  • @NYTino24 major side eye to your SIL. That's so mean for her to treat you and your H like that.
Your RE requires online courses? I've never heard of that. I guess that makes sense, though.
  • @NYTino24 I’m sorry your SIL is like that, I don’t get how people can treat other people that way

@emeraldduchess that is so sweet of your mom and she is so right!

  • @varimama I don't watch Game of Thrones, but my newsfeed this morning is full of disgruntled fans!
  • @NYTino24 Sorry about your weekend. Your SIL sounds like a piece of work.
@emeraldduchess That's super nice of your mom <3

    Month/Cycle: 5/5

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, FF, HIO, PNVs

R/R: Rant: apparently none of my bump posts from the weekend actually posted from my phone. Grrr. And booo Monday.
Rave: I had a nice weekend, which wasn't super busy for the first time in weeks. I'm back on the WW wagon after being off track with my eating for far too long. I plan to go to CycleBar this morning after work and hit up Costco later in the week.

  • @NYTino24 I’m the words of Stephanie tanner: how rude! My ex SIL was like that... we didn’t invite her to our wedding, just my BIL. Sorry you went through that.

@emeraldduchess lol... the real pants struggle is real. When is your last day?

    Month/Cycle: 5/1 AL

    WAYDTGKU: benched; BBT and OPK

R/R: I can’t figure out what’s going on with my body right now and it’s driving me crazy! Ugh! But I’m excited about school the next few weeks... doing some STEM challenges with my students to finish out the school year! They are making gliders and racing them today!

CS/Q: I’m not sure I’m going to ovulate this cycle. My opk’s Are getting lighter, my temps are rising, but my CM is showing me getting towards ovulation. I don’t know! Thoughts?

Sorry I was barely around this weekend and didn't get to post on WTO!
@NYTino24 - sorry for your crappy weekend! Your SIL sounds like a handful.
@emeraldduchess - That's such a sweet and lovely gesture from your mom. Those cinnamon rolls sound so good! I love using yogurt in dough for pastries/cake/etc.
@ejoseph16 - I'm not great with temps but I think someone said recently that CM is a more reliable indicator than OPK's? Maybe in the next couple of days?

R/R: Happy that it seems O is happening at a good time on its own this month without Clomid, and happy with our FWP efforts over the weekend. (I'm staying here for one more day although I think I O'd over the weekend...I still got a "high" OPK yesterday so not sure if maybe it will be today.)

    WAYDTGKU:
-A more laid-back (low-pressure) approach, so no charting or temping.
-No contraception, sperm-friendly lubricant (Pre-Seed), staying healthy in general (working out, hiking, eating healthier), pre-natal vitamins, avoiding unnecessary chemicals/nasties in environment/food/pharms.
-Eating healthier. I've been adding in lots of extra fruits, vegetables (particularly greens and cruciferous ones), hemp hearts, sesame seeds, cacao powder, and olive/avocado oils.
-Maintaining a low caffeine intake. No alcohol (no biggie because I'm not a coffee or alcohol drinker).
    -Keeping a TTC journal.

    R/R:
So glad the weekend is over. I am still pretty exhausted from the visit with my family and the in-laws! It didn't go as bad as expected, but I'm so happy to be back home. I'm headed back to the gym this week because last week was a complete wash (I did get some hiking in though)!

@ejoseph16 hope your STEM challenges are fun! As a former engineer I love all things STEM!

@whitealbum29 that’s awesome that O is happening without clomid. FX for you!

  • @NYTino24 A big WTF to your SIL! I can’t believe she would treat somebody like that, but especially family!

@emeraldduchess Glad your cinnamon rolls turned out. So sweet what your mom did for you  <3

@varimama I don’t watch GOT but sorry it was disappointing.

@MrsVP614 Good luck getting back on the WW wagon.

@ejoseph16 Sounds like some fun times coming up at school!

WAYDTGKU: Acupuncture 1x/week, BBT, Digital OPK, SMEP (wasn't planning on it, but sort of just happened), Preseed.

R/R: Got my peak reading this morning on my OPK so the plan is to HIO tonight and tomorrow night. I suspect I'll O at some point tomorrow! I'm feeling left side O pain as well. Just grateful my cycle didn't change much due to last month's *TW, CP.*

CS/Q: In a perfect world, I'd love to HIO tonight and tomorrow MORNING before work, but my DH has a big day tomorrow that I worry he'll have a hard time performing in the AM. Which would just leave me upset the rest of the day. If I potentially O tomorrow, do you think HIO in the AM vs. the PM would really make a difference? As long as we hit tonight?

@emeraldduchess That is so incredibly thoughtful and caring of your mom. <3

@ejoseph16 Eeek! I'm sorry you're having trouble with your temps this month. My temps just stabilized at CD 14 (but still running on the higher side for me). Hang in there!

@whitealbum29 That's such great news! Glad you were able to O without Clomid. :)

  • @MrsVP614 glad you could relax a bit this weekend! Hope your Costco run was a good one. I have never been to that store. I *think* there is one a few towns over from me.
@puppylove8910 I think as long as you hit O tonight, it should be good timing. Good luck!
@misshelen86 glad your bbq was a success!
@flowntheloop glad your inlaw visit went better than expected.  That's always good when the worst doesn't happen with the inlaws. :)
@whitealbum29 wahoo for O without clomid!
@ejoseph16 our last day is in mid-June. I love the STEM activities you have planned! I am hoping to do some fun stuff when finals are over (yes, we have finals in elementary school, but only in a few subjects).
  • Hi All,

I'm new here. Just posted in the newbie thread.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD: 10

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, temping, also just started checking for CM today. I just removed my IUD about 12 days ago and I don't think I have ovulated yet. Have no clue what my cycle is like these days because I had my IUD in for so long and before that I suppressed my periods with OCPs. I remember ovulating in the past but that was so long ago.

R/R: (I'm new here and I'm not sure what this means. Does it mean what I have been doing for rest and relaxation?) If so, spending time with hubby and exercising. Have been quite busy workwise recently so haven't had a ton of relaxation time.

CS/Q: Same here. What does CS/Q mean?

@ejoseph16 Your temps will probably get closer to 98 when you O and you should see a shift of about .4 degrees.

@emeraldduchess I’m not 100% sure it’s required, but I got a letter and an email to register for the “courses”. I know plenty of women who have struggled with TTC and who have seen an RE who still don’t know how to talk about what procedures they’ve had or meds they’ve taken, so I think it’s good that they have them.

@kimiij It means chart stalk / questions. We highly recommend charting temperatures on the Fertility Friend app around here.

@puppylove8910 The earlier the better. You need the sperm to be there before the egg.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
