R/R: I was woken up by a weird noise this morning. It sounded like a screeching cat. Idk if it was in my dreams or outside but it certainly got my heart going.
I had lots of cramping yesterday so hopefully that means things are growing. The cramping and negative opks are throwing me off though. Hopefully all the cramping means lots of good follicles.

WAYDTGKU: temping with Ava, checking CM/CP, adding a vitamin B complex to my prenatal.
R/R: I am really hoping that perhaps my ovulation on day 21 has been due to stress and being here at my parent's makes me feel less stressed. Also hoping that adding the vitamin B complex will help me ovulate sooner. My husband leaves back to the UK because he could only take off so much from work on May 7th, and that is CD 18. The thought of this month being "wasted" makes me a little rage-y. But hopefully not!!!! C'monnnn body!
Also two questions, my OBGYN wanted to do a ultrasound to (I assume) check for follicles, etc. Should I do that around the time I suspect I ovulate? I learned from you ladies that progesterone blood test should happen a couple days AFTER you ovulate, so I changed my appointment for that since it was originally scheduled on CD 21. Second question: have any of you tried those OTC progesterone creams to start using a few days after ovulation? I saw it at Whole Foods and on Amazon.

@whitealbum29 whyyy do they feel the need to do that?! I hate when MH wakes me up for no good reason

R/R: got caught up on Game of Thrones last night. Today I think we are going to a trampoline park and maybe also climbing. Unless MH gets called in to work. Which is frustrating. They were told they got two days off (since they’ve been working away from home every day do the last month) then last night he was told he was on standby to come in today. Oh and I’m making split pea soup from scratch with our Easter hambone so I’m really excited for that
CS/Q: nope
@kbrown2385 FX the cramping is good. OPKs are such a mind game. If I didn’t randomly test one evening before bed, I would have never seen my positive. I thought it was FMU only. Showed me!
@inthewoods23 I hope you aren’t sick. Feel better!
@puppylove8910 I am sorry for your loss. Big hugs!

@nolemama24 hopefully this isn’t a wasted cycle for you! From my understanding you want the progesterone tested 7 days after ovulation. Drs schedule it on cd21 because they base it on everyone having a 28 day cycle and o’ing cd 14. I’d assume the dr wants to check how many follicles you’re producing so doing the scan before ovulation is good.
@whitealbum29 why on earth do either of those reasons sound good enough to wake you up early 🙄. I’d be so annoyed!
@kerco925 sorry you’re having so much trouble with the opks this cycle! Hopefully you start surging again soon!
@inthewoods23 hope you’re not getting sick
@puppylove8910 I’m so sorry for your loss
@whitealbum29 I hate when SOs wake you up and are able to fall back asleep!
@kerco925 I hope testing midday helps you catch your surge!

R/R: I’m just getting back into working out the last couple months and somehow my knee got hurt and it’s frustrating me trying to rest it and not work out to my full ability. Today was arm day though so it didn’t really affect much and made me feel a lot better. I never thought I’d be a fit person but I honestly feel better after my workouts

CS/Q: I've noticed these last two months that my pre-o temps are a little more than a half a degree higher than they used to be. I'm pretty sure that is a sign that my thyroid/hormones are finally getting back to where they are supposed to be after a year of treatment.

@inthewoods23 FX you aren't getting sick. Although it does seem like this sore throat, sinus congestion is the thing that is going around recently.
@puppylove8910 I am sorry. I have not been through a chemical, I had a blighted ovum though. Feel free to PM me.
@whitealbum29 That is the worst when it is just before your alarm and not enough time to go back to sleep.
@kerco925 I'm no help with OPKs, sounds like maybe you are just ovulating a day or so earlier. Hopefully things will level out and stay consistent!
@nolemama24 I would NOT start and OTC progesterone cream. I am using progesterone cream, but it is prescribed by my functional practitioner and was made at a compound pharmacy to have the correct dose just for me and I use different amounts at different parts in my cycle. I have no clue about the ultrasound and when it should be.
@mrsJessS That is frustrating about YH work. I hope your soup is good, I made it once and it was terrible. But I also didn't really put anything in it but peas. My fault for not looking at a recipe.
@variemama Good for you for working out. I need to start.

TTC#2 April 2019@varimama glad you feel so good working out! I really need to get back into it.
I posted on the infertility friend but I’ll update here too. I have 3 dominate follicles with 2 on the right at 27 and 25mm and one on the left at 21mm. My lining looks really good too so we are a go for this cycle. I also got my peak opk today so I’m sure the next 2 weeks will be nice and long 🙄😆.

CD: 14.... reaching fw now!
WAYDTGKU: opks, herbs, acupuncture..possibly starting progesterone this month after o confirmed w us. I have an appointment w doc next week.
R/R: glad O time is finally approaching however really hoping DH is up to BD everyday this week. He agreed we would so im holding him to it.
CS/Q:Usually only bd 2-3 x in fw and I feel like just has not been enough! ... DH claims he will so better not pull an "im too tired excuse" . Anyone elses SO do this? ... i mean i get it its been a long time ttc now but if we're going to make this happen... it takes work!! ... so over it by now.
@valgal90 Haha, so, similarly, MH wasn't "too tired" but his thingy was "injured" from too much hio. (we BDed once, day off, then two days in a row) so he couldn't finish last nice, despite how hot I dressed up for him. Alas! I wanted to get one more in there! I think 3-4 is a good bet, and 2-3 is pretty good too, if it's timed right! Too bad we don't always O on the same day, it would make planning BD so much easier...
@valgal90 - Hopefully your H keeps it together for FW! For mine it is "you're putting too much pressure on me and it won't work if I feel pressured." Well sorry bud, but I can't delete the information from your brain that we're trying, so you're gonna have to take up meditation or something if it's an issue! I keep experimenting with new ways to be more relaxed... No opk's, opk's but don't tell him when fw is, etc.
@kagesstarshroom lol'd at "his thingy was injured" ... get it girl. Hey as long as you got 2-3 days in fw atleast.. it only takes one! I keep telling myself that too! But its been a while for us so trying to up the anty. It only takes one but.. the more the merrier right
