Re: WTO Friday 5/10

  • happy Friday! I’m up extra early so I got us started!

    Month/Cycle: 5/1 AL

    CD: 14

WAYDTGKU: currently benched. OPK and BBT

R/R: Rant: staff meeting this morning to create class lists for next year. Any other teachers know how painful this is. 🤦🏼‍♀️
Rave: it’s friday!!!!! MH and I have finally started HIO again (I’ve been super sensitive lately AL) and we feel good about getting back to TTC.

CS/Q: ok I’ll finally post my chart. It’s finally starting to look normal again.

  • @ejoseph16 good luck with class lists! Glad you’re feeling a bit better about TTC

@emeraldduchess I hope these last few weeks with all the grading go by quick and that you get to enjoy the weather at least a little!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD: 14

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, CM, pre seed, PNV, EOD

R/R: Some weeks I love grocery shopping but I’m just done with this week so I did a to-go order (and I had a $10 off coupon for to-go so that never hurts).

Also so excited it’s Friday! Friday night DH and I do a game night together on Fridays and tonight we’re trying to win the month of May in Pandemic Legacy after loosing last Friday!

  • *lurking* sorry, @brookert615. Mh is forever the optimist about getting pregnant even though he’s crippled with anxiety over plenty of less reasonable things, so I know how it can be hard to feel devastated and want SO to share in on some of those feelings. Have you scheduled an appointment with an re? Mh kept pushing us to wait on that, but i went for the initial visit after month 10 turned out to be a bust and then followed through on all the testing after month 11 was a bust. (I needed some time to be ready for the whirlwind of tests.) We didn’t see any hard and fast rule from our insurance saying that we had to wait another month or two (and we called to double check). My thought was that if it were stress holding us back, tests with promising results might nip that in the bud, and if we found a problem, maybe we’d find a solution. Again, so sorry for the crappy emotions today. Feel how you feel and let loose tonight. You’re not alone! ❤️
  • @begging4abump Thank you so much for your kind words  <3!!! I plan to to have an appointment lined up with an RE for my official 12th month mark but now I'm re-thinking it all lol. My endocrinologist is actually very involved (she's the one who put me on Metformin and diagnosed my PCOS) so I'm hoping she will be pushing for some testing come my appointment in June. I can see the whole needing time to get ready for all of the tests and agree with your reasoning! Thanks again!!!

@brookert615 so sorry, friend. MH seems to be the same way - every month I'm devastated, he's like "it'll happen!" and moves on with his life. It makes me irate. I know they process it differently than we do though. Have fun with your free night and the Spice Girls tonight <3
  • @brookert615 hugs to you, sweetie. 💜

@ejoseph16 - That's great that you're feeling better and up for HIO!! I've always wondered about the process of making classes for next year, do you all basically get in a room and dish about the students and talk about which kids should be separated? Does everyone have to take at least one problem child so they're spaced out?
@emeraldduchess - hope grading doesn't take over your whole weekend!
@varimama - have fun with game night! SO tried to teach me Pandemic once very late at night but I was hopeless...
@brookert615 - so sorry about CD 1 and your frustration with DH, etc! Add me to the list of people whose SO doesn't seem bothered at all when another month passes. You're not alone!
@misshelen86 - feel better and have fun with your mom!

    CS/Q: nope
  • I'm so sorry @brookert615 :( Can your OB order CD 3 blood tests as a starting point?

  • @whitealbum29 Thank you! So sorry you're dealing with a lingering headache and stomach bug! Hope you feel better so you can enjoy your weekend!

@puppylove8910 Thank you!!! My OB refuses to do anything until the 12 month mark, unfortunately. I need to dive deep into my insurance and see what RE's are covered! I've been pushing DH to go get a SA through his doctor since he has an appointment coming up to get at least some answers.

R/R: My temp dropped this morning so I definitely DID NOT ovulate. I think my temps are just off because of the **TW, CP** last cycle. Therefore, as much as I hate OPKs, I will continue to use them alongside temping so I can truly confirm O. Just in case my body decides to throw me another curve ball! I usually O b/w CD 15-17 so FX not much changes. Although, I have O'd on CD 21 before (usually if I am sick during my FW).

  • @brookert615 I’m so sorry about CD1 and that your H doesn’t get it. I think it’s just really a different experience for men and it seems to be fairly common among them all to act this way. It might also be he’s not letting his disappointment show thinking it’ll make you feel better. I know my H does that sometimes with stuff even though I tell him I’d rather he just be sad/hurt/angry with me

@misshelen86 hope you feel better quickly and enjoy the time with your mom

@whitealbum29 I feel like Pandemic has a steep learning curve but then all of a sudden you get it! It’s one of our favorite games! I hope you feel better for the weekend!

WAYDTGKU: FF/BBT/CM, NP Thyroid, Progesterone Cream, Multivitamin, Vit D, Omega 2, Probiotic, Thyromx supplement, Methylated B-Complex. Magnesium Bisglycinate. DH is on Multi, D, Omega 3 w/ CoQ10

R/R: Finally Friday! Work is super busy today though. I'm heading out of town tomorrow to visit my parents at their lake house and get a bunch of stuff I left there over the new years. Then coming home to meal prep and catch up on the house on Sunday.

CS/Q:  https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/5d321c  FF gave me cross hairs this morning with my high temp but I am positive it is wrong and will change. I am almost certain O was CD 14 or 15, but I'm thinking 15 because I had O pain. I am also pretty sure my temp was abnormally elevated because I woke up an about 1 hour and 45 minutes before my alarm and then went back to sleep and woke up 1.5 hours later and took my temp. Our timing will suck, but did manage to FWP last night. I probably will move over to the TWW tomorrow if my temp is high again.

  • @emeraldduchess it’s also that time of year when you finally get caught up on grading only to find another stack of papers to grade, right? 🤦🏼‍♀️ Me today. Glad you’re done with science! GL with social studies!

@brookert615 your gif made me laugh. That’s me on CD1. Sorry you’re back to CD1. 😩 MH was the same about both not getting a BFP and about our MC. I think they just don’t connect to it like we do. I think because we feel it and it’s our body in charge, we are more emotionally connected to it. I try to just communicate how I’m feeling to get him to understand the frustration and emotional drain I am feeling. Otherwise I snap at him over nothing.

@whitealbum29 oh our process is way more complicated than it needs to be. We do pink and blue post it notes on chart paper. Each child is put on a post it note with math and reading scores (and if they haven’t passed the third grade reading guarantee). We also put a red dot in the bottom right hand corner if they’re a behavioral problem, mark if they’re on an IEP, and put names of students they need to be separated from. Then we sort them in front of the next grade level. That was last week. This week, we had to watch the second grade teachers sort and get information on our kids for next year. Sounds like we have a crew next year, too! Including (and I’m quoting the teacher here) a special education kiddo who is gifted, has a 1-on-1 aide, and is a “boob grabber”. Yep. I’ll have him for reading. My principal laughed at my reaction. I mean... you can’t make this stuff up.
  • Wow @ejoseph16 I always assumed it was just like a random shuffle done by a computer or something. That makes sense though that they’d want to even it out a bit and separate some kids.
