Multiple large fibroids

I'm 14w5d having severe pain from my fibroids, I just started seeing a specialist so we've yet to discuss pain management plan. I was seen in the ER last night where they had to give me Morphine an sent home with vicodin, this is my second ER visit in 3 weeks. The pain is so bad its crippling, where I can't even work (ER nurse). I really don't know what to do, its mentally taking a toll on me. Any suggestions?

    I'm sorry to hear that you are going through this.  I had surgery a few years ago to remove two fibroids, but I haven't dealt with them while pregnant.  I hope your doctor is able to help you get some relief.

    P.S.  I'm not sure which area of the country you are in, but I have an excellent doctor in Chicago who specializes in fibroids if you would like his contact info.
