How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): Pretty good, still have sore boobs and constant hunger. My mood swings are outrageous!
Rants/Raves: After 80 degrees last week were back in the 50s this week and I’m overly pissed about it.
Questions: Is anyone experiencing round ligament pain yet? I swear I’ve been feeling it in my right side, level with my pubic bone and radiating into my groin. Ouch!

@k_mama91 I'm loving this weather change! 50s are nicer for me than 80s, but we also need to replace our AC unit so that could have something to do with it. Definitely noticing RLP though. Not all the time, but like if I move quickly.

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): thought I was feeling better but it turns out that was just because I was taking my meds and taking it easy. Showered post-med but pre-food this morning and threw up again. Other than that just really constipated.
Rants/Raves: I'm really constipated and hate large pills so I'm taking a gummy prenatal without iron. My blood work came back from my last appointment with my hemoglobin at 13.4 so I can keep skipping an iron supplement. Hooray!
Questions: any other STM+ feel like a terrible mom? DS is still in his crib because I'm letting my stomach settle a bit before getting him. He was crying but I think he fell back asleep.

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): Still so sick. But able to eat a bit more now that I know my sickness routine. I've literally eaten 2 jars of pickles since Thursday. Ew.
Rants/Raves: my husband really went all out for me on mother's day. And I've signed myself up for a 7week ceramic class, starting tonight. I'm so excited to have something to do for myself throughout summer without kids lol

@nothingbuttherain I do feel kinda like a bad mom. I make breakfast a little to late some days- and my patience is no where to be found.
@k_@k_mama91 I'm really not sure what round ligament pain is- but when I sneeze or move in awkward positions I do get pains around my stomach.
@LM1007 I’ve read it can be sharp pains in the abdomen from sneezing, quick movements. I get that too but I’m also having the aching in my groin. It’s a little unsettling but it’s normal and means things are growing!

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): breast pain, round ligament pain when I sneeze or cough, acne, headaches, nausea that only goes down when I eat but the thought of eating initially makes it worse!
Rants/Raves: they were difficult to take before pregnancy due to smell/taste, but my liquid iron & prenatal capsules are so difficult to get down!!!
Questions: When does it start feeling real? What should I prioritize for getting ready? Any recommendations on telling my boss? I do PTSD research for a large medical university, so no hazards but it can be high stress/emotionally charged. I'm considering talking to HR first, but wouldnt want them to tell my supervisor before I do.
GTKY: We live in Savannah, GA and actually just moved into our 'forever home' a couple weeks before we found out I am pregnant. One major downside to the timeline is that this house needs a lot of renovations and baby is really speeding up the original timeline.

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): Good- I’m tired, not sleeping well lately. My exercise routine it still way off- lots of things I would normally do make me sick or woozy, which stinks. Usually bloated at the end of the night post my one meal of the day that sometimes sounds good.
Rants/Raves: I work with pretty much all guys in a retail shop that appeals mostly to men. It’s been hard not telling people what’s going on, because they have been asking me if I’m feeling okay. Trying to hold out to the second trimester to tell people around me 👍
Questions: Tooth sensitivity has been randomly kicking up for me. Has anybody else noticed that? Not while eating, mostly just during brushing. It’s not everywhere, just one gun line above a couple of teeth.

We’re in Northern California near Oakland/San Francisco. We have also lived in So Cal (our true home) and that’s where we intend to be living by this time next year. Job switching and home selling to come. Sounds bad while pregnant, but hey, I’m almost 40, life’s too short not to act on this stuff!

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): Craving a glass of milk which if I have leads to severe nausea. Nausea in the early morning and usually around dinnertime, I've been only able to have a couple bites at dinner before I get extremely nauseous and then end up eating something super later after it passes.
Rants/Raves: These hormones are making my emotions go crazy. I tear up at so many things right now and it's so out of character. I also feel like I have been getting mad about the smallest dumbest things.
Questions: I need to talk to my doctor tomorrow on their preference with travel (flights) during pregnancy and how late they'll let me fly. We've been invited to visit some friends who live in Alaska and we'd like to go in September which should be before 30 weeks along so I want to know whether or not they're okay with us making that booking now. I also have a work conference in early October that I'd need to fly to, if she'll let me fly at 31 weeks.

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): Exhausted and nauseous constantly. But luckily I haven't actually gotten sick.
Rants/Raves: I can't wait until after the test results to start sharing! Also, I'm a teacher and I need summer break to happen now. I don't have enough energy to deal with a bunch of little ones that are getting crazy with the warm weather!

