fear culture surrounding birth. The horror stories and negative reactions to my birth plan were not expected the first time around. I combatted those narratives by internalizing positive and empowering birth stories from Ina May's books and the Birth Without Fear blog. I also took extensive birthing classes which I highly recommend. At least for me education and knowledge kick fear to the curb.

How are you feeling?: Better! I got my nutrition under control and my bloating has gone down so my pants fit again. Only mildly nauseated, sore boobs still, super sense of smell, sleeping 10-12hrs daily from exhaustion, a few weepy crying spells happy and sad, low back extra achey, but overall getting life done and feeling upbeat.
Rants/Raves: All I have to say is that Wednesday there had better be a heartbeat on that U/S! I know it would have just started beating so we may be too early, but I really really need to see it!
Questions: Has anyone spoken to a prenatal dietician or does your OB/MW offer referrals to nutrition specialists? I was chatting with a woman who is an LC/ dietician for pregnant and nursing mothers and she had some very interesting things to say that contradict the common narratives here on TB. I'd be interested to get a second opinion/perspective and also hear what others have been told.
GTKY: What’s your favorite time of year (season, holiday, etc.)? Fall and Mabon/Samhain! Give me all the hand-knit weather, hot coffee and cider, and freshly baked bread and squash soups!

How are you feeling?: Mostly mild symptoms, feel like I'm gaining weight and showing already, especially in the chest area (which i guess if it is twins that makes sense my body might be in overdrive) Just started getting nausea on and off throughout the day, and actually threw up a little this morning.
Rants/Raves: Just super excited the last ultrasound went well, it was the first happy ultrasound I've ever had.

How are you feeling?: well I’m currently in St. John so pretty amazing. Hanging with DS and DH at the beach for the past 2 days. Sadly I have MS that peaks around 3-4 PM and I’m breaking out horribly. But we took a pretty cute announcement pic with DH in the sand so that’s exciting. We generally announce pretty early (we probably will around 8 weeks).

eta: weight loss is calories in calories out. You just use more calories when pregnant because you are growing a baby. I give my 2 year old 2% - was told by the doctor no more whole milk. Why wouldn’t that be accepted here?

@burr1371 I look for zinc oxide sun blocks rather than sun screens, but definitely opt for sunscreen and not against- I burn faster while pregnant and the hyper pigmentation is real (aka pregnancy mask).

How are you feeling?: Extreme morning sickness 24/7 for the last week .. I've been MIA from the board because of it. I ended up in the hospital on Saturday after 24 hours of nonstop vomiting/dry heaving and unable to keep anything down. Dreading the next few months unfortunately. I thought I had it bad with DD but this is already way worse. Also, have outgrown all but my sports bras already! Tired but I think thats mainly from lack of nutrition.
Rants/Raves: DH has been so supportive with me being a miserable wreck from m/s. I'm so grateful for him!
