Win/Wine/Whine Wednesday 5/29

Bringing this back to TTGP lol. Hope this looks right :).

Win:  What are you winning at this week, or what is your week winning at?

Wine:  What is your favorite alcoholic (or nonalcoholic) drink to pair with dinner?

Whine: If you could choose one of your weaknesses to turn into a strength this week, which one would you choose?

    Fun!

Win:  I just switched jobs and since I’m going to a competitor, they’re paying me for my two weeks but didn’t have me come in! Excited to start on Monday but enjoying my time off

Wine:  i really enjoy Cider (alcohol), especially this time of year. Refreshing and pretty good alcohol content per oz compared to beer!

Whine: If you could choose one of your weaknesses to turn into a strength this week, which one would you choose? Being disorganized. We recently got married and have so many gifts, especially since I’m home from work I really really wish I would get our place in order.

Win: Winning at showing up to my work outs. Show up was my only goal to start out and I'm calling it a win.

Wine:  I love a Syrah. Red blends in general tend to be my favorite.

Whine: My hyperactive, reeling mind would become a chill, laid back, cool, zen master style mind.

Win:  What are you winning at this week, or what is your week winning at? I made it to the gym 2/3 days so far, 1 of those days being the worst workout of the year (Murph)

Wine:  I'm pretty boring, typically just red wine or water with dinner!

Whine: Procrastination and laziness. Someone come clean my house and do my yardwork for me :)

Win:  What are you winning at this week, or what is your week winning at? This week is awesome at being a little less stressful than last week due to the completion of a big project at work last week.

Wine:  I gave up alcohol a while back when I was on Jenny Craig, so my drink of choice is now Diet Dr. Pepper.

Whine: Definitely procrastination. I have a chance to catch up on all my work. Not happening, because I’m procrastinating.

Win: I don’t have much this week, maybe just being flexible while our house is being worked on

Wine: Cranberry juice is my go to dinner drink bc I get frequent UTIs for some reason and drinking a glass a day helps keep them away

Whine: I need to become more organized. I recently cleaned 3/4 rooms upstairs and I love how it feels so I need them to stay that way and get the rest of the house like that! (However this will be a goal for post house work)

Win: we didn’t have time to get sheets when we ordered our new bed on Monday and I despise running errands on weeknights. I found out my dads travels today were going to take him past Target and our house so I ordered some for store pickup and he is going to get them for us. Dads who like jobs to do is a win for me!

Wine: I like all wines when I’m eating dinner, depending on what I’m in the mood for. My go-to is Sauvignon blanc though!

Whine: I have a lot of work to fit into my 3 day work week this week. But I can’t whine about that too much 🙂 Edit - oops I forgot there was a specific whine to discuss. My weakness that I would like to turn into a strength is that I get distracted and forget things easily!

Win:  What are you winning at this week, or what is your week winning at? Staying on top of chores!

Wine:  What is your favorite alcoholic (or nonalcoholic) drink to pair with dinner? Usually a random flavor of Zevia! My favorite alcoholic drink would probably be Kingview mead or cider!

Whine: If you could choose one of your weaknesses to turn into a strength this week, which one would you choose? Oh, probably being a flake on myself. I'll promise myself I'll workout at night when I sleep in lol.

Win:  What are you winning at this week, or what is your week winning at?
Getting myself excited to start stims and have an ER in 2 weeks! Staying positive! I find out tomorrow if I'm ready to go!

Wine:  What is your favorite alcoholic (or nonalcoholic) drink to pair with dinner?
Typically soda, but sparkling flavored water is good too!

Whine: If you could choose one of your weaknesses to turn into a strength this week, which one would you choose?
My impulsivity and inability to take things slow and think before I speak. Thanks anxiety 🙃

Side comment - wtf does the upside down smiley even mean? Did I even use it correctly? 😆

Win:  What are you winning at this week, or what is your week winning at? I went to the craft store and left empty-handed!

Wine:  What is your favorite alcoholic (or nonalcoholic) drink to pair with dinner? Summertime I like fruity drinks that end in "tini". I usually drink white wine. Cupcake Butterkissed Chardonnay and Cupcake Angel Food are both favorites. My FIL also makes his own red which is REALLY strong!

Whine: If you could choose one of your weaknesses to turn into a strength this week, which one would you choose? Um...my impatience.

Win:  What are you winning at this week, or what is your week winning at? I’m surviving.

Wine:  What is your favorite alcoholic (or nonalcoholic) drink to pair with dinner? Nothing usually, but I really want a hard cider. I bit my lip, though, and it’s gonna really hurt.

Whine: If you could choose one of your weaknesses to turn into a strength this week, which one would you choose? I wish I was less sensitive to noises!!

Win:  I finally have something to post, we got approved for an apartment we want! It's in the same neighborhood we're in, which we love, it's bigger and one where it actually seems realistic to have a baby living there (FX). I'll have a dishwasher for the first time as an adult!
Wine:  dry rose in warm months, pinot noir in the winter/fall
Whine: I would take all my nervous energy about the pain of moving and channel it into getting started on strategizing, finding movers etc. Haha.

    I love this idea!!!

Win- our fertility specialist appointment was supposed to be June 24th. They called to cancel it and tell me it was rescheduled for July 9th. I was VERY disappointed but I get things happen. Well they called back and scheduled me in for TOMORROW! So I am winning at being kind to others and karma working for me for once lol.

Wine- I’m boring. Diet Pepsi lol.

Whine- the metformin and provera are just kicking my ass. But I keep telling myself it’ll be worth it.
