  They are kind of similar.
  What about Bella or Stella? Almost the name you love but the additional letters make them sound different and less matchy wth Alexa.

  I would try calling out loud, “Alexa and Ella!” And see how it feels/sounds. I didn’t think they were too similar upon first sight, but when I try to say it put loud it’s a bit of a tongue twister.

  I think it's fine. They will spend the majority of their lives as adult individuals rather than as a sibling set.

  Eh, I second giving her a longer name and going with an Ella-like nn. I personally think they sound awkward together.

  I think they are fine. Both of my girls are going to end in "a" and it doesn't bother me a bit.
