  • Dh came up with the menu this week so it should be interesting. We had steak wraps with peppers and cheese last night that didn’t agree with me. Also on the menu are cheeseburgers w/ sweet potato fries, grilled chicken w/grilled veggies and grilled pizzas.

  • @kbrown2385 Those meals actually sound semi-appetizing. 

    Not sure what we’re having tonight but we’re having waffles for dinner tomorrow, grilled burgers and corn on Wednesday, pizza on Thursday, and we eat out on Fridays. Hope I can stomach it all. 
  • A few meals on the menu are lasagna, grilled chicken with "Olive Garden" salad, lemon pepper chicken with mashed potatoes, and probably a few take out meals.
  • Monday: Pesto baked chicken with California mix and maybe some noodles

    Tuesday: Individual naan pizzas 

    Wednesday: Grilled pork chops with wild rice and broccoli 

    Thursday: Probably out or something that I make up

  • I need someone to teach me the meal planning ways!
    I am so disorganised & end up picking up something for dinner on my way home every evening for dinner. I always think if I meal plan in advance that I wont want what im supposed to have on a given day.
  • Monday: peanut butter crackers
    Tuesday: toast
    Wednesday: ramen noodles
    Thursday: pretzels
    Friday: popsicles 

    I’m totally jealous of anyone that can plan meals in advance right now. I just ask myself what I can stomach at any given moment and I usually don’t have it in the house.

    9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)

    RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

    Wednesday: Tofu Lettuce Wraps with peanut sauce, veggie "unfried" rice, and broccoli
    Thursday: Zucchini Boats
    Friday: grilling veggie dogs, asparagus and making pasta salad
  • @carrieandr - Lol, That's what I felt like making my meal plan, but I actually felt good enough on Saturday to pretend that I'm actually going to eat normally this week.
  • @leprechaunlady I don’t always follow the meal plan I have. I just make sure I have my ingredients on hand for the week and switch it up as the week allows. If I don’t make everything thing in a week, it usually gets moved to the weekend or following week. Don’t let the “plan” bog you down :)

  • @daydreaminghufflepuff veggies and fruit are not agreeing with me so he was happy to come up with dinner ideas lol. He kind of has a pass to eat crap lol.

    @carrieandr I told dh he was in charge this week and I’ll just eat what I can. 
  • Monday: boring pasta and red sauce from a jar 
    Tuesday: meatloaf and baked potatoes
    Wednesday: leftovers
    Thursday: lasagna
    Friday: out or grilling something 

    Probably not in this order lol 

  • Meal planning is not proving to be successful this week.

    M: taco gnocchi skillet with ground turkey...which DH made graciously, and I couldn't even stomach the smell of it, let alone the one bite I took.
    T: hoping to try grilled chicken, but will likely just have a baked potato and a basic salad with ranch dressing, cheese and croutons
    W: left overs...I'll probably have another baked potato
    Th: we're going to member night at the zoo, so I'm hoping to get home in time to make grilled cheeses to take with us
    F: hopefully wings because they've been sounding good to me

    Fish sounds good too, as does most seafood. Even though we live at the beach, most fish is still outrageously expensive. I don't know how long I can manage $24.99/lb cod and halibut. I can only eat so much salmon. And I could go for tuna all the time, but am trying to limit it to once/month. I already had sushi last week (spicy tuna and some tuna tataki), so guess it's out until July.

  • A shrimp alfredo sounds good...maybe I'll add it to this weekend/next week's menu. And breakfast for dinner.

  • Monday - sausage rigatoni pasta 
    Tuesday - one pot lo mein
    Wednesday- buffalo chicken wraps & tator tots
    Thursday - burgers and grilled veggies  
    Friday- dinner out 
  • @jitterbug1419 recipe for the sausage rigatoni pasta? Sounds delicious! 
  • @kbrown2385 - it’s one of the first meals I made for DH after we were married and almost 11 years later it’s still in regular rotation!    It calls for kraft sundried tomato vinaigrette which I have the best luck finding at Walmart. For recipe tweaks I use closer to 1/2 c dressing and cook an entire pound of pasta so we can have leftovers for lunches a few days.     We also use ground Italian sausage instead of links.
