Sorry I've been MIA. Decided on Saturday to join my MIL to drive up to Atlanta (from Tampa) to my SIL's house for my nephew's First Holy Communion. We got back Monday night and it's been hectic. Coming up for air!

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: CD 27/ 6 DPO

Timing: Not sure what to say for this? Would appreciate some help.

Typical LP length: 30 days :( Sad face because I ovulated on CD 21 and again, another month with a short LP. I did, however, complete & mail in my Dutch Complete dried urine test so I am curious to see what that says in regard to my hormones/short LP.

    Testing: None

R/R: I touched on this on the WTO/TFAS board but we are here in FL because we had a BUNCH of big family events plus a wedding. My husband left over a week ago back to the UK because he couldn't take off that much time off work. I am here until next Saturday. We tried DTD while we were here but it was hard because the guest bedroom is next to my parents room. I tried cornering him but he couldn't get going. Ugh. Sort of a "wasted" cycle.

    CS/Q: None

  • @bows22 whereabouts are you? I LOVE evening walks when the weather is nice. I actually was thinking of implementing a daily walk alone in the evening for myself.

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 24/3

    Timing: Excellent

    Typical LP length: 13-14

    Testing: WFAF

R/R: Feeling yucky again today, dull cramps going on, prob just ovulation. Happy the weather is nice again today so we could get a good last day in Rome touring!

@nolemama24 that is sooo frustrating, sorry to hear that ❤️
  • @bows22 it's FINALLY a nice morning here too! SO happy to spend the day at a desk lol.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 23/6

    Timing: -3,-2,-1

    Typical LP length: 11

Testing: Trying to wait until Saturday 8DPO. I feel like I will cave and do it tomorrow even though there is probably no point but I am so damn impatient.

R/R: I started temping yesterday, and both mornings I stood up and thought "oh shit! I'm not supposed to move this much!" So I'm laying back down having a groggy back and forth conversation in my head...
"You only stood up for like 4 seconds, it doesn't matter."
"What if it DOES matter and now your pattern is complete crap?"
"No no its fine it can't possibly shift THAT much upon standing and laying back down."
    "But what if DOES?!"

Lol.. tomorrow I will remember. I'll change my alarm tone to establish a new pattern. The new sound will help me remember that I have a new morning routine.
  • @bows22 evening walks are the best! So relaxing.
@nolemama24 that is so frustrating. I’m sorry you couldn’t get the timing you wanted to in.

    Month/Cycle: 6

    CD/DPO: 28/11

    Timing: 0, +1

    Typical LP length: 14-16

Testing: Haven’t yet this morning. Thinking I might skip today.

R/R: Rant: Blues didn’t win so now we are behind a game😭

    CS/Q: didn’t temp this month

    CD/DPO: 17/2

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, O

    Typical LP length: 12-13 days

Testing: I haven't decided yet. Maybe 10 DPO or just WFAF to not show up (FX!!)

R/R: Another high temp this morning so I should get my CHs tomorrow!

CS/Q: Putting my thermometer away after tomorrow morning. No plans to temp during the remainder of the TWW!

@bows22 I took an evening walk yesterday with my pup!

@nolemama24 I'm sorry you feel like this was a wasted cycle. It's always frustrating when we don't get the timing that we would like. Especially, since there are SO few days to try and make it happen!

@samvsimpson I'm sorry you're still having leftover O cramping. I've had months like that before too. It stinks! At least you're in Rome though. Enjoy all the gelato! That'll make you feel better. :)

@mrs_llama Haha! This made me laugh. I have such irrational conversations in my head too while TTC.

@rikiteacup I'm so sorry, thinking of you all during this critical time!

@bows22 that sounds lovely! A walk is such a great way to spend time together!

@nolemama24 It sucks feeling like it's a wasted cycle! So frustrating.

    @samvsimpson Ooh Rome!!!

@mrs_llama LOLing at your dramatic interpretation of the temping struggle!!! Super same!

@puppylove8910 I feel so much better putting my thermometer away during the TWW. I was obsessing over every temp, so I'm with you!

    @whitealbum29 Brunch sounds so fun!

    Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD/DPO: 20/3

    Timing: -2, -1, 0

    Typical LP length: 12-14

Testing: Going to attempt not to.

R/R: Work has been crazy busy, which is oddly a nice distraction. I've realized though that my late O this month means FW will no longer fall during my vacation next cycle (which I didn't set out for it to be, but it felt like a nice bonus when it looked like that might be the case.)