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): Slightly better this week in terms of nausea. It still comes in waves if I don’t eat a snack and after eating a big meal, but I’ve noticed an improvement in the mornings. Fatigue is still very real, I’ve been taking naps all the time which I’ve never been able to do. Bummed I am not exercising as much as I’d like to be cuz I’m so tired. So thirsty for water always. Food aversions are still a big thing. Biggest symptom has been wacko emotions this week, specifically anxiety! I’m so anxious about getting our results and the next ultrasound. Can’t wait for that relief of knowing everything is good. Been trying to meditate and relax.
Rants/Raves: Will this anxiety feeling ever go away!? I’m assuming after each visit to the Dr. it will be better but some visits are so far apart and it’s hard not to worry. I just want to be positive and excited!!!
Questions: Are most of you still waiting to tell family/friends? We’ve only told a select few and have decided to wait til end of first trimester to tell family. Have you found any decrease in nausea at 10+ weeks? I have a bit and read it’s normal but of course an alway worried

@cpk3535 My gums have been sensitive for about a week now with brushing. It was like this in my last pregnancy too

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): I’m feeling pretty well. I’m exhausted and my boobs are sore but otherwise things seem fine.
Rants/Raves: We’re having gorgeous sunny weather this week and I enjoyed time outside and at the park with my son today!
Questions: Anyone else unsure about telling people? My family knows but we haven’t told my in-laws yet as my last pregnancy they became way too involved and it made me uncomfortable. I told my hubby maybe after my ultrasound next week, but it’s been so peaceful without them asking 8 million questions...

@moonriver_and_me We have told close family and friends but haven’t said anything on Facebook. I’ve only told my boss at work, none of my coworkers. Will wait to tell them and the rest of the world when I start to look pregnant.

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): My symptoms are starting to disappear. My boobs don’t hurt as bad and after a weekend at Disney, I’m not nearly as exhausted as I thought I’d be.
Rants/Raves: First works problems. The airline lost our luggage. We found out today it’s still in Orlando and will hopefully make it back here Thursday, but my husband’s CPAP is in there, phone chargers, make up, and other necessities. 😕

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): I'm feeling worse than ever the past few days. Very tired and nauseated! Still struggling with food aversions and sensitivity to smells.
Rants/Raves: I live in the city and commute to work on public transit. Lately, the worst of my nausea coincides with my ride home from work and I spend the whole ride trying not to throw up. 🤢

I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, but have been living in Chicago for the past 12 years.
@sunshineandlemons i feel you on the symptoms decreasing! it’s starting to ease up a little for me just in the past few days. you’re ahead of me by 4 days so it’s interesting. did that happen around this time with your first girl, as well? (this is my first pregnancy so everything is so new!)
The only negative thing is I found out in another blood test taken at the same time that my immunity to rubella wore off at some point. Can’t get a booster til after I deliver. Wish my Dr. had tested this before TTC so we could have avoided that... annoyed... but she said it’s rare to contract these days.

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): I didn’t take my nausea medicine Saturday night... BAD IDEA! Was throwing up the past 2 days. Today I feel a million times better... had two chocolate doughnuts haha. Still feeling really dizzy.
Rants/Raves: I recently got promoted to a VP position at work. I feel like I’m not meeting their expectations since I’ve missed work or have left early. They are reassuring, but it’s causing stress.
Questions: Is anyone’s belly getting itchy?

@nothingbuttherain My OB had me take Colace last time around for constipation and I'll likely be starting it up again soon, not too large of a pill if you want to check with your doc for some relief!
@allison_smith_6212 I flew last time around at 24 weeks and it wasn't too bad, not sure if your doc will recommend flying in 3rd tri or not

@baby-n-pups ours are bloodhounds, not the easiest to train! They do great with 8yo but even he gets knocked down some.

I’m still waiting to see my NIPTs results and it’s driving me a little crazy 😜 We really want to know which of our previous baby stuff needs to stay and what needs to go. Do donation places want older car seats if they’re in good shape, or do we just throw those away? I’m also going to go through clothes from last time and pull nicer stuff for a consignment shop to maybe get some $$$ back for baby 2. I’m ashamed I’ve been stockpiling this long, but DH and I never knew when we’d be ready to go for baby 2. I think we expected this to happen a lot sooner. Anybody else dealing with a minimizing fire sale feeling at their house?😂😛
Also, is it weird that my next office appointment isn’t until mid-June? I think it puts me around 16 weeks. I guess I’ve had two ultrasounds already at this point (last one at 10 weeks) and taken all of the blood work tests and NIPTs, so does that sound correct? It just seems like a long time to wait between checks.
As for the baby gear/clothes I’m in the same boat. We’re resuing the crib and pack n play. I didn’t keep many of ds clothes and we don’t have his boppy, bumbo, or swing.
Also my my most recent appt was 5/10 and I’m going a full 4 weeks before I’m seen again. I think it’s pretty standard.
