    CD/DPO: 24/8

    Timing: EOD

    Typical LP length: 12

    Testing: Tomorrow!

R/R: The SS continues so I’m glad I’m testing tomorrow to bring me back to reality that it’s still so early. The person that I have worked with on my “summer” clients for several years left our firm this fall so today is day 1 of training the new person. He started at our firm in the fall so he’s not brand new but no experience yet with this type of client. Wish me luck and patience!

@lcking82 thanks! good job not testing today!

  • @bows22:  have to give credit to the alarm that was so easily turned off instead of “snoozed!”  😅😅😅😅.
  • @bows22 Good luck! Hopefully he's a quick study!!

  • @bows22 GL testing!!!  FX for you!  And good luck with training!

@lcking82 It's great when life happens in a way that helps with not being tempted to pee on all the things!

@mvt2003 Welcome back!  Hope you had a wonderful vacation!

@kagesstarshroom Aww that's really sweet of YH.  I haven't had "that talk" with MH yet, but I'm starting to think maybe we should think about doing some testing?  I dunno.  This is hard.

@rikiteacup Your lunch plans sound much nicer.  My walking buddy's husband is gone for work this week, so she can't walk in the mornings with me, and I won't go solo that early in the mornings, and so my steps are suffering.  I hope to get out at lunch today instead!

Yay for a confirmed O @lcking82! Good luck to you if you decide to test. :)

Post vacation catch up is always so hard @mvt2003! Haha!

@kagesstarshroom I'm happy to hear that your DH is willing to move forward with a SA. It couldn't hurt to have more answers. I hope he schedules it soon!

@mvt2003 that’s great that you got back into your workout routine after vaca. I need to be more motivated!

@kagesstarshroom I’m so happy that your H is coming around, even if it’s just a little bit! Sometimes I want to wait to test too - I think when I have a feeling I’m out, I like to wait to delay the letdown. But sometimes I get hopeful and then the buildup of hope gets to be too much. So it really depends on my mindset each cycle. TTC is such a roller coaster

@rikiteacup I might have said all of this before but I go out to lunch a lot with my job and get the same way with bar food. People tease me because I’ll order grilled cheese a lot but sometimes I just want something simple!

@shamrocandroll WTF to your chart, indeed. Will you try a non-cheapie again? I’m glad your work project is going well!

    thanks @puppylove8910
  • @bows22 I also order the grilled cheese and side salad or fruit.

@shamrocandroll Do you usually get spikes like that? I usually get my highest temp around 11DPO.

  • Month/Cycle: 5

    CD/DPO: 21/9

    Timing: -3,-2,-1

    Typical LP length: 14

Testing: I think tomorrow....I kind of feel like this is a Schrodinger's cat situation, and not testing keeps the hope alive that I might actually be KU, so we'll see how I feel in the AM.

R/R: We had major storms this weekend. Our house is okay, but a lot of people don't have power. Our friends are staying with us until theirs gets turned back on. So I've been pretty absent on the dailies lately. Hoping things calm down soon!

CS/Q: Staying pretty on-trend with past months so far....

  • @shamrocandroll I feel like we are weirdly connected sometimes--we both have these bonkers charts this cycle w/ all these ups & downs & weren't we CD twins last cycle, plus other stuff. Sorry re: the spike hope & BFN =/. I also had a higher temp (not like yrs!) today but that was bc I temped so late. An SA is like the easiest, cheapest I think, test of that nature, so it's definitely worth considering.*TW loss* I think MH thought we'd have an easier time of it bc we got pg 2 cycls after my cp so maybe he thought it'd be as easy after the mmc, and I think now that we're onto cycle 5 (though our 4th of actually trying) he is like "welp, maybe time to get the boys tested." *end TW*

@rikiteacup Now I want grilled cheese & tomato soup for lunch...

@puppylove8910 Thanksss. I was literally just in the dailies and TTCAL yesterday bitching about how he seems to not care bc of his reupped bad habits, and now he's dutifully swallowing vitamins and suggesting a SA! He must be on here as a newb catfishing us... TOO SOON, I know, too soon lol.

@bows22 I feel like sometimes I KNOW I'm out & can be real zen about it and other times I don't, and I wish I just always "knew" even though that "knowing" is probably bs lol we know nothing agghhh :dives into the abyss.: :the abyss turns out to be full of puppies though so it's all gonna be okay: (didn't want to be too dark haha).

  • @shamrocandroll Sorry about BFN. You're not out till AF, but I understand how hard it is, especially when timing was really good.

    @bows22 @rikiteacup Tomorrow testing buddies!

@kagesstarshroom Those open circles....I always take them personally, like FF is getting on to me! But some days it's a catch 22... take temp at the right time, but without good sleep or whatever vs take temp later with good sleep and get an open circle. *sigh*
  • @rikiteacup I would FAR prefer lunchtime walks with podcasts over a restaurant with work colleagues! I'm doing WW too - salad with deli turkey and a hardboiled egg is on the menu today! What did you pack? Also, what podcast? I've got an episode of Murder Squad to finish, then the final episode of The Shrink Next Door!

@kagesstarshroom FX for a quick SA! So happy YH is being proactive about it!! Also super glad he's in a better head space

@shamrocandroll FX for a good presentation! I'm in the same boat of having to broach the SA topic too, so I feel you.

@shoogapoff I feel the same way sometimes, like when I know I'm out sometimes I just need to see the BFN.

  • @bows22 Yeah, if I don't get my period by 14DPO I'll probably test again with a FRER.  But I also get super nervous about it because *TW my last BFP came really late and was faint, and it turned out to be a CP, so I'm kind of torn between peeing on all the things and self-preservation...

@rikiteacup Unfortunately between my AL cycles and my benched cycles where I didn't temp to try and maintain some sanity, I don't really have a good baseline for "usually" with my cycles.

@shoogapoff I feel you so hard on the Schrodinger's cat thing.  I wish I had held off, because now I'm just kind of in the "who knows" territory... early, but also not that early.

@kagesstarshroom Yeah, I think I might call about some testing if this next cycle doesn't pan out, because that'll be our 1 year mark.  :(

@bows22 GL testing tomorrow! Hopefully training the new guy goes relatively well.

@lcking82 hooray for confirmed O! I hope the cramping is a good sign - do you usually get it before AF?

@kagesstarshroom I'm definitely in the "test really late"/never test camp. It has relieved so much stress for me haha. I read your update the other day and I'm so sorry for all the stupid BS you guys are going through. Sending you much strength and good vibes! That is sweet of YH to say he wants to get a SA.

@rikiteacup glad you're getting a break from your boss this week! Going out to eat constantly sounds exhausting.

@shamrocandroll it's still early! sorry you're feeling bad about this cycle. Glad your review went well today!

R/R: This week is dragging, probably because I am excited for the weekend. I have a bridal shower then a graduation party for my cousins (siblings) and I am excited to see all the family!
