I just took my Easter decorations off my shelves yesterday (because DS had a playdate). I still need to take my Easter wreath off my front door. I have no particular attachment to this holiday. I just have this bad habit of it doesn't affect the messiness of my house it just tends to get forgotten about.

@leprechaunlady - I am horrible about sending cards! I'll buy or make them, write a message in them, but I often fail with the final step. Why is it so hard for me when its really so easy?

I also just remembered that i forgot to being dh’s fathers day card with me to give to him on sunday when we left for our holiday this morning 🤦🏻‍♀️😬

@spacemountaineer i still have some christmas cards knocking about in my car that i didnt deliver so I hear you on that one!

Lately I'm really wishing I could just have the bed to myself. I'd be so grateful if MH would just sleep downstairs. A: for the bed and B: so I don't keep being woken up at 4am when he gets up. No matter how quiet he tries to be, I still wake up. He would never go for it. He feels like that's something only people with marital problems do. But nah man, I just want good sleep 🤷‍♀️

@peppyj9 yeah that's silly. I sleep downstairs on the couch often because I find it more comfortable and MH and I dont have marital issues. It's just a personal preference.

@peppyj9 During allergy season, DH snores soooooooo badly. At the beginning we start out in bed together but I end up moving as soon as he starts snoring. Between constantly feeling nauseous now and his snoring, I've just started out in the guest room every night at this point! Haha. We don't have marital problems but I'm pretty sure we would if I had do deal with the snoring every night all through the night 😂

@dumbledoredies @KristinUM12 I actually tried moving downstairs myself to sleep in the guest room down there and MH woke up and came to find me and then crawled into the guest bed with me asking why I moved downstairs 🤦‍♀️ I mean, it's great that he loves me so much, but c'mon!!! I've tried to explain nicely to him but he gets kind of sulky about it. My next compromise is a King size bed, one of those ones where it shows someone jumping on the bed with a glass of wine on the other side. 😅

@peppyj9 I'm YH. I can't imagine not sleeping next to DH. I sleep so much better having him there. Apparently I steal covers (I say I don't 😉), so we compromised with two twin coverlets. Even that feels like he's too far away.

@peppyj9 he followed you?! 😂 I would be so pissed! I prefer sleeping alone but we do have a king size bed and it has definitely helped. We've only had it for about a year. I'll never go back to a queen!

@persnickity are you a cuddler?

@dumbledoredies yes! An hour or so in because he was apparently worried when he woke up and I wasn't there 😖 although, I should have realized what a battle this will be. It took me months, months!, of rolling away and explaining to him that I need space to sleep before he finally gave up cuddle sleeping. Now he gets cuddles when we first get in bed but then I get to roll away. When we were first together, I would slyly roll away when I thought he was asleep and he would just roll closer! And then, my wonderfully sensitive H would get hurt that I didn't like to cuddle, which made me feel so weird, because isn't it usually the female that wants all the cuddles? Is there something wrong with me? But no, I like cuddles at appropriate moments, not all night. It's not personal, I just can't sleep that way. I don't understand how people do. If MH had it his way we'd sleep the entire night in an embrace, but that is way too uncomfortable and way too hot. Plus I toss and turn a lot and there's always this man in my way 😅 ok, but as a disclaimer since I feel bad for complaining about and kind of making fun of MH, I truly adore him. He is amazing. We're just very different in the cuddle/sleep department

@peppyj9 my husband is you. I get cold and love being close to him at night, and he's always either pushing me away or rolling away cuz he's too hot. LOL. I don't take it personally, but all I want is to be warm LOL.

@stashattack oh man, you are just like MH! It drives me crazy lol. At least you don't take it personally! MH did a little at first because he felt I was recoiling away from him 😅 But I was just trying to be comfortable!

Haha. My cat ends up snuggling with me instead so it's all good. Untill I wanna roll over and he gets pissy because he;s no longer in the crook of my legs anymore LOL

@dumbledoredies yep! I love cuddles! I know I toss and turn a lot, so I don't expect it all night, but I get comfort from it.
