Mine are my children. My darling children have been melting more than usual. I think they are growing, but it is still endlessly frustrating that all they want to do is hang on me and be held. Nor can I leave the room (bathroom trips anyone) without an entourage or major meltdowns.
@Dancer688 ugh, I hear you. My son is like attached to me, especially in the morning. He thinks the morning is time to have mommy sit and read and go everywhere with him, but I'm just struggling to make it to work on time, haha. I keep telling him there is no way he will be able to do this when his sister comes and I have to get 2 kids out of the house in the morning, but of course he doesn't understand, haha.
My TW (all day, every day) is going to be my supervisor. As one of my tasks, I monitor his budget and provide updates monthly. I do not spend the money, nor do I have control or notice when he does spend the money or authorize the spending. He sent me many frantic messages after my update for him yesterday about how he thinks he may be over budget at the end of the year and that I need to recalculate the projections for the rest of the year. Sorry dude, no. I can't recalculate anything because you went over budget the first half of the year. Deal with it.
The lady who runs my machine at work on day shift will forever be a twat waffle. Along with her supervisor. She Can. Not. Prioritize. I can have our area ahead of where we be, like multiple days ahead of schedule (we supply parts to the production line). I get pulled to work in a different area ONE TIME, and it all falls apart. All of a sudden we're behind again, and the production line is caught up to us on parts. So we are cutting parts while they're waiting for them, and slowing down production. And then I get told that I need to put my foot down and not let my supervisor move me to where they need the help (we are a crew of 20, compared to the 70 people on days. I'm not in an area that NEEDS to have a swing shift person, if the day shift person would just do her damn job).
Friday, she did NOTHING that was necessary for production. Organized some stuff that didnt need to be organized, started prepping for inventory which isn't for another 3 weeks, and painted some stuff that we dont have any use for any time soon. So when I came in, I told my supervisor to put me anywhere else because I wasn't going to bail her out AGAIN if her supervisor can't be bothered to make sure shes doing what actually needs to be done. Pretty sure the line ended up stopping yesterday because they didn't have parts, but oh well. She needs to be holding up on her end as well, I cant be expected to carry the area all the time. It's been a year, and they havent solved the problem yet.
Re: Twat Waffle Tuesday/Wednesday!
Can't wait for this phase to end
