Upcoming Appointments: Day after memorial day for GD screening
How are you feeling?: Good, perpetually tired, but I think that's just life at this point, I'm not expecting it to change until at least DS#1 is in college.
Rants/Raves: I am currently in VA at a client. It took an hour and half to get here, (in theory without traffic it's a 45 minute drive) that's actually pretty good for this commute, previous years visiting this client there are days it's taken me 2 or more hours either to get here or home. I'm here today through Wednesday and I am not looking forward to doing this 5 more times. I hope my bladder continues to hold up.
Questions: Why can I not figure out spacing on TB, sometimes it adds extra lines, and sometimes it doesn't?

DH is going for a PhD in computer science, so of course he's his family's tech support. I'm pretty good at computers, so before I met him I was my family's tech support. He came up to visit for the weekend, and Saturday night we were discussing what time he was going to pick me up on Sunday. I said I had to go to my grandma's to fix her printer and I had no idea how long it would take, so I would just call him. He said that if I had problems with the printer I could call him, I said "you could just come and look at it yourself." So he did. (He hadn't met my grandma before. His father said that's when he knew we going to get married.) My uncle was there visiting my grandma, and later my mom told me that he called her after we left, and asked if we were dating, a few minutes after we left he suddenly realized why at the end of the visit we asked for directions to a nearby park. He said he wished he had caught on sooner so he could have grilled DH properly.

How are you feeling?: exhausted
Rants/Raves: had to go in 3 times for AS because baby’s position they couldn’t get good measurements of heart and spine. Nurses all say he’s fine it’s ok but if Dr wants to speak to you something is wrong. Well after my AS today, the dr wanted to speak to me. She’s asking me questions about previous pregnancies and my health and I burst into tears thinking she’s about to tell me something is wrong with the baby. She says nothing is wrong she just wanted to meet me.

DH and I used to sit in a parking lot looking at stars and talking. One of the first times we were there, we watched a group of deer chase each other around, running from parking lot to highway. We were laughing watching them then I said ‘those damn teenager deers.. only teenagers would be that reckless.’ The look on his face was hilarious. He looked like 🤨. We still joke about it today lol

How are you feeling?: Honestly, pretty good. I have to make sure I stay hydrated, but this feels much more like my first pregnancy (as opposed to my second, which was horrible. Sick forever, then GD). It feels like it's flying by.
Rants/Raves: When my "BFF" (quotes because I'm struggling with our friendship right now) had her second child, I bestowed SO MUCH STUFF on them. BFF claimed she'd give back big ticket items that were in good shape if I wanted, to which I told her don't worry about it. She persisted, so I said, sure, give me back the carseat bases and caddy, etc. Well MONTHS have gone by and she hasn't made any effort to return them. We go to the same daycare. We live a block apart. Our husbands work together. This is insanity. I've followed up and told her not to worry about it because I get that our lives are not exactly easy, and she keeps insisting she'll return it all. This is very first world problems, I know, but it just is frustrating because I'm debating what I should or should not buy somewhat based on this. She also asked if I wanted a sprinkle for the baby, which I declined, partly because I think she only wants a sprinkle because she really favors boys to girls. Cookies if you made it this far.

Share a funny date story, with DH or someone else: DH and I had a six or seven hour first date that was also with a random group of people. Originally we were going to go to a baseball game on a Thursday but the weather looked terrible, so he asked if I could go Wednesday. My co-workers told me to tell him I would "see if I could move things around." (Pretty sure we had all recently read "The Rules.") We end up also going with the guy who introduced us and his sister, who I went to high school and college with (spoiler alert: that bitch tried unsuccessfully to break us up later!!). DH and I met at a bar alone first, which we were at for at least an hour, then we went to the game which had a rain delay. We never ran out of things to talk about, which is probably why we're married

How are you feeling?: Good! Just starting to feel large. Sex is uncomfortable lol
Rants/Raves: The school year is starting to wind down already. I need to make final exams for 2 classes, which will take quite a bit of time, but once that’s done it’s pretty much smooth sailing! I’m hoping to get all my maternity leave plans in place before leaving for the summer, so that will keep me busy.
Questions: Anyone else uncomfortable during sex? Any positions you recommend? We’ve been trying with me on my side, but that was still pretty uncomfortable last night.

