Trying to Get Pregnant

When to stop birth control

For those that were taking the pill before trying to conceive, when did you stop taking the pill, when did you start trying, and when did you get pregnant? We have a wedding and honeymoon planned for end of June, and would love to start trying then. I started the pill about a year, year and a half ago, was off for about two months (between prescriptions) in February/March now I'm back on again. Thoughts? Thank you

We can’t make this decision for you. Just stop whenever you think is the right time for you.

But, please don’t stop mid-pack. You would be amazed how often women come here and tell us they stopped mid-pack.

denlu Um, let's see... I stopped taking BC when I was single back in like 2010.  I read the Enovid case files soon after, and if I hadn't stopped BC by then I definitely would have cause that was scary as f*ck!!!  Then, I started dating DH a few years later, and after NT/NP for at least a year and a half we got PG the first time in Septmeber 2015.  That ended in a MC.
Got PG again in June 2016.  That ended in a MC.
Got PG again in September 2016. That ended in a MC.
Got PG again in February 2017. That ended in a MC.
Got PG with our last ditch effort in January 2019. That ended in a MC.

Why the h*ll did I spend so much freaking MONEY on BC pills that caused me so many problems for so d*mned many years?!?!?!

But for the love of everything that is holy do NOT STOP YOUR PILLS MID-PACK!!!!!!!  EVER!!!!!!!
