Upcoming Appointments: Stupid health coaching call tomorrow, but the next real one is a couple weeks out
How are you feeling?: Like, half the time, I'm fine. Half the time I'm on the couch or hunched half way over. It's delightful. I used to toy with the idea of being a surrogate after this, that's a big NOPE for me now.
Rants/Raves: Rave: My husband is killing it right now. Rant: My 4 yr old is testing my very last nerve right now. Seriously the whining is just BANANAS and I can't take it.
Questions: Are ya'll doing the classes? I've got us signed up but really debating the worth as second timers. Blah.
GTKY: What is one pregnancy symptom you have that you weren't expecting? My sciatica wasn't a thing at all the last go around, and it's a real bitch.

Upcoming Appointments: OB tomorrow with one of my normal OB's partners and then MFM Wednesday to check on my abovementioned placenta previa.
How are you feeling?: Decent. Vomited a couple random times in the past few weeks, but they seem to have been on days my hormones were randomly really high, since on the same days I was super cry-y and/or irritable. Also made it back to the gym 2-4x/week the last few, so that's been good...
Rants/Raves: DeQuervain's Tenosynovitis needs to GTFO my life. My thumbs/wrists hurt like hell when I do random actions, and they change.

GTKY: What is one pregnancy symptom you have that you weren't expecting? I don't think placenta previa counts as a symptom, per se, but I really wish I didn't have it. I think the other thing is that I didn't realize just how easy it would be to get dehydrated while pregnant, even though I was fully aware how much one's blood/fluid volume increases...

How are you feeling?: I’m still extremely backed up.... but Zantac has saved my life at night!!
Rants/Raves: rant- ordered my baby shower dress & it was supposed to be here today. I’m super anxious to try it on! Midday today I got the notification that it’ll be here tomorrow. I’m still trying to get over it! Lol

GTKY: What is one pregnancy symptom you have that you weren't expecting? 3rd time around and there’s nothing new that I wasn’t expecting really. Much less symptoms than my last pregnancy so I’m happy about that!

How are you feeling?: overall still good, with some blah moments mixed in
Rants/Raves: made buffalo chicken wraps for dinner last night and they were delicious! Unfortunately I was up half of the night with awful heartburn that tums didn’t touch

@erynpdx not taking any classes. Delivering at the same hospital with the same practice so I figure it wouldn’t be worth the time.

How are you feeling?: got an ultrasound and a regular appointment next week. Going into appointments every 2 weeks from here on out.
Rants/Raves: I'm already over feeling like I have to pee every time I stand up. I got so frustrated this weekend, I don't know how I'm going to last the rest of this pregnancy.
Questions: Going to ask my OB about the TdaP vaccine and suggesting it to the rest of our family.
GTKY: What is one pregnancy symptom you have that you weren't expecting? PREGNANCY BRAIN. What the ever loving hell. I pride myself on being super organized and not having control of my brain is making things difficult!

How are you feeling?: overall pretty decent for third tri. Back pain is intermittent depending on my activity. Small bouts of acid reflux. Nothing truly terrible though!
Rants/Raves: today was nuts. DH’s old ass dog threw up about 10 times and peed everywhere while I was out with DS today. Such a lovely mess to come home to. While cleaning that up, DH stole a brand new tub of face cream off my bathroom counter and smeared it all over himself and the playroom. Lol.... not sure I have a Rave for today after all that 😂

GTKY: What is one pregnancy symptom you have that you weren't expecting? Hmmm, I think I expected just about everything I’m experiencing this go-round. This pregnancy has been waaaay smoother than my first by far.

How are you feeling?: Tired, big, tired...
Rants/Raves: DH has spent the last several days bored. His primary hobby is gaming and no games sound good. I want to help, but I can't create interest out of nothing.
Also, we discovered the shower in our master bath has been leaking. That's a major reno we'll have to undertake and I will be limited in how I can help. I feel like this is a relationship tester in the making.

GTKY: What is one pregnancy symptom you have that you weren't expecting? Honestly, the lack of symptoms has been the most surprising. I spent the first several months questioning whether I was actually KU or not. Since I started feeling her move, I actually feel pregnant and it's a great feeling.

How are you feeling?: Pretty tired again😞 I'm sleeping better, but still get exhausted easily. Probably my anemia. And my veins have been bothering me if I'm in my feet too much.

GTKY: What is one pregnancy symptom you have that you weren't expecting? Well this is my third, so I kind of knew what to expect😉 I never expected that pregnancy would agree so well with me though! I don't get sick and I don't suffer from a lot of the normal symptoms. I have had more insomnia this time, though.

How are you feeling?: Not bad, although getting sleep has become a real problem between the hip pain, discomfort, and getting up to pee every 2 hours
Rants/Raves: My baby shower is in two weeks! I desperately need some time with my (non-crazy) family!! And I get to meet my brand new niece. So excited.

How are you feeling?: Still feeling really good overall. We were in Vegas over the weekend and my tolerance for being on my feet is definitely starting to decline. I've also started to have some pelvic pain (more like soreness?) but that's come and gone over the past couple of weeks.
Rants/Raves: The weather has been really nice here the past couple of days and it's been the extra motivation I've needed to go for my walks lately (that plus a whiney dog if I don't
). Also, we're almost caught up on GOT (we were re-watching the whole thing) so I'm really happy I won't have to worry as much about getting spoiled.
Questions: Anyone decided what they're doing in terms of a baby book? I've been looking into it and found a company (The Short Years) that seems relatively new that has a app with prompts/where you input pictures and then they print the pages for you. I'm intrigued and it seems like a more realistic option since I know it's probably one of those things that's going to fall off my priority list pretty fast. Would love to know what others have done/are thinking about doing.
GTKY: What is one pregnancy symptom you have that you weren't expecting? The leaky boobs
I thought that was only a thing after your milk came in but I've had it since early in the second trimester. I don't even want to know how bad it's going to get once there's actually something more than colostrum in there.

Rants/Raves: We're going to SC this weekend for a wedding, which will be a reunion with our grad school friends and a chance to visit our favorite spots from school. Super excited!

How are you feeling?: My pelvis still feels like it is 82 years old. My heartburn is getting a little bit better. Also I switched prenatals and I think my digestive system is starting to become more normal.
Rants/Raves: I am so mad that I have to do the 3 hour glucose. My last hospital offered that on weekends but this hospital does not so I have to miss half a day of work which is burning ETO that I want for maternity leave.
