Re: 3rd trimester check in w/o 6/10
- How far along / EDD? 30+6.... that took me a minute to calculate!
- How is everyone feeling this week? not too bad, just plugging away
- Upcoming appointments? MW next week and then on to every other week appointments
- Questions? nope
- GTKY: what do you do to keep yourself busy and release the stress during this last home stretch? life is just busy, so I don't have to try to hard at that. I'm really hoping I can finish the baby blanket for this kiddo before it comes.... as for stress... umm I'm not feeling much stress (or I'm ignoring it...)
I hope you ladies are doing well this weekDiagnosed : unexplained infertility

eta: I forgot to answer your question! I am knitting it. I have knit a blanket for all the kids... though with the last one I did not measure well and it ended up being 8 ft long! oops

- How far along / EDD? 33 weeks 6 days / July 25th BUT c-section schedule @36 weeks on June 27th
- How is everyone feeling this week? Feeling ok they typical aches and pains but all in all can’t complain
- Upcoming appointments? Fri for my 34 week u/s and my last chance for the damn previa to MOVE! If it moved i can cancel the c-section but if not we’ll be seeing this little guy on 6/27... also an app on Tue 6/18 doing a strep b test
- Questions?
- GTKY: what do you do to keep yourself busy and release the stress during this last home stretch? Just trying to relax and not think too much into things. We have everything prepared for this lil guy and being home on bed rest has been relaxing.
@blackhottamales I agree with wabash, BC is a personal decision. If it makes you feel more comfortable go for it!@wabash15 Love that you knit! My co-worker knitted the most beautiful blanket for
our lil guy. I’m so impressed by her skills!!
Pic below
@ndz2018 omg that blanket really is gorgeous! I'm afraid I can't help you as to how to relax, I worked too close to the end and had too much left I wanted to do - and I went 11 days late! Lol. Fx things move for you and you can avoid a section.
eta: @ndz2018 I am still a bit of a basic knitter, but I find it is both soothing and keeps my hands busy at the same time. fx for a good US tomorrow.

yep, that was what my parents told me when we learned baby girl was going to arrive early and we had absolutely NOTHING ready. Ordered a car seat from the hospital room, DH set up the bassinet and pack n'play, and my mom did a Target run for baby essentials like diapers. We did just fine and baby was happy! You'll get everything sorted and fall into a groove eventually and a baby doesn't care about all of the little details that bother us.
I also loved those books -- Cheaper by the Dozen. I always wanted a big family but I became more realistic with my husband being super pragmatic and then obv. the journey not going quite as expected. It is fun when my sister and I and our kiddos get together for a family dinner or party --- so much chaos with just the three little girls rushing everywhere! Always someone calling out, "Where's 'so and so'???" "Oh, she's over here in the kitchen!!". And usually someone plays with the dog's water bowl or something like that.
@babydust2507
I'm sure you'll look lovely in the pictures and they will be a great memory for you AND your little one! Feel better and try to get some rest

I know! I have a little feel of 'big family' life since one of my aunts has 7 children and we were very close to those cousins, staying for summer trips, holidays, etc. They lived on a farm and there were so many places to play where we probably shouldn't have....like the barn loft, etc. Meals were basically everyone sitting around the table and passing family-sized platters and talking at the same time. It was always crazy but fun!
