    Well I was hoping someone would post today, but maybe I’ll get it started!


    How far along are you? 5w2d (by my LMP)

    Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Nope. Don’t go until 5/1. The wait is brutal. 

    Any pregnancy related symptoms? Waking up 2-3x a night, sore boobs, some cramping, major bloat and super smell. All the stereotypical things. 

    Rants/Raves? Rave: reading  a great book (Expecting Better) that talks about the actual data behind all the rules we get told during pregnancy and debunks a lot of it. Rant: dying to go to the OBGYN and it feels like a year away. Clearly the next 8 months are going to be long. 

    Questions for FTM, STM+? No questions so far. I’m like the LAST of my friends and SILs to get pregnant. So I’ve seen a lot. 

    GTKY: What item for baby are you most excited to shop for? All of it! I know that’s cheating. Right now, been scouring Pinterest for gender neutral nursery stuff.

    Hi!

    I'm 7 weeks today based on LMP.

    Appts? We went to a consultant appointment yesterday at a midwifery center to see if I'm a good candidate for home birth or birthing center delivery. I am! Phew! 

    Symptoms? My sense of smell is making lots of things extra challenging. (My partner's breath has been killing my soul, and I can hardly handle smelling most warm foods.) Otherwise, I'm burpy, gasy, have moments of uncomfortable queasiness, and hunger pangs. Boobs are much less sore than they were a couple of weeks ago.

    Rant: The food aversions are SO much rougher than I thought they'd be. Rave: Good Karma vanilla flax milk, omg ♡

    Questions for FTM, STM+? When did you tell your families? We're likely waiting about two more weeks. First baby in my immediate family (^: So excited!

    GTKY: I honestly can't wait to create an imaginative, sweet space for this little blueberry, so probably wall art and books.

    @veganelise it’s the first baby on my side, it’ll be the 6th for my in laws. We are waiting until after our first appointment because we’ll have a sonogram at that point. I feel like I want “proof” for whatever reason. We will
    be with my family this weekend and I’m sure I’m going to be like the cat who swallowed a canary.

    Rants/Raves? some friends that will be at dinner this week end, have already pointed out that I haven’t been drinking. We are very close to them but we want to make sure everything is fine before announcing.  Kind of dreading dinner because I feel like I will be under a microscope. Continue avoid their questions or just tell them??? Sigh

    Questions for FTM, STM+? not yet, but I’m sure I will have a bunch down the line

    GTKY: What item for baby are you most excited to shop for?  I have no idea. Honestly, I think once I know the gender I will have a better idea.

    How far along are you? — 5 weeks Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? — I have an appointment today for blood work. I had some light bleeding yesterday and we thought I was having a miscarriage but then it tapered off and there is hardly anything today. I’m currently at the cardiologist for my annual appointment and I’m going to see if he will support me having an out of hospital birth at a local birth center. Any pregnancy related symptoms? — boobs are sooooo sore. And I am constantly drinking water and having to use the bathroom. Rants/Raves? — nothing yet Questions for FTM, STM+? — not yet. GTKY: What item for baby are you most excited to shop for? — we are still in shock so we haven’t really thought about it too much yet. After 7 yrs of infertility, we thought we would be childless. We never thought this would happen without help but...here we are...in shock. Lol

    @chrisalex118 everyone is different, but I didn’t even hesitate to tell close friends. At the end of the day I would want them to know good, bad, ugly. And I’ve had friends have losses, so I would want their support.

    How far along are you? 7 weeks

    Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Heartbeat u/s today, went great@150 

    Any pregnancy related symptoms? This week extreme fatigue, chills. Some days I experience nausea which starts late afternoon and well into the night which keeps me awake. I dont have any specific food cravings except that if at all I want to eat - it has to be cold food. Since last week, I cannot stand most food. The strangest food symtom is extreme aversion to cooked rice, rice fragrance and Indian cooking smells. 

    Rants/Raves? This is our 1st  ivf - FET. Hate those progestorne shots. 

    Questions for FTM, STM+? My doctor says not to worry about feeling chilly but google says I should check my thyroid and iron levels. Both were normal in the work up before we started ivf. Should I be concerned?

    GTKY: What item for baby are you most excited to shop for? Cant think right now. All I want is to get off this 1st trimester before my brain starts working again!

    How far along are you? I assume over 5 weeks according to my LMP.

    Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Got an earlier than expected first OB appt for next Thursday, I am so anxious. husband is leaving work to come with me to keep me calm.  

    Any pregnancy related symptoms? Last week it was full on emotion, soreness, exhausted, hungry, this week I feel back to normal. Very confused.

    Rants/Raves? Rant: I really wish people would stop trying to pick baby names and spelling them “differently” just for attention, giving your kid a weird name can be so mean! (I’m on another app and the girls are a bit cray on it with their name choices!) Rave: I’m just excited to have a baby!

    Questions for FTM, STM+? I’d like to know what parts of labor/pregnancy that nobody talks or tells you about. 

    GTKY: What item for baby are you most excited to shop for? Clothes and designing the nursery!

    How far along are you? 6 weeks (due 12/25)

    Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? My first appointment is on May 14th.

    Any pregnancy related symptoms? Almost none! Was feeling nauseous without vomiting, but now I feel totally fine. Sore breasts and a bit more tired than usual, but I almost wish there were more symptoms so I would know I am still pregnant!

    Rants/Raves? Nope.

    Questions for FTM, STM+? Anyone without strong symptoms want to share their experience? It's so hard to know what's happening without any of the markers I'd expect in the first trimester. 

    GTKY: What item for baby are you most excited to shop for? I am not excited to buy baby things even though I'm excited for this baby.

    @brrrrrrrrie and @ktmaesim I was feeling dare I say normal Tuesday morning and then BAM. Heartburn and all day nausea that had me in tears Tues-Thurs. Today I’m feeling semi normal again, with some weird cramping. It’s all a giant mystery and I get how it’s confusing. But know you’re not alone!
