Inspired by something I saw on my way to work today...

What's the weirdest item or thing that you've seen in the road/on the side of the road that made you wonder "how in the world did that end up there?"

TTC #1 since 7.2017
Dx: low morph (1%), ANA positive, low decidualization score, high TSH and testosterone, histone antibodies

IUI #1-3 | all BFN
IVF #1 | 6.11.19 | 24R, 17M, 15F, 6B, PGT-A tested - 5 normal, 3 girls & 2 boys
FET #1 | 9.10.19 | BFN "I know you, but we've never met. I'm with you, but I don't know your name"
RPL, Receptiva, & ERA testing | all normal/negative, recommended going on gluten and dairy free diet for next FET
FET #2 | 3.31.20 | Opted to cancelled due to pandemic, continued diet and tried naturally over the summer
2nd Opinion with another RE | 8.20.20 | Not immune to measles (received 1 dose); SA results similar to 2 years ago; decided to move forward with FET #2 redo at start of next cycle
Surprise natural BFP! | 9.22.20 | MC 10.23.20 at 8 weeks
TTCAL naturally | starting 11.22.20

Initial consultation with Reproductive Immunologist | 9.14.21
Decidualization score biopsy | 10.1.21 | abnormal - low score of 1; endometrial scratch recommended and progesterone supplementation
Saline sono | 10.15.21 | normal
Bloodwork | 10.21.21 | high TSH, high testosterone, positive for anti-nuclear antibodies and histone antibodies, high protein S, multiple genetic mutations
BFP! | 11.3.21 | EDD 7.14.22 B) | biopsy provided same effect as endometrial scratch; added supplemental progesterone and estrogen, prednisone, levothyroxine, and MTX Support to maintain pregnancy
DS born 7.19.22 after induction


TTC #2 begins 6.2023
Consultation with RI | 6.6.23
Saline sono, endometritis biopsy, skin & eye check | all normal
Labs | high TSH, Factor XIII mutation, high %CD56
Follow up | 8.8.23 | prescribed metformin, prednisone, plaquenil, and levothyroxine
Repeat labs after 3 weeks on meds
Follow up | 11.9.23 | Green light!, increase in prednisone, added lovenox
Repeat labs in 8 weeks
Follow up | 1.16.24 | Green light continues
TTC ended due to filing divorce

    I am 95% positive I saw a weight room weight for the bench press barbells in the road today. Like wtf lol

    A car seat. We turned around and added about 25 minutes to our drive just to double check that there wasn’t a kid in it. I really don’t understand how people just toss trash randomly. It drives me crazy.

    A rolled up carpet. My mind always goes so dark and I think their must be a body wrapped up in it haha. 
    @begging4abump I’ve seen a car seat too! And turned around to make sure no child was in it. 

    Im also always confused when I see a shoe. I don’t think I’ve ever lost just one shoe.

    Which was from a movie or old TV show right? 🤔

    Also, every time there is a car bumper I always say this line from The Office

    @verydisgruntledpelican0091 I’m also always very confused when I see one shoe. Especially on the sidewalk! We’ve all had rough nights, but how’d you end up walking home with just one shoe? Haha

    @inthewoods23 I slightly remember the shoes on the power lines (atleast where I’m from) indicating a drug dealer worked that area or lived in that area. I don’t know if it’s the same everywhere 

    @b_1029 yes! Haha. The only thing that I can think of is those people who drive with a foot out the car window (maybe that’s another UO for today, people who can’t sit properly for road trips lol) that maybe their shoe goes flying off and whoever is driving refuses to stop. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    We were driving home from Texas once & we saw a few onions... and then a mile down one of those red meshes of onions...and then a half mile down more of them...and then more and more until there were just onions everywhere.

    @chichiphin that is really creepy!

    @begging4abump I would have turned around too because now with the world the way it is you can't be too careful

    I think I've seen too many crime shows because I always wonder if there is a dead body in wooded areas.

    Also with the shoes on the power line my ex-BF grew up in the Bronx and he said it was to mark territory.  I don't know if that's true or not but I believed him.