I had lied to my parents that we met at a bar bc we actually met on a dating app. When DH picked me up for our first date, it was our first time actually meeting in person (we’d just been talking for a week through text). I was at my parents house for the weekend and didn’t want him to come to the door and meet my parents when I hadn’t even met him yet, so I met him out in the driveway when he pulled up. He very loudly said “Nice to meet you!!” and I had to shush him and run to his car quickly before any of my family members overheard and figured out my lie 😂 I still haven’t admitted how we actually met, and it’s been too long now that I don’t care to fix it. But I do hate when it comes up! So awkward.
It is a bit uncomfortable, what we've found to work is missionary, but with a pillow under my butt so I'm a bit elevated. We somehow managed to do it that way all through both my last pregnancies. (We're very boring)

@peachy0709 I'm sorry your friend is being so ....weird. flaky. Difficult. How odd. Why wouldn't she just give you the stuff or tell you what's actually going on? People do the strangest things sometimes...
@mrosek91 I have massive trouble with TB too. Sometimes things work fine, other times it's a night are and I want to throw my phone! Also, 2 hours each way is a seriously brutal commute! Especially for a pregnant lady! I don't think I would last 😂
@mia8263 wow! I'm sorry that happened! I would have been freaking out. Why can't they just lead with "everything is fine, I just wanted to meet you"?! Instead of letting you panic!
@dogmomma096 I've only got to have sex...4 times so far this pregnancy. But luckily no major position discomfort yet. Though last time, DH leaned in to kiss me, and squished the bump, and that was super uncomfortable. I've heard him behind is good in pregnancy, but I'm a little too nervous to try, since I don't want any cervix bumping. If I start spotting, the OB might take away my privileges again haha.
I did notice things are more..tender though. Sensitive. We have to be gentle.
I should probably get a few more..fun times in, before it gets too uncomfortable. My biggest issue is that I've been constipated. So that make sex unappealing to attempt.

Feeling ok overall! Sore....everywhere. I'm already waddling. Which is kinda depressing haha. Bending is difficult. And getting up from crouching is brutal. LOVING baby kicks though. The heartburn has been brutal. I got an Rx at my last appointment, but just dropped it off to be filled. I'll have it tomorrow. Hopefully it helps.
I'm also crabby. I guess it's a FFC for tomorrow, but DH has been....annoying me a bit lately. For some reason I'm finding everything he does, irritating. I miss him like crazy whenever we are apart. But then I find myself getting annoyed and overly irritated, thinking "why are you talking?" "Why did you Inturrupt me again?". I actually feel really bad about it. I'm actively trying to not be annoyed, but its not working.
Rant/rave: well....rave about how amazing my family is. My in-laws spent the last 2 days with me while DH is at work. Fixing stuff in our house, cleaning, packing, sorting..... My parents did the same on mother's day. My sister just spent the last 2 days over as well, cleaning, packing, cooking, dog walking.... I'm so lucky.
Also, rave I guess.... I just got a call from HR at work. They found me a placement for light duties, starting Tuesday! Which means I will have an income! Yay! It also means that I have to work M-F for the first time in my life, doing brutally boring desk work. And Dr appointments (like my glucose test next week) will be much more difficult. And getting our house ready to sell....and moving ... But hey. I'll have a paycheck for the next few months. So I'm pretty stoked.
GTKY: I think my funniest date story is too long to tell properly here haha. But Cole's notes version:

Within 5 min of meeting him he says "when I'm an engineer and you're a doctor, and we are married, we can afford any car we want!"
Out for dinner. He is pounding back the doubles. Keeps saying "did you tell anyone you were coming here?!" Of course I did, I'm not stupid. "Well I didn't tell ANYONE" he says. "Cool". He repeats several times that he didn't tell anyone before eventually explaining "well I didn't want to tell all my aunt's, uncles, cousins and grandparents that I have this awesome new girlfriend named chillycanadian, and then in 3 weeks, they ask me where you are and I have to tell them you dumped me!"
"I'm a virgin. Are you?"
Me: "no I'm not."
H: well I am. But I was hoping you could help me with that ...... (Repeated MANY times in many ways, throughout the evening.)
When the bill comes, he slides it toward me and says "you can get this one!" Ha. No. I am paying for mine. But NOT paying for your $80 in booze, (I had only water) plus your steak dinner....
I'm driving him home: A is "awkward guy", M is me.

A: so what do you think?
M confused: about Jack Layton?
A: no. What do you think?!
M: about what?
A: I want to know what you think!
M: I don't understand what you're asking me...

A exasperated sigh: I'm asking you what you THINK! About us?! Are you my girlfriend now?!

When we got to his house, he wouldn't get out of my car. For THIRTY minutes he kept making excuses and just kept talking.

M: ok so it's really late, and I really need to pee. So I need to go home now.
A: well I'm not inviting you in, becuase I'm not ready for you to meet my parents yet
M: I'm not asking you to invite me in. I'm asking you to get out of my car, so I can go home!!
A: oh. Well ...can I kiss you first?
M: no.
He harassed me for months after...
Anyway, much more to the story. Many funny stupid comments. But that's way too long already haha
