Ugh, my OB appointment got moved because my doctor is in the hospital all afternoon (we all know what that means 🙄), so no testing progesterone for me this cycle...or probably hormones for the next.

@marebear15 Can you call back and tell a nurse what tests you were hoping to have and ask that another doctor order them?? My doctor's practice has done that for me in the past. Then I just pick up the lab slip and get it done.
@marebear15 Nooo! Is there another doctor in the practice? When timing on tests is so important, they should know to have options in case one doctor gets stuck. Maybe call the nurse’s line and see if there is any other option or if the doctor can just order them and send you to the lab.

I wanted this appointment to tell my OB about my problems (12 months TTC) and to get a game plan together with him on what tests and stuff we want to do. They offered another doctor, but he was on call for my MC and doesn't have the best bedside manner. And obviously I couldn't make a game plan with him. The other appointments they had didn't fit with my schedule because I'm low on available sick time at work, so I needed a late afternoon appointment.
Edit: We'll just finish out this cycle and see where I'm at for next cycle. Looking at my calendar, I might be CD3 on the day of the appointment, so maybe I can still get the hormone testing in!
@mercury94 My ob, when I told her I'd found a supportive online community, told me this story about this online community that, like, destroyed this women's life by giving her bad advice? I don't remember the details exactly but it was kind of terrifying, and I was like "um, no, this is a very supportive group of smart women that is well-regulated." and she was like whew.

We have an appointment tomorrow with my bfs cancer doctor and he’s stressing about it therefore making me stress about it. He doesn’t think his last MRI went good since it took extra time. If everyone can just cross everything for us for tomorrow, that would be appreciated. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🙏🏻
Im pretty sure everything’s good cause his scan was Saturday and last time when they found cancer, he was called that same night as the scan was taken and was in for surgery the very next day. and we didn’t get a call to speed up the appointment day or anything.
