    Est Due Date/Weeks + Days: Jan. 29/ 6+5

Baby is the size of a(n): earring post

Upcoming Appointments: First OB appointment June 20th

How are you feeling?: On and off sore boobs. On and off nausea and intense fatigue. Near total food and water aversion. Randomly weepy and terrified of the future.

Rants/Raves: The pools are open and the weather is lovely but not hot enough to swim.

Questions: Was (is) everyone excited about being pregnant? I feel guilty but honestly, I’m not. I know I’m in for a long and rough road if I’m struggling already. I thought that reading a pregnancy book would be comforting and maybe it was a rookie mistake but it makes me feel worse. I hope I can become excited or at least find a way to make peace with it so I’m not having panic attacks every other day.

GTKY: What is your dream job?: I would really love to be a travel writer.

Baby is the size of a(n): Sweet Pea

Upcoming Appointments: June 27. This waiting sucks!

How are you feeling?: Honestly I'm feeling pretty good. I'm bloated and constipated still, even though I do everything I can to help it. My boobs are sore most of the time, but not unbearable. I get very fatigued in waves during the day.. sometimes I have to fight to keep my eyes open at work. I'm sleeping awesome, working out every morning, no nausea, no food aversions.

Rants/Raves: The bloating is my biggest rant right now. I just feel so fat sometimes and since people at work don't know yet I feel like they are just assuming I'm letting myself go lol.

Questions: Has anyone thought about names yet? I think we've narrowed them down.

GTKY: What is your dream job? I have a fairly demanding job and I think it would be nice to be a receptionist in a dental office and only see people on a 6th month rotation.

@daydreaminghufflepuff I'm happy about being pregnancy, but worried about the unknown future. DH wants me to take a year off to be with the baby, which sounds really great to most people, but I am afraid I won't want to be. I like having my own paycheck. I also don't know if I want to be home with a baby that long. I am very goal driven and Type A. It will be a weird transition for me. I know once I have the baby my feelings could change. The other thing I'm worried about is if I am bringing a child into a really shitty world, or if I can't protect my future child from something. I probably watch way too much Dateline.
  • Is anyone interested in taking over posting this weekly for group 4? It’s posted every Monday. Questions are copied week to week with a new GTKY question.
  • @kbrown2385 I don't mind taking over. Do you just randomly pick the GTKY question?

@mrs_llama awesome thanks! Yeah you can pick whatever. Sometimes I have to google because I’m not that creative first thing in the morning haha.

  • @kbrown2385 no problem! sounds good

Baby is the size of a: Raspberry

Upcoming Appointments: First ultrasound Tuesday 06/18/19

How are you feeling?: Off and on fatigue and nausea, tender BBs, abdominal pressure, slower digestive system, food aversions, and HUNGRY.

Rants/Raves: No rant at the moment, however, I am so excited to get my Baby Doppler heartbeat monitor! It should arrive this Thursday.

Questions: No questions at the moment.

GTKY: What is your dream job? I don't really have a dream job. I do have hobbies I like, but I think the stress of having to "deliver" would change how much I enjoy them. I love to paint and create things, but my best "creative juices" flow at random.

Baby is the size of a(n): jellybean?

Upcoming Appointments: still awaiting my first appt on 6/21

How are you feeling?: on/off nausea and heartburn, so much fatigue

    Rants/Raves: none

Questions: I’m feeling guilty because I’m not as active with my one year old as I was prepregnancy and I think she’s feeling it as she is very mommy mommy right now. Anyone else not up to snuff for their other littles right now?

GTKY: What is your dream job? Lottery winner for sure
  • @daydreaminghufflepuff - I am sort of excited, but I'm still having a hard time accepting that this is real. My symptoms are not as pronounced as they were last time. Second trimester tends to be easier for most women. I know It's cliche, but the end result really is worth it.

@trauen812 - It's hard for DS to understand that when I'm nauseous that I can't get down on the floor and play with him.

    Est Due Date/Weeks + Days: 1/30 6+6

Baby is the size of a(n): blueberry

    Upcoming Appointments: 6/25

How are you feeling?: Nausea increased this week, along with irritability (not an ideal week to start DS on a crash course of potty training, but I'm doing it).

Rants/Raves: Rave- DS had no accidents today!
Rant- I have been so hungry. I think I'm gaining weight faster than I should which is driving me crazy as I am working out consistently.

Questions: Nothing that I can think of.

GTKY: What is your dream job? Same as last time , something where I made a lot of money so I could help family and friends and donate to charities.

    Est Due Date/Weeks + Days: January 28/7w4d

Baby is the size of a(n): altoid

Upcoming Appointments: bloodwork for the Harmony test the week of 6/25; ob appointment 7/12

How are you feeling?: excited but I’m trying to curb it; really nervous- I’ve had on and off spotting and I’m 37 so I’m trying to embrace the joy but I’m afraid something will go wrong (I promise I'm trying to be more glass half full). I’m super exhausted most nights and cannot stop eating.

Rants/Raves: 37 years old shouldn’t be a geriatric pregnancy. It causes so many more concerns and paranoia. Edit to add: I also am not allowed to work out other than walking. I went from 6 days a week to nothing and while I’m 100% onboard with this for the baby, it’s a mental adjustment.

    Questions: not right now

GTKY: What is your dream job? Owning my own bookstore and bakery
