Tired. So tired. Also, I've noticed it's becoming uncomfortable to sleep on my belly with my little bump in the way 🥰
Rants/Raves/Randoms?
I have started a couple registries, which feels crazy. I personally feel like it's so early still, but my sisters are already in full force planning baby showers and want me to get a head start. They have also been asking me about nursery colors and themes, and I'm just like..... am I supposed to know this already?! 😂 Also I have a terrible time choosing because I like ALL the adorable baby things. I like the woodland creatures like deer and bear, AND I love feminine florals, AND I like hot air balloons, AND I like ocean creatures. I want them all. Lol

GTKY: If your life were a book, what would its title be?
When I was in college, I worked summers as an overseas camp counselor. I would be stationed on American military bases around the world, so I could travel on some else's dime while also working and making money. Score! I always thought it would be fun to write a book called "Adventures of a Camp Counselor" that would have cute stories of adorable things my kiddos said and did, juxtaposed with the crazy high jinks us 20-something camp counselors got into when we were living it up, traveling the world on weekends.
Chapter 1: Should we serve brunch or lunch to the baby shower guests?
Chapter 2: should the baby's nursery theme be woodland creatures or hot air balloons? Or how about woodland creatures riding IN hot air balloons?! 😜
Chapter 3: Should I order a salad or a burger for dinner? (Spoiler alert: this chapter ends with me nearly crying because I can't decide, until my H tells the waiter to just bring me both)

Anyone have an appointment this week? Nope, nothing until May
Cravings/Symptoms? Still ham 😂 Its not really a craving, just usually the only thing that sounds good. I'm also still having FOMO. Last night a guy on TV was eating a jelly donut and how it sounds sooo good. But I've been very well behaved with food so stole an orange from my parent this morning instead.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? I've been non participative this week. Works been hoping (hopefully it stays that way....) so by the time I have a min to catch up, there's soooo much happened and i don't have a hot minute to post an update. BUT I wanted to at least play here 😊

@galentine Yay for your appointment Monday! Unfortunately, no ideas for nursery theme for girls. I'm not doing much for mine since she will have to share a room with her brother eventually. But all of the ideas you mentioned were super cute. I love the idea of a soft pink and gray color scheme.
What's going on this week? According to TB, baby girl is as tall as a crayon...

Cravings/Symptoms? This morning, I totally wanted Taco Bell and Cinnabon. I was craving a super cheesy pretzel the other day so DH said we could go tomorrow and get one! And symptoms are the same, still some nausea/bile feeling. And moodiness.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? My twin sister apparently was upset to find out that this baby is a girl, which kind of hurt my feelings. I can see where she might be coming from... since we are twins, she feels competitive with me (this is totally one-sided). I got married first, I bought a house first, I had a baby boy first and now I'm having a girl so my mom thinks she feels like I'm "taking all the firsts" from her for our side of the family. But I don't know why that matters, we aren't close with our side really, and she will be the first for her husband's side. Sorry about the petty rant, it just really made me sad.

@galentine I second bruch!! And let them drink if they want. My family always hosts at the local American legion and my cousins (and some of my moms friends) "get lost" on the way back from the ladies room. I'm perma sober and it doesn't bother me. Also, yes, we are finding out but not till AS (end of May probably). I wouldn't trust blood test as I've already had a boy and his DNA is forever a part of me.
@nnaelilak 4 jobs?! Good grief your insane! Why do they hate the doppler so much?! Mine always runs away the second we catch a murmur....
And YES! All of the brunch all of the time!

How far along are you? 16 weeks, 3 days.
Anyone have an appointment this week? Yes, just had one this morning. The second the doppler touched my stomach, her heartbeat came out nice and strong. I'm so glad she's doing okay in there because I can't feel her moving yet. Next appointment is the anatomy scan!
Cravings/Symptoms? Carbs. I need so many carbs to survive.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? We are supposed to get a huge storm today so I need to hop off of the Bump and run some errands before I'm trapped indoors. I'm going to try and find some maxi dresses and skirts because I'm not ready for maternity wear, but my pants don't love closing.
Questions? Someone offered to give me their crib because they are done having children. Should I take it, or are cribs something you should buy new?