CS/Q: Thanks for the help yesterday! I'm going to mention it to my dr.

    CD/DPO: 20/9

    Timing: excellent

    Typical LP length: 14 days

    Testing: probably tomorrow

R/R: I know it's not rational, but I just *feel* like i'm out this cycle. I just want to cry, and I'm dreading testing and getting confirmation that nothing happened, despite our best efforts. Also, work is hard.  I have a lot of really sad cases right now (I work with chronic and/or terminally ill children, so you could argue that it's always sad, but some days are definitely better than others. )

I dyed my hair purple this past weekend and i'm getting lots of compliments, so that's been fun. :)

    CS/Q: Nope

@bows22 We are still testing sisters! FX for you!

@mrs_llama Same. I had a crazy dip on my chart this month bc we slept with the windows open and had one random cold night. I woke up shivering, and, surprise, my temp was a whole degree lower. And when my animals wake me up early, I get mad at them like they're deliberately sabotaging my charting efforts!

@nolemama24 I’m in PA! The “timing” question means which days you HIO in relation to O. -1 is the day before O, etc. I think the range is typically -4 (or -5?) to +1. Or some people just say good/bad, etc. Is that what you were asking?

    @samvsimpson glad it warmed up!

@mrs_llama yes I hear you on spending this beautiful day inside! Good luck with remembering to temp. I had to change the name of my alarm to say “temp” - I told this to someone recently so I’m sorry if it was you haha.

@madcouplewithabox ugh sucks to lose in the playoffs at home!

@puppylove8910 yay for last temp tomorrow!

@whitealbum29 omg yes a treat! good idea! haha. Brunch sounds fun! Is it a fancy brunch?

@rikiteacup I hope you get some good news about your uncle soon ❤️
  • @shoogapoff purple hair sounds like soooo much fun. I don’t have the bravery to do awesome colors. My crazy decision was to get bangs lol
  • bows22bows22 member
oops took too long to hit post so missed a couple people

@mvt2003 I agree that the silver lining or bust work is the distraction from TTC

@shoogapoff yes! Good luck testing tomorrow. I know what you mean about not wanting the confirmation. That’s what helped me hold off today
  • @shoogapoff I usually feel the same way as you once I hit 8dpo. Like, the cycle was a failure and it's time for the next. I think I wrote this yesterday to someone else, but I wonder if it's because our progesterone levels usually peak around then and it affects our moods (hence PMS). **TW, LO MENTIONED, LOSS**

For DS's TWW, I noticed that by 8dpo I was incredibly moody and already assumed I was out. The same thing just happened to me with my recent CP. So I genuinely wonder if our progesterone levels has anything to do with feeling this way?

  • @rikiteacup, I find temping in the TWW to be added stress. I over analyze every temperature until I go crazy! I find the TWW to be more peaceful when my thermometer is out of the picture. :)

  • @bows22 & @shoogapoff - FX for you tomorrow!

@nolemomma24 - I'm sorry about your cycle this month. That sounds frustrating!

@samvsimpson - I'm glad the weather has improved for you.

@rikiteacup - *hugs* I'll be thinking of ya!

    Month/Cycle: 5

    Typical LP length: 12-24

    Testing: WFAF or 5/24

R/R: Oh I so did not want to go to the gym today, but I made it. I definitely moved a little slower than I typically have the past two days. I'm tried to avoid SS today.

    CS/Q: Nope
  • @madcouplewithabox Lol! My hair is naturally medium brown, and I did a deposit- only color, so it turned out more of a purpley brown. Not too crazy, but definitely noticeable. And it washes out, so minimal risk!
  • @puppylove8910 That's a good perspective! It helps to think about it being something happening chemically- makes me feel less ridiculous. Im going with it!
  • @m6agua Burgundy red is so pretty! Sounds fun!
  • Thank you so much for helping me understand the timing part everyone! @m6agua I just had my reverse T3 bloodwork taken for the FIRST TIME SINCE I'VE BEEN DIAGNOSED. Can you believe that?? I just had it taken on Tuesday. Interested to see what it says. It's now been 10 days since I switched from Synthroid to NP Thyroid and I had a few pretty rough days. My free t3 was realllly low. But now I am perking up with energy and feeling pretty good. Hope the meds change helps you out. Hugs!!!

@nolemama24 I'm glad you are feeling better with the meds switch. I hope this new doc gets you on the right track.
