DH is out of town this week!! I went shopping this weekend and got a lot of great, healthy options (ha!). I really wanted a chicken pot pie so I got a frozen one. And tonight I have a wedge of (pasteurized!) Brie and a nice crusty loaf of bread. That is heaven to me right now!! I have to make dinner for Thurs and Fri and I have no clue what to make.
AFM Sunday: Chili and Cornbread Monday: Cheeseburger wraps, Sweet Potato Tots, Broccoli Tuesday: Rotisserie Chicken, Baked Beans, Carrots Wednesday: Angel Hair with Sweet Apple Chicken Sausage and Peas and Cheese Sauce Thursday: Leftovers Friday: Hmm, my parents are in town, so no Pizza Friday I'll have to plan something nice-ish.
Another discombobulated week for me. No idea what I'm doing for dinners!
Tonight is definitely the leftover fish filets with rice and beans from dinner at my parent's house last night. Other than that I need to get stuff at the store today. I have a bunch of avocados at home that are starting to reach the point of no return plus a few tortillas in the freezer, so prob tacos/burritos of some sort. Also probably a pasta of some sort since it's fast. No idea......
All I want lately is red meat and kale salad. At least that's kind of sorta healthy.
M - Work dinner (the worst!)... looked ahead at the menu and I'm going to get a Santa Fe salad T - Salmon with pesto, rice, asparagus W - Pork potstickers, Sezchuan green beans Th - Carne asada tacos F - Not sure yet but definitely something that I don't have to cook!
M- Broccoli quiche for DH and I. Grilled cheese for the kids. Strawberries. T- DH is working late so idk... Turkey dogs and baked beans? Grapes. W- Out bc DS has OT then we have youth group. Th- Pasta and Turkey meatballs... side salads if we have some left from lunches F- leftovers
@nomangos23 Lol, i'll let you know after tonight if it's any good! (it's a "clean out my fridge/freezer/pantry" kind of meal.) But yeah, I'm just going to make a quick cheese sauce (flour/butter, milk, cheddar cheese, S&P) and toss everything else together.
