Trying to Get Pregnant

R/R: Today is opening day for ALDIs (our new grocery store) I’m hoping to check it out but if it’s a madhouse then I’ll just go to our normal place across the street. I’m pretty excited because I’ve been frustrated with our normal place for cost and quality for a while now so hope this place lives up to my dreams.

@varimama enjoy your new aldi! People around here love it

@kbrown2385 ugh so frustrating. Hopefully today is O so you will have pretty good timing still
  • @kbrown2385 hope you still end up with good timing! A plant sale sounds like fun, I wish I had a green thumb bc I love plants but mine all die 😬

@bows22 hope you have a great trip!

@whitealbum29 good luck getting YH to calm down. DH gets so stressed about work too and I feel bad, I wish he was able to turn his mind off of work stuff when he gets home
  • @whitealbum29 hope your H is able to put work behind him for a bit. My H struggles with that too sometimes when it’s really stressful.

@inthewoods23 that’s awesome getting more light in your basement! Hope you find a way to fit the table!

@inthewoods23 have fun with the dumpster! I’m jealous. I hope you can make your stuff fit!
  • @inthewoods23 I love being able to get rid of stuff you don’t want anymore! Hopefully you can make it all fit!

@whitealbum29 hoping yh can relax a little so you can get through your fw.

@bows22 I’m sure you’ll get everything you need done! Have a great trip!
  • @varimama I hope it's everything you ever dreamed it would be, haha!

@kbrown2385 That's frustrating.  Hopefully timing still works out okay!

@bows22 Good luck getting things done, and have so much fun on your trip!  Where ya headed?

@whitealbum29 Hope YH finds a way to relax a bit!  Maybe you could set up a little relaxation scene for him when he gets home to help put him in the mood?  Candles, music, etc.?  :)

@inthewoods23 Are you guys planning to put another deck on?  Or any other big plans for the space?

  • @shamrocandroll I'm not sure when they'll start, but yes, we're having a new deck put on! I think they won't start until the dumpster is removed from our driveway since it currently sits where the new material will. Composite deck with an aluminum railing! Can't wait to NEVER have to stain it.

  • @peppyj9 no, just a new deck being built on since the old one was a death trap to small children. The "railing" was bench seating and underneath the seat part it was open so anybody to crawl right off and we have a walk out basement so the deck is 1 story up. Everybody agrees that the previous owner definitely didn't get a permit to build it because there was so much wrong with the construction.

  • @spacemountaineer I’m hoping to find something that I can’t kill and can put in our front flowerbeds. Glad you’ll be able to catch up on everything without your guests there!

@peppyj9 glad you found a vet you like so much! Compared to mine your cats are small haha. Elvis is 21lbs 🙃.

@shamrocandroll sorry you’re having such a tough time with dh and his injury! Exciting about the scooter! Maybe he will prove to be of some help now, as long as he doesn’t run into the fridge again lol.

  • peppyj9peppyj9 member
@kbrown2385 whoa! Your Elvis is a big boy! 😺Personally, I think cats enjoy some extra fluff and it makes them more comfy to cuddle with! And mine still have plenty of energy so I'm not too worried,  but vets orders I guess.

R/R: rough emotional day, but excited to be done with state testing! My little third graders have taken some kind of end of the year test (state or district) at least 2 days a week every week since the end of March. We took the last one today! We celebrated by relaxing and watching a movie and eating popcorn.

    CS/Q: nothing to see

@varimama MH and I love ALDI! That’s the main gravers store we use. The ALDI find aisle is our favorite.

@kbrown2385 sorry about the failure to launch... we had that problem not too long ago. 😩

@shamrocandroll I don’t know why but I just visualized YH on a scooter with a basket and it made me giggle! I can imagine the frustration, especially when TTC. Then to put a dent in the fridge? Party foul!

Edited for formatting... my phone did something crazy. 🤷🏼‍♀️
  • @shamrocandroll - yes! Would be good for both of us. If I can quit getting pre-stressed out b/c I'm anticipating him being stressed and tired when we need to HIO that would prob help too! That's great about the scooter! Ugh hopefully you get good news about his recovery this week.

@peppyj9 - great about your new vet!

@ejoseph16 - so sorry today was rough for you. Good about state testing!
