Catching up on what I missed Friday, and I’m HOWLING over the wack ass names on the GTKY. I judge names hardcore and frequently check the baby names board for my own torment/pleasure.

My contribution is a girl who was born during a fireworks show called “Thunder Over LOUISVILLE.” Her name is Thundasia.
I also know a Michael Hunt. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ladies, I am desperately trying to figure out how to embed my FF chart in my signature. I've been trying since 2017 and, well... nothing. This is my biggest project at work today... what am I doing wrong? Link to thumbnail as an image? And zero clue how to go about hiding things. Boy oh boy am I showing my AMA here.

@EmilyLove25 I save mine as a photo (a screenshot if I'm on my reg. computer) and then click the little thing that looks like a painting above the type window, um, this:

And you can use that to "Choose Files" and choose the photo you saved. Works on both mobile and reg. computer.

I just spent a half hour waiting for my damn lunch at Noodles. 😒

I knew it was going to take forever after I noticed that a couple sitting by the window waiting for their food had yet to get their food still some minutes after I sat down.

Ugh. I woke up from a nap (it's my day off) to a call saying my debit card was hacked and someone in Georgia ( I live in ME) was trying to buy 40 dollars worth of McDonalds🙄. I had to go in town to get a new debit card, and I cant use it for 24 hours. Super annoying. This happens at least once a year.

@inthewoods23 Hahahaha! I took a break from my work and did as many as I could within my time allotment. I've not been that helpful the last few weeks so I thought that could be my contribution.
I stopped when I realized many of the new threads needed fresh GTKY ideas or fun gifs. (I was all out of ideas & figured others might have some they wanted to use this week.) Plus, ya know, that thing called work...

Also, I’m always hoping that @lulu1180 will bring back some of the many day-specific topics she listed somewhat recently that used to be in frequent rotation. I think those are fun!

@inthewoods23 one of the long-term IF regulars from a couple year's back had that as her signature. I'm ashamed to say that I'm unsure of how things turned out for her, but I always loved her siggy.

I think it was @LadyMillil but don't quote me on that. She was one of the resident Canadians and got her BFP after doing IVF. If I remember right she actually works in a science related field, hence the siggy (although she doesn't appear to have the same image any longer)

@keikilove If you want those threads brought back, then go ahead and do it! The attitude that only certain people could/should post certain threads is how the "fun" threads stop getting posted. If there's a thread that you want to start that is a fun game/GTKY/bitching kind of thread then do it! You all are the regulars here, this is your home here on TB, make it as such! Besides, technically I'm actually a lurker on this board, I'm not even actively TTGP and I'm barely NTNP. I'm actually on the verge of being CFNBC (child free not by choice), I'm just waiting to hear back from my midwife if I need to schedule an appointment to come in and discuss birth control options.

Today I realized I spent random moments of my day yesterday thinking it was Wednesday....

I file away/archive emails that are a week old if I don't get responses back from the customer or our customer service group. Sometimes we just aren't aware that a matter is closed or maybe the customer really does just never get back to us.

So this morning I'm realizing all the emails I filed away yesterday were emails from last week Wednesday when I should have been only doing the Tuesday emails 🤦

Just spent the last 15 min going back through my old cycle comments on FF (since of course I’m SS)...the ones where I sh*t talk myself are hilarious to me now even though I know I was mad in the moment.

“Exhausted and stomach feels weird- it can’t possibly be because I ate a ton of macaroni salad”

”randomly having little cramps, obviously they totally aren’t random and mean implantation *eye roll*”

OMG @b_1029 those are hilarious. Your sarcasm is part of your charm, don't scold yourself for being truthful in your FF comments. They're not for anyone other than you. If you're worried about being so cynical, maybe just try to focus more on tracking the rare moments when you do feel the little glimmers of hope, and allow yourself to feel it. Write it down, even if the feeling is fleeting, because in that moment it was real.

@ruby696 Right?!?! My Uncle is so funny when he sees those names. He's been mad about 'trendy' names since my cousin was born, and she's 26 now. At the time it was names like 'Madison' or 'Brooklyn' or 'Ashleigh'. He was horrified that anyone would name their child any of those things. Pretty sure his head would explode if he had grandkids named 'Leodore' or 'Thrift' (daughter's BFF's nephew's name).

@inthewoods23 @jennifer_louise It sounds super old school? Leonora Sansay is a legit early american woman writer, so Leonore might actually be a super old name? Theodosia (Hamilton, anyone?) is Aaron Burr's daughter with his mistress of the same name & that sounds like a weird-ish name too, but it's just... old.
