Re: WTO Friday 5/17

  • Good morning! I was up early, thought I’d get us started! 🤗

    Month/Cycle: 5/1 AL

    CD: 21

    WAYDTGKU: benched; BBT and OPK

R/R: Any other Big Bang Theory fans out there? I watched the finale last night and cried like a baby!

    Rave: FRIDAY!!!!!

CS/Q: Thinking O is finally here. Maybe. Hopefully.

  • Loading the player...
  • Good morning, ladies! We made it to Friday! Cheers!

    Month/Cycle: 10/9 (4th cycle AL)

    CD: 15

WAYDTGKU: Prenatal vitamins, Fertility Friend, temping, fertility tea, RE appointment next week.

R/R: Sorry this thread have been getting away from me this week and I haven't come back to respond as much. End of the school year crunch!

CS/Q: My OPKs were positive and there was a good amount of EWCM yesterday, so just waiting for O to be confirmed.  I think I am coming down with a cold so that might make it harder to pinpoint.

  • @ejoseph16 I watched it, even though I haven't seen many of the more recent episodes. I thought it was well done, although I feel like Raj deserved a better role in the episode. FX O is today! I know it's tough waiting.
    TW
The first cycle after my loss, I didn't O until CD25. It felt like forever because we just wanted to start over and try again.
  • Month/Cycle: 2

    CD: 1

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK,

R/R: I had a longer than usual cycle because of course I would my first month back TTC. At least AF finally showed so I can move on to a new cycle.

    CS/Q:
  • @ejoseph16 hope O is here for you! We haven’t watched the finale yet but it’s on our DVR so we prob will tonight or tomorrow night.

@emeraldduchess hope you don’t actually get hit with a cold or if you do it’s very mild!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD:21

    WAYDTGKU: OPKs, CM, PNV, ED

R/R: It’s going to rain all day, I’m just ready for the sunny warm weather to get here already! I need to go to Party City and Joann’s to get some candy and a cute container for a game in a bridal shower I’m helping with and catch up on a bunch of laundry because leaving it all until Friday seemed like a wonderful idea M-Th 😬.

CS/Q: so if I have EWCM one time when I check but the other times throughout the day it’s just W which one should I mark on my chart?

@emeraldduchess I had trouble keeping up with TBBT for a few seasons, missed some episodes here and there, but I have followed it since the beginning. I’m glad it ended how it did. Nice closure.
    TW loss mentioned:
    *edit to add spoiler
I’m struggling with that. I’m thinking I’m ovulating, I’m having small sharp pains near my ovary, so for the first time ever I think I’m feeling it happening. Weird. It’s amazing how miscarriage can effect your body! we are anxious to start again, as well. I was hoping I would be a lucky one that has a short cycle, but no! Ugh!
  • @ejoseph16 Sorry about the loss and being benched. Having to wait is so hard!!

@varimama Ha! I also put off doing laundry. I know what you mean about being over the rain. Have fun at Joann's!

    @amber2718 Sorry about CD1

    Happy Friday, everyone!

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD: 10

    WAYDTGKU: OPK, EOD

R/R: I have an espresso cafe/library meet-up soon with a friend today. I will be leaning in to this rain today.

I have been painting furniture and improving organization in my house to sort of prepare for expanding our family. I love little home improvement projects.

CS/Q: Anyone know how common or serious it is to not get a "peak" after a "high" on your OPK? Just curious!

WAYDTGKU: PNV, Macca, sperm healthy food and supplements for DH... gonna temp again this cycle.

    R/R: TW
My ex best friend announced on Mother’s Day that she was pregnant with her second. I’m taking this CD 1 really hard
DH starts his new job soon. Really excited to see if any fertility treatments are offered.

CS/Q: this will probably be the only time I Post my own stuff in WTO this cycle just for mental health.
  • @ejoseph16 I love Big Bang! We didn't watch it last night, though! :( FX that O is confirmed!

@emeraldduchess Your gif made me thirsty! Yay on all signs of O! Hope you can feel better soon!

@amber2718 Hello! Glad you have a nice, fresh start!

@varimama Booo to rainy days! Hope you can get everything you need done! We are the same with laundry!

@bobbyflies2020 Enjoy the meet-up with your friend today! Home improvement projects are super fun! I love giving furniture glow-ups lol. Depending on your OPKs you might not get the peak. Also depending how often you test/what time of day. That peak can come and go very quickly so a high is still good :).

@madcouplewithabox So sorry about CD1 and dealing with the announcement  <3! FX YH's new job is the perfect fit and the benefits are good!

