Re: Fur baby Friday!

  • This is how Bella lays on me all the time—between my legs with her head on my stomach.  I can’t wait to see what happens the first time the baby gives a really big kick

  • That's my "puppy". He's a little over a year and 80 pounds. He wants to love of my too much and gets sad when leg cuddles are the best I'll allow. But he's big and not aware that him laying on my belly (or jumping on it as he runs off the bed) hurts like crazy.

We have 2 other dogs that are older (8 and 9 years old) and they aren't acting much different than usual. This isn't their first rodeo.

  • Koya is super energetic, and usually very demanding to play. And especially when we first adopted her, she hated to cuddle. But the first time I was sick, she curled up on my feet and refused to leave.

When I started the enoxaparin injections, the first one was so brutal, I cried.
The next day, when we sat down to do the shots, she was physically getting between me and DH .swatting his hands away.  Climbing on top of me and laying across my lap. Wouldn't let him near me 😂. Now she comes to comfort me. Even though it clearly stresses her out.

This is from the other night when DH was working, and she didn't want to come to bed...she was climbing on me as if to say "umm...Daddy isn't here yet. Go find him. He's missing..."
  • Omg Koya is precious @chillycanadian !! What breed is she?
  • @emqbee aww thank you!!!!
She is a Kelpie husky cross. (Australian hearding dog). So...super smart, but very stubborn.

This is Chanel. My 14yr old baby. She’s almost completely blind and deaf but still the cutest doggie ever! The funniest thing about her is when either of my human children are crying, if I don’t get up fast enough she goes over to them sniffs them out then will lay next to them which usually turns the crying into giggles but once she sees me coming, she walks away like ‘the job is done mom.. you took too long..’ love my little old lady!
