We have a crazy week, so I'm trying to make dinners as easy as possible!
M - leftovers T - dinner with my fam, either ordering pizza or having pulled pork sandwiches W - brats, potato salad, and baked beans Th - Trader Joe's orange chicken, ramen, and steamed veggies F - date night out with my H Sa - TBD Su - TBD
Monday - We grilled salmon, asparagus, and sweet potatoes Tuesday/Wednesday - Taco Bowls! Thursday - Turkey meat sauce with gnocchi, some roasted veggie (probably brussels sprouts) Friday - Always take out - B.Good lately for those who have that! Sat/Sun are never planned, we just wing it!
Because beef is one of the few things that is consistently staying down lately:
Sunday: grilled Korean short ribs and bell peppers. I think this may have been supposed to last for 2 meals but it was so good I ate it all. Not sorry.
Monday: beef and veggies stir fry (I ate vegetables! 🎉)
Tuesday: steak kabobs
Wednesday: Gnocchi
Thursday: pulling something out of the freezer since I ate 2 meals at once?
Friday: I’m traveling this weekend so DH and DD are on their own. I’ll be eating out.
@greenbean-2 love me some gnocchi! My grandmother has been making it more lately (we are Italian and it's a family recipe that takes some love. Shes been sick for a few years and is now on dialysis and feeling better). Its such a comfort food for me
@prpl11butterfly I love making pasta!! I worked at an Italian restaurant where the waitstaff came in and made the pasta weekly, so that’s where I learned. I make it frequently at home. We have chickens so I always have a ton of eggs. I know some families don’t like to share recipes but if your willing I’d love to see how your grandmother makes hers! ☺️
@emily1052 she use to not like to share recipes outside of family but has opened up about that over the last 10 or so years lol. I'll have to see if she actually has it written down as most of the time she doesn't. It's so much fun making Italian cookies with her. She says "here put the anise in" and when I say how much she says "about a bottle and then some" 🙄 🤣