  • @madcouplewithabox I am so sorry. Take care of yourself. Just know that a lot of us know what you're going through.
I am about to start cycle 14 of TTC. 2 of my SILs are pregnant with their first. My husband has 5 siblings and we're the only one without kids. All my SILs+MIL talk about are babies and kids. I am glad his family didn't organize anything for Mother's day this year because I was for sure not going to attend.
Do what you gotta do for your sanity. This might mean staying away from social media/trigger situations.

  • @brookert615 Awww yay for DH! I am proud of him for you! Have fun w/ your friend--when's the wedding?

    @madcouplewithabox Sorry for CD1 & the double-whammy =/

@emeraldduchess FX you're not getting sick!

@bobbyflies2020 Everything Brooker said would have been akin to my advice on OPKs! Don't stress about it. Temping, though, is the best way to confirm O.

@ejoseph16 *****TW*****loss***** I had a longer than usual AL cycle, but I was just glad it wasn't, like, 80 days long, as some of them are--I am a big fan of the chart search on FF, so it was good to see what the differences in AL cycles were like and how the average was like, it seemed, an extra week. Also, was it the series finale? I don't get the channel (w/ my antenna tv lol) that the new BBT eps are on, but I've seen most of the first few seasons.

@varimama Sorry about the rain--and laundry! I did all mine yesterday, and it's still out drying on the line today bc I put it out there too late. No rain here, just heat & humidity, so it's all good--sending sunny vibes your way!

    Month/Cycle: 8/4AL

    CD: 4

WAYDTGKU: right now: pnv, vitc ,vitd, coq10, low-carb diet, rlt, gfj, ff... eventually: bbt, cm, hio, opk...

R/R: Slept in today & am allll over the place this morning. A band we like is playing for free downtown tonight & I'm hosting a Swap at my house tomorrow--though 2 ppl in my cohort who graduated are throwing themselves a joint graduation party the same day as my swap? Even though I asked for blackout dates when I planned it AND invited them? Anyway, not as mad about it as I was earlier this week, but still annoyed. My office is the cleanest its been in forever, and I always clean best before we have ppl over, so looking forward to having a clear space.

  • @kagesstarshroom The wedding is in November! Yay for sleeping in though! Have fun at your Swap! Sorry those people were rude and didn't blackout those dates :(. So happy to hear you have a nice clean space! It makes everything so much lighter!

  • @varimama good luck on your shopping trip! It's raining here too and I am beyond done with it.

@kagesstarshroom have fun at the concert! That sounds like a fun way to kick off the weekend.

@brookert615 have a great time with your friend!

@madcouplewithabox I am so sorry you had to deal with an announcement AND CD1. Hugs to you. 💙

@bobbyflies2020 enjoy your espresso and books with your friend. That sounds so nice on a rainy day.

  • @amber2718 sorry about your long cycle and CD1. My cycle is looking like it’s going to be even longer than my already long cycles at the start of TTC too so I can sympathize!

@bobbyflies2020 hope your espresso cafe and library meetup was fun! Sounds like a great way to start the day!

@madcouplewithabox I’m so sorry about CD1 and the announcement. *creepy internet hugs* I hope you get some fertility benefits with your H’s new job!

@brookert615 glad you get to see your friend! That’s great your H got so much from his appointment!

@kagesstarshroom hope you have fun at your Swap! How frustrating/rude when people ignore your planned in advance event to plan another one for the same time!

  • @amber2718 sorry for CD1! 😔

@varimama be ready with tissues in the second half... I definitely cried in the end. To answer your question, I usually only record first thing in the morning. That’s when I temp, OPK, and check CM. Every once in a while I check midday, but I don’t record that.

@bobbyflies2020 I’m going crazy! If my doctor wouldn’t have advised against it, we would’ve gone ahead with trying again right away. I see spotting and actually get excited that I could be starting AF. Ugh.

@madcouplewithabox I’m so sorry you’re having such a hard time. I so feel you on the mother’s day problems emotionally. I cried the whole day this year.

@kagesstarshroom I signed up for VIP in FF for the first time the other day. I love looking at other charts. It’s helping my sanity in a big way. And yes, TBBT was the series finale. It was a good one! Now I want to go back and binge the entire series! Lol sleeping in sounds soooooooooo nice! I’m only 9 school days and 3 professional development/moving days away from sleeping in for 2 months... hooray!
  • @ejoseph16 Ooo yes. I have have VIP for so long, I wasn't sure if the chart search feature was a VIP thing/not, which is good to know since I am *always* recommending it haha. Glad it's been helpful to you! FF does giveaways and hands out coupon codes via their twitter for extra VIP time, too, so keep an eye out for that!

  • @kagesstarshroom thanks! Yeah I signed up for 3 months, since I’m benched this month. Hoping to get KU again quick. FX. But I figure it’s such a useful tool I’ll pay for it.
  • @ejoseph16 omg you’re right I’m crying my eyes out 😭
