@bakerstreetboys Oh man! I didn’t realize you had an ultrasound yet. I have so many threads to catch up on! My doc won’t be doing betas unless I suspect a MC. I go for my first ultrasound May 9.

first beta 1 day early - 52 48 hoists later (last Thursday) - 95 today - 195 i just got the results they said they were about viability of this pregnancy they wanted to see my beta in 400-500 range also my thyroid level came back at 7.9 she said very high. She said should be less than 4 normally and less than 2.5 during pregnancy. They are starting me on medication. I had a miscarriage last cycle with betas 24, 48, 98.
@italianmommy8 I’m so sorry 😕 I also have hypothyroidism and high TSH. Unfortunately it is linked to a higher risk of miscarriage. I be crossing my fingers that your outcome is positive 🤞

Today 4/24 16dp5dt 231 then 2 hours later in hospital 253
Nurse called and said although they are increasing they are not doubling and very concerning and likely won’t be viable again. Go back in on Saturday for ultrasound and blood work. 5 weeks today. Very upsetting.
Anyone experience anything similar?
Last cycle in Feb my betas were 24, 44, 98 then went down and ended in miscarriage
New here! Not sure if I’m staying or not, because my LMP has me at a DD of January 4th, but my beta is why I’m thinking that may be wrong??
I’m 42 TTC #3, and had a MC two months ago. At 5w4d my beta was 1164. MC at 6w5d on March 1st. 1st MC, but I’m old, so not completely unexpected.
1st day of LMP was March 31st. Tracked LH surge, which peaked on CD11, Apr 10. PPT on April 25th. Went in for preg conf on Wednesday, 21DPO. Nurse called me yesterday, test is positive, and beta is 5,105. I literally said, ‘I’m...what?? Holy sh!t!’ Doc’s message was, ‘#s look great, U/S in 2 weeks’. I’m guessing she wants U/S early at just over 6w because the number is so high. I know my dates are correct. I tracked it like a maniac.
5,102 at 4w3d seems off the charts. A few google searches says multiples or ectopic, or perfectly normal. Thanks, google 🙄. Anyone else have unusually high betas? I was expecting low, not crazy high!
@5ismyfav this time. My numbers are normal, but they were really high with my pregnancy with my son. I had a draw and my doctor said he wanted an ultrasound in two weeks, but when they got the result, they had me come in the next day.

Oddly she didn’t ask me to come back in until the U/S on the 13th.
tw I also had a molar pregnancy since, and my numbers were perfect, if not on the low side.
