R/R: Today is opening day for ALDIs (our new grocery store) I’m hoping to check it out but if it’s a madhouse then I’ll just go to our normal place across the street. I’m pretty excited because I’ve been frustrated with our normal place for cost and quality for a while now so hope this place lives up to my dreams.

@varimama I love aldi! I’m sure it will be crazy but I hope you do get a chance to check it out. It’s where I do most of our shopping and save so much money.

R/R: rant- dh has had failure to launch both last night and this morning...so not impressed 😒. Preeeety sure our chance has passed. Dh has duty today so I won’t see him until tomorrow after work.

Rave- it’s finally Thursday so the rest of the week should be more relaxed. There’s a big plant sale on Saturday that I’m looking forward to.

WAYDTGKU: ovia app, prenatals, cm, eod, evening primrose oil, preseed, will probably end up doing opk's this month. I just need to put this list somewhere and copy it in every day, I feel like I always forget something haha.

R/R: We should start EOD today but SO got a bad night's sleep and was a stress case this morning about work, which is supposed to get less stressful for him this month. I hope he can relax today and just chill out for the next couple of weeks.

R/R: the deck is officially ALL gone. There's so much light in our basement now lol. Now DH and I need to go through our junk to see what we can add to the dumpster before they haul it away. Problem is, there's almost no room left so the old table and chairs I want to toss might not fit! We might have to saw the legs off or something.

@whitealbum29 hope your H is able to put work behind him for a bit. My H struggles with that too sometimes when it’s really stressful.

@inthewoods23 that’s awesome getting more light in your basement! Hope you find a way to fit the table!

@whitealbum29 Hope YH finds a way to relax a bit! Maybe you could set up a little relaxation scene for him when he gets home to help put him in the mood? Candles, music, etc.?

R/R: MH put a serious dent in the front corner our fairly new, very expensive stainless fridge with his crutch. I know he didn't do it on purpose, but just one more thing to add on to my list of frustrations with this ankle injury.

On the bright side, a friend let us borrow a knee scooter, so now he doesn't need the crutches as much, and he's able to do a lot more around the house during the day while I'm at work, so I'm not coming home to a disaster that I have to clean up completely by myself every day. It even has a super stylish basket on it, so he's able to "carry" things now! Lifesaver!

CS/Q: Nah.

@shamrocandroll I'm not sure when they'll start, but yes, we're having a new deck put on! I think they won't start until the dumpster is removed from our driveway since it currently sits where the new material will. Composite deck with an aluminum railing! Can't wait to NEVER have to stain it.

R/R: took my 2 cats to their new vet yesterday for annual/vaccination and she and her assistant were both so fantastic! I've never had a bad vet, but this one, you could just tell how much she genuinely loves animals. 😊 both cats are in great health, especially considering their age, but they're also both fat (13 lbs) so DH and I were kindly suggested to give them "less treats, more play" 😬

@varimama I've never been to an Aldi because we don't have one but I've heard good things, especially about their prices!

@kbrown2385 bummer about failure to launch, but as others said, your timing might still be good! 🤞 plant sale sounds nice! I've always had a black thumb but recently planted some sunflowers, we'll see if they grow..

@bows22 prepping for travel is always so stressful! But it's nice to get away! Where are you headed?

@whitealbum29 sorry to hear SO is under so much stress. Hopefully he'll be able to unwind a bit soon. Men always seem to carry their work around with them.

@shamrocandroll ugh about your fridge! I would be so upset, but like, it was an accident so you can't show how upset you are. 😑 yay for the knee scooter though! Hope his ankle heals soon. It's hard when your SO is out of commission. But for sicker and poorer or whatever 😝

@inthewoods23 sounds like you've got a big project going on! Are you remodeling your basement area?

@peppyj9 no, just a new deck being built on since the old one was a death trap to small children. The "railing" was bench seating and underneath the seat part it was open so anybody to crawl right off and we have a walk out basement so the deck is 1 story up. Everybody agrees that the previous owner definitely didn't get a permit to build it because there was so much wrong with the construction.

@varimama I love Aldi! I eat Whole30/Paleo-ish and find a lot of products at Aldi. I think they have great meat and produce and there are great cleaner options for packaged food too. I just had a thing of smoked salmon from there that is only $10, it is the only one I've found without added sugar. I also eat gluten free and they have several great products (bread, chicken nuggets, pretzles, etc), I try not to eat that stuff too often but it is nice to have the options. They also have some random things there too, over Christmas I bought a ton of really large rolls of nice wrapping paper for 75 cents each!

@peppyj9 I have a large cat who I have on a "diet" right now. Basically we are trying not to over feed him and give him more exercise too. I think he must be 15/16 lbs, but he is long and muscular so 11-12 lbs is ideal for him.

R/R: The guests that were coming this weekend postponed their trip. I'm so relieved! I can get caught up on laundry from being gone and grocery shopping! Also I still had so much to cleaning left. I'm glad I can pace myself now.

@shamrocandroll sorry you’re having such a tough time with dh and his injury! Exciting about the scooter! Maybe he will prove to be of some help now, as long as he doesn’t run into the fridge again lol.

@kbrown2385 whoa! Your Elvis is a big boy! 😺Personally, I think cats enjoy some extra fluff and it makes them more comfy to cuddle with! And mine still have plenty of energy so I'm not too worried, but vets orders I guess.

R/R: rough emotional day, but excited to be done with state testing! My little third graders have taken some kind of end of the year test (state or district) at least 2 days a week every week since the end of March. We took the last one today! We celebrated by relaxing and watching a movie and eating popcorn.

CS/Q: nothing to see

@varimama MH and I love ALDI! That’s the main gravers store we use. The ALDI find aisle is our favorite.

@kbrown2385 sorry about the failure to launch... we had that problem not too long ago. 😩

@shamrocandroll I don’t know why but I just visualized YH on a scooter with a basket and it made me giggle! I can imagine the frustration, especially when TTC. Then to put a dent in the fridge? Party foul!

@shamrocandroll - yes! Would be good for both of us. If I can quit getting pre-stressed out b/c I'm anticipating him being stressed and tired when we need to HIO that would prob help too! That's great about the scooter! Ugh hopefully you get good news about his recovery this week.
