Can I take baths?

If I eat peanut butter, will my baby be allergic?

Can I go to the beach?

Don't toy with me. If you really and truly are this ignorant, you should not reproduce.

    I am beginning to understand the snarking on some of these questions.  I guess it just takes a few weeks to realize that the same questions are asked as well as some of the silliest things that I have ever heard in my lifeStick out tongue

    How is asking about Peanut butter being ignorant? Its a simple question that definately didnt need such a rude remark. Some people have questions that I guess seem dumb or ignorant to you but at least they ask questions. If nobody ever asked questions then how would we know anything? Honestly these boards are for support and questions...and while some snarky comments are always fun they are not always needed. This is my first time being a mom and i am very concerned about the well being of my baby so I ask questions...What is soo wrong with asking questions? What would be the point of this board? Im sorry that my question has bothered you so damn much but it bothers me that you make the comment about not reproducing...I am a concerned mom to be that makes me a good person not some stupid ignorant person like you seem to think.

     Here we go again, if you want answers go to good sources like medical journals or your DOCTOR.  They get paid for this stuff.  WE ARE NOT MEDICAL professionals.  What if you get bad advice, are you going to blame the people you DON"T KNOW when you could have easily asked a source that has the right answers.

    I'll tell you how: if eating peanut butter caused your baby to be allergic to peanut butter, could you not apply that "logic" to all common food allergies: wheat, eggs, dairy, seafood, etc?

    It sounds to me like you enjoy snark when it occurs to other people, but when it's dumped on you, you can't hack it. Look.... we've had a very interesting week and everything is building up. So you have two choices... 1) turn off your comp and sit on the toilet and cry about it or 2) brush it off (aka: put your big girl panties on and deal with it).

    I agree those questions get asked way to often!  However, the peanut butter thing is particularly annoying to me because there seems to be such a wide misconception that eating peanuts/peanut butter will up the chances that baby will be allergic.  You would not believe how often I come across this annoying question/comment in my real daily pregnant life!

    I applaud you for being a concerned mom.. really I do.. no sarasm in that.
