I love this thread! I went with something toatally different, It was an October wedding so I did hoops a lot of eucalyptus, cotton blossoms, and a couple flowers on each. All faux, and I made them all myself. *Please disregard the best man's face lol It was hard to get them to stop acting ridiculous*
Mine had peonies, Queen Anne’s lace, and some other types that I’m not sure of. I’m sure I have a better close-up if the bouquets but this is the best I can find on my phone right now!
I went bold, too. Dark purple and red-orange were my colors. Here are the flowers! Never mind the blue dress - that's just a random family member in the family photo.
I wish we would had done a cheaper non traditional bouquet. I swear this thing was only in my hands a total of 20 minutes the whole day. Then we left for our honeymoon the next day so I never really got to enjoy them. Not worth it. Oh well. They were still gorgeous.

Since we did a destination wedding and the courthouse would only let me have a bouquet (no other decorations), we just had a lady make one out of flowers that she could gather at the farmers' market that morning. I loved how it turned out.
@duewithpu2 I love the hoops! Thinking about doing some larger ones on the wall above the baby's crib. I'll have to get some pointers from you!
@kgg2241 gorgeous! It looks like you just scooped them up on a lovely morning walk.
My bouquet was a heavy motherf*cker! I remember getting so tired of carrying it for all the pictures. Grabbed these pics from my photographer's blog just now, so I'm sorry if they're too big. Bonus pic of the cake.
I got married last summer and after meeting with a florist and having a little sticker shock I ended up buying bouquets from Costco the day before 😂 My aunt took the bouquets and made mine a little bigger and just added a ribbon and made the bridesmaids a little smaller but I honestly loved them as I just wanted whites and greens!
My theme that I used a lot for inspiration were fall leaves. My colors were purple (plum) and burnt orange. My bouquet had white hydrangeas, burnt orange and purple calla lilies, orange tulips and the bottom layer was leaves. My bridesmaids wore plum bridesmaid dresses with burnt orange roses and calla lily bouquet.
Here are our flowers. I couldn’t find one of our centerpieces on my phone but you can kind of see them in venue pic. We did tell vases with roses, hydrangeas, and gerbera daisies.
I finally downloaded some wedding photos to my phone. Here are the bouquets from my wedding! Mine was professionally done, and I made the bouquets for my bridesmaids.
Re: GTKY: Wedding Bouquet/Flowers!
Centerpiece “flowers” - I made all the centerpieces with the help of my Mom and MIL. Many hours were spent with a glue gun on those bad boys!!
