@kmj1426 I never watched any of these until recently when DH made me watch them all and catch up! I wasn't a fan of LOR. But I liked Harry Potter and Star Wars.
I hate the genre of books I call "ladies fiction". Drama, family, relationship-based books like "All the Light We Cannot See" last year, "Room" a couple years before that, anything by Jodi Picoult... If women are victims and the main plot is about messed up family relationships, I consider it drivel and hate reading it.
No you guys! LOTR is my all time favorite movie series!! I don’t care for Star Wars or HP though... My UO for today: I couldn’t care less about sports. I mean I enjoy playing volleyball, softball, etc myself but I think pro sports are a giant ridiculous waste of time and money.
@jynjer91 I always tell people that's why I married my DH- he hates watching sports too! I can't tell you the last time I had to watch a sport and pretend to give a F.
@jynjer91 and then there is me who is obsessed with sports. LOL I grew up playing fastpitch so I love watching college fastpitch but I livvvvve for football season (both college and NFL). I also love watching baseball, even though my team sucks balls this year and the last 20 years.
We are big into sports around here. We even like NASCAR (never in my life would I have thought I would say that). Football is life for my husband and The Cowboys are God’s team. It’s nice to know I won’t be seeing too much hate from you guys during football season. Granted, half our group doesn’t even know they are pregnant yet and that could change.
@brookert615 I’m not the family cook. (DH is.) But I can’t justify going out for Italian and paying $16 for a pasta dish when I know damn well it costed $.80 for an entire box. The markup is ridiculous!! I don’t mind Olive Garden, but there is much better Italian in NJ.
As for the sports, DH and I were college athletes and met playing softball. We were both runts growing up, but held our own. DS is only 18 months, but obsessed with everything sports, especially baseball. Can’t wait to take him to his first professional game this summer!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

@brookert615 What?!? You're insane.
I'm not big into sports either. Definitely not going to watch them on TV.
